We had a great time zip lining. There were 9 lines and took about two hours to complete! Mayshaira and Kaye were great guides and felt very safe with them! Great experience and didn't feel like we were in Florida.
Such a great place! Came for my birthday. 4 in total and all of us had a blast. Tour guides made sure everyone was safe and gave clear instructions. Plus beautiful areas we ziplined over. I would recommend 100% to friends and family.
I came here and had a blast. Our guides Tiana and Andy were great. We did the "best of the best" tour that included 6 zip lines and a rappel. The zip lines were very fun and at times scary. The views were gorgeous. The trails were well kept. There's lots of water along the way. They do a whole bunch of tours including horse back riding.
I showed up here with zero experience and the staff got me set up and guided me along the way. Breathtaking views and an overall great experience. There is a little hiking and steps, but the gear is not heavy. You can't bring much with you on the zip line so make sure your pocket zip shut or you can buy one of their pouches that clips onto your gear.
Went with a group of friends and boy did we have a great time. It is worth the every penny. Our zip guides Rob and James were awesome. The two other friends brought along were afraid of heights and by the end were comfortable as ever and very happy they went! Safety is evident everywhere and the staff is very safety conscious. You can also see that the staff love their jobs! We took the 9 zip 2 bridge tour, not listed here. Took us about 3 hours from reservation start time to finish. Few things worth noting. If you're a smoker, just know there is no smoking or vaping. Also, eat a light lunch or breads beforehand or bring a snack bar or something you can put in your pocket or small bag that you can attach to yourself. They sell some in the office for sale. Water is provided at regular intervals in coolers and paper cups although it's not cold so if you're someone who likes cold water, bring some along but make sure it's attached to your body. Overall, I've been here twice and both times it was a blast. Highly recommend. The views alone are breathtaking.
So much fun and our guides Ross and Bailey were amazing and encouraging and took the time to learn everyone's name. Thank you Ross and Bailey for making my birthday weekend start off with a bang.

My daughter and I came up from Sarasota-2.5 hrs south- to do the trail ride. The place is very clean, well run, and so scenic. The horses were beautiful and well behaved. The trail was definitely different and very scenic, with some steep and narrow paths; not your typical flat and boring. The guests loaded up on a golf cart type vehicle to get from check in to the barn. Then we all waited while Sadie (?) actually grilled and ate a hot dog in front of us!! Same girl upon giving her instructions told everyone "to make your horse go, kick it, and if it doesn't go keep kicking it.. harder". I was appalled!!! One the trail ride, the other girl would take a few photos. I did want pictures of my daughter and I together,so I bought the package. Which is everyone in your group, and that day I think there were 12 or so. The photos she took were not good,but what can ya do? I should have let a gentleman in the group who offered to take my phone and take pictures. Also, between waiting to get on a horse and then waiting for everyone to dismount and get back to the main building, the total ride time was just under an hour. It really is pretty though. I think there were just too many people who booked the same day and time leading to a slightly shorter ride.

They both made me feel confident and safe at all times. Highly recommend going the views are stunning and the most elevation I've ever seen/experienced in Florida. Request Demtrius and Josiah for guides you won't be disappointed. (Probably miss spelled their names that wasn't part of the ground school test)
I've had the chance to experience just about everything The Canyons has to offer -- from the Full Moon Zip Tour and the Big Cliff Canyon 9-Zip Tour, to the kayak tour, daytime horseback ride, and the fireside nighttime horseback adventure. Every single experience has completely satisfied my craving for outdoor adventure and allowed me to enjoy nature in such a fun and memorable way. No matter the activity, the guides have always been knowledgeable, friendly, and great at making everyone -- especially first-timers -- feel comfortable and confident. Their passion for what they do really shows, and it adds so much to the overall experience. The check-in process is always smooth and efficient, especially since you can review and sign waivers ahead of time. On the rare occasion when a tour needed to be rescheduled or canceled, the staff member who called was always polite, professional, and incredibly helpful. The Canyons has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots for outdoor adventures in Ocala, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
An AMAZING experience at The Canyons Zip Line! I've been zip lining in other states and this was even better than I expected, especially in Florida! The canyon views were absolutely beautiful, and I love that the tour felt very immersed in nature and not just an obstacle course type of park. Being up in the tree tops and zipping across beautiful lakes was incredible! I wish I could have taken more photos but some of the best views are while you're zipping! We did the Best of the Best 6 zip line tour and it was perfect. It eliminates the "low and slow" bunny zips for anyone who has been before and gets straight to the good stuff. The lines we did were long (including the longest in FL) and super fast! Our guides Caleb and Taley were amazing as well and kept us safe and made the tour really fun. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend!

