We wandered into this pub a few weeks ago and honestly I'm still thinking about it…read more I loved the bar! Incredibly quick service, friendly staff, and the drinks kept on coming! I ended up ordering the seafood boil (it's called something else but the name escapes me) and the Cuban sandwich because I was feeling extremely hungry. The Cuban was good, I would say nothing special as far as Cubans go but the boil was great. I got a bit lost in the sauce while eating it so I no doubt embarrassed myself as I completely escaped reality while eating it. We went earlier in the day so the bar wasn't too social but anywhere you sit in the pub is comfortable. Anyway, before I knew it I was 5 drinks deep and being the lightweight I am, I decided to clock out to make it home for bedtime at 9. I get sidetracked...if you're on the fence and are reading this now, just go.

I've been going to Adventures for years every time I am at the Coast to watch football, drink beer…read moreand eat oysters. Last night I was on the Coast for the Candlebox concert at 8. We arrived at 6:30. Got seated really quick and ordered drinks and the Chargrill Trio. Oysters came out in about 10 minutes. They were great. As soon as they hit the table the lady I was with ordered chicken wings and I ordered an oyster Poboy. Her wings came out in about 10 minutes. After 45 minutes I still had not received my Poboy. I told the waitress to take it off the bill cause we had to go to the Hard Rock and my companion was done. She said they don't do that and told me she would check with Manager. She came back and told me they were almost done with it and would box it up to go. I told her I didn't want it because it would be sitting in my vehicle until probably 2 in the morning. She told me she wasn't taking it off the bill and got smart with me. I proceeded to tell her to just go get the F-ing bill. Next thing I know security is over at my table. He told me they gave my Poboy to someone else and was making me another. I told him I didn't want it. Anyway, I left Poboy on the table and paid my $90 bill. I can promise you I will never be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone else ever again. They really should fire our waitress! She has a smart mouth, never came to table to ask if we wanted refills nor did she care that I didn't get to eat with my friend and lied about why I had not gotten my Poboy yet. You can check my reviews everywhere I travel around the country and see I am not the one to complain unless service is horrible.

We got here mid-afternoon on a weekday so as expected it wasn't very busy which was great for us since we had plenty of time to meet the staff and owner and got a little history of this establishment and of course partake in some delicious german cuisine and for me a taste of the ice cold german beers on tap. This is a beautiful venue and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. I'm definitely not an axe thrower but I do have a palette for delicious german food and I'm definitely a self-proclaimed expert beer drinker. After spending some time in Germany I developed a love for German Beer so I wasn't going to waste this opportunity to enjoy a few of my favorites, the BitBurger Pilsner and Hofbrau Dunkel Lager which never disappoints - The menu is filled with authentic offerings that made choosing a little difficult for me I wanted a taste of everything. We started with an amazing pretzel and bier cheese soooo yummy and so big there's plenty to share, we also ordered the Rueben and Brat with fried potatoes everything was perfectly executed so my hats off to the kitchen. This was a wonderful experience, a very comfortable setting and great conversation with everyone that makes this place great, we can't wait to return on our next trip to the area and I've already discussed with Barrett that we'll have a toast with a few cold ones then - I can't wait, you definitely need to bookmark this one...