If you're really lucky, like we were today with both Ryleigh and Ivan - you'll have guides who are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and just plain fun to be with! That makes all the difference! We could trust the process listening to their every word and as a result, had a blast! In fact everyone we spoke with was great - on the phone and in person. Ryleigh and Ivan are awesome! So fun!! We had an amazing time zip-lining! We went with the $85 package, which includes 5 lines, and it was the perfect choice for my adventurous daughter. The adventure was just the right length -- not too short and not too long. We even did the longest zip line in the state of Florida, and it was absolutely worth it. 10/10 experience! We were a little nervous at first, but it felt like a fun treetop adventure with added height and speed. Highly recommend -- we had a blast! read more
This was such a fun tour - a MUST if you are in the area. Very long and fast zip lines over incredible sights. Our guides - Demetrius and Casey - were extremely professional, funny, and good people. We had such a great experience at Canyons Zip Line & Adventure Park. We originally booked for Friday but got rained out, thankfully they let us reschedule for Sunday morning, and boy was that the right call. The weather was perfect, and we were able to really enjoy the incredible views while zip lining. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. We really appreciated the "training" zone they have at the start to get you comfortable with controlling yourself and your speed. Our guides, James and Bailey, were fantastic. James did a phenomenal job explaining everything while adding light-hearted humor to keep things fun, and Bailey was warm, welcoming, and made us feel at ease the entire time. Both of them were not only great instructors but also genuinely enjoyable to be around, we honestly think they deserve a raise! We'd absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. read more

This was on my bucket list and I'm so happy to have done this. I had the best experience here, me and my partner enjoyed our visit, of course we were nervous but our guides were awesome. There is kayaking, horseback riding and of course their famous zip line. We decided to do the 3 zip lines which took about 1 and a half. The employees run you through a practice to learn the basic then it's on to the top ones. but definitely plan to do more next time. It's a great time, I promise you will love it read more

What a blast. My brother wanted to do some kind of zip lining and he picked this place. We had a very long drive so we left the night before and got a hotel. I recommend going first thing in the morning and the the biggest course. It's worth it. Plus in Florida it gets super hot as the day goes the staff are super friendly. We got Mary & Jarvis. They were fun & funny. Our group were good group of people. We took my 9 year nieces she was a tiny thing but she was able to zip line she made the cut. She was fearless. The only downside were the photo. The photographer are not that great. Tip: Bring some cash so you can tip zip liner staff that are helping you throughout the course and making sure your safe and having fun. read more

First time zip lining since and I'm afraid of heights. YIKES! My family and I decided to do the Big Cliff Canyon. Yes the Big Cliff Canyon! Reluctantly, I did it and am so glad I did. Updating this review after enjoying the Big Cliff Canyon 9 Zip Tour. This tour was a heart-racing, laugh-out-loud, ear-to-ear smiling experience from start to finish. The verdant, panoramic scenery is stunning, with breathtaking aerial views from refreshingly higher elevations than are available throughout most of the state. The zip lines are logically ordered, progressing from mild speeds and shorter lengths to vast, high-speed flyovers above deep blue water. Safety protocol and instruction are taken seriously, but in a manner that leaves plenty of room for fun and provides tour guests the opportunity to enjoy the zip lines in whichever way they consider the most fun and comfortable, from regular seated positions to adventurous inversions. Groups are kept to just the right sizes to ensure participants are not subjected to long wait times between zip lines. However, the single greatest contributor to this unforgettable experience is undeniably the guides, Ryan and Sam. They are the dream team, and they exemplify every quality one could hope for in a guide - approachability, attention to detail, helpfulness, professionalism, strong senses of humor, and most importantly, a desire to ensure everyone has fun. It was my first time horseback riding, alongside some of family, but the Canyons horseback riding team made our trip memorable! The team was friendly and communicative from beginning to end. We were given a run down of what was to be expected and instructions on how to best handle our assigned horses. The trail was around 30 minutes long and the sights were breathtaking and beautiful. Additionally, our guide shared information about the trail, including the remnants of an old mining track where we saw parts of the original track and a mining cart. The amazing staff and well-cared/trained horses were great! read more

Had a blast zip lining with my family on this course. We had a great staff of two that took us to the different posts and taught us how to zip line correctly. They were friendly, fun and informative. The scenery was beautiful, and we felt safe the entire time. Definitely recommend booking online to reserve your spot. We didn't realize they also do horseback rides so we will be back to experience that. read more

Went horseback riding for the first time and this place was awesome! Our guide Megan gave us a great tour with historical facts and horse trivia. Pogo was my guy (horse) and he was not only adorable but his personality was cracking me up the whole way...always eyeballing the greenery looking for his next snack to grab on the go. My partner rode Moose and he was a wonderfully mild mannered horse. Two of the best boys in the barn if you ask me. We will definitely be back to try the nighttime ride with s'mores and wine! read more

We were gifted passes to this place! It was so much fun:) the boys went zip lining which they say was amazing. It included views, heights and thrill. The girls went horse back riding which included nature, views and thrills! The horse back riding had two women leading it. And about 7 participants. We were driven to the barn in a golf cart, waited for the girls to saddle the horses & hook them up. They called us up and we loaded onto the horses. This took about 20-30 minutes. They had wooden plate forms to help get you onto the horses. Once on the horse you waited in line . Trying to keep the horse from moving! Lol once everyone was in line we began our journey. We climbed some steep hills and we're on the side of mountains. Something about an old mine. We stopped and got pictures. And kept on our journey. They gave us a certificate and you can purchase pictures if you choose! It was a great adventure and would recommend it! read more

Yea you have to be 10 or over to go on the sky high zip but you have to be 13 or over to for the child to go by themselves
