    Caesar salad Bites

I have been to Happy Hour twice, from 4-6 p.m. in the bar room. Service is excellent. The menu is small, and has a nice selection of choices. The two pricey items are a strip steak and lamb chops. Both are $16. The strip is thin, but nice size, so I suggest ordering it medium rare. I will ask for a sauce to top it next time. The two small lamb chops were delicious. Nothing comes with these two dishes. I shared a wedge salad with the steak. I had the best creamed spinach side with the lamb. Drinks and wine are good prices. Recommend Happy Hour.

I eat out fairly often for work, so I really appreciate when a place gets it right -- and this one absolutely did. From the moment we sat down, the service stood out. It was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling over the top. Truly exceptional. We were a small group and had a wonderful meal. The filet was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. The scalloped potatoes and creamed corn were very good, and the cheesecake with fresh berries was absolutely delicious -- a perfect ending to the evening. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I'd happily return.

Service is so on point, you may getted annoyed but let them do their profession...Morgan was spectacular, she never ignored us or dropped a beat on her attentiveness! Yes, CG is expensive, however, it is ideal fir a romantic dining experience or special occasions. We started with the flash-fried calamari and hot peppers that were delightfully prepared, however my suggestion is to ease up on the plethora of peppers. Most people prefer more calamari and less peppers...they took over the platter that could have been a smaller plate. We both ordered the sliced Filet Mignon and shared the Potatoes au Gratin... and our food was prepared with expertise. The steak was well presented, tender and juicy and the potatoes were creamy with crunchy potato chips brown on top. I was surprised with a delicious dessert assortment of small bites, cheesecake with fresh fruit and flour less chocolate torte. Wonderful way to end our meal

First timer here! We made reservations for our anniversary and the attention to detail acknowledging it was outstanding. They made us feel special - from the personal card at our table, amazing waitress (Molly) and special dessert - we will definitely return. We started with the tuna tartare and lobster and crab cake. Both were delicious! For dinner I ordered the lamb pops and they were nice enough to split them in half so they weren't as thick (I like the lollipop version). Soo tender and had great taste. My husband had the bone-in filet which was a special. Our waitress did a great job explaining the benefits of a bone-in filet vs regular as we have never heard of it with a filet. It was worth every penny. We also split a lobster tail on the side which was sweet and perfectly baked. The evening was topped off with a special anniversary dessert with a small sampler of a few items. Such an amazing night!

I Found this restaurant on Yelp actually.. and based on my Experience I did not let me down the food was amazing. Both me and my dinner date . The steak melted in my mouth with bursting with flavor. That only Waygu can provide. The service was amazing as well she didn't write anything down as far as our order goes. And once we said we were leaving here to go to the basketball game she provided us with free shots from the bar. I would definitely come back again

My wife and I ate here last night. It wasn't a planned dinner, we got hungry while shopping and went here on the fly. Very fancy with the service and flavoring of a Michelin star restaurant is how I'd sum it up. They have a large menu of food and drink options. It was easy finding dishes we'd enjoy and a wide variety of cuts of steak. Free bread upon sitting down and it was impressive. Most free bread at restaurants are bland and generic. The basket had 4 different types. Food was top notch. I ordered the steak and lobster. My wife had the lamb chops. We also had side orders of truffle fries and creamed corn with bacon. The food was cooked to perfection with excellent flavoring. The corn lacked some flavor depth, but that would be my only complaint. Service was fantastic! Our waitress was consistently checking with us and quick to clear off the table. She made great recommendations and was very informative. Overall, it was a great dinner that neither of us expected as we didn't even plan for dinner. It's a great restaurant for a date night and I would make reservations if going on a weekend. It is expensive, but the food is worth the price.

I attended a large group dinner event at The Capital Grille, and everything went very smoothly. At the beginning of the event, the servers walked around, taking drink orders from an iPad menu. I tried Stoli Doli (vodka and pineapple) and it came ice cold to perfection in a martini glass; it was absolutely delicious and very refreshing. For dinner, because we had a large group, we had a preset menu. We had multiple shared appetizers to start, and my favorite was the calamari. For the main course, I chose the scallops, which were cooked perfectly inside with a crisp exterior. We had several shared table sides, including mashed potatoes and asparagus. They were kind enough to pack dessert for each person to go, and I had the cheesecake. Overall, the event went very well, and the service and dining experience was above and beyond my expectations. I love the traditional steakhouse atmosphere, yet it still had a cozy vibe. Great for date night, business dinners, special occasions, or large event. Private room is available as well.

A surprise birthday treat. Gluten-free chocolate, espresso, flourless cake, and cheesecake.

Best steakhouse within an hour. Great service and great food here. The atmosphere is delightful. They have a handful of fantastic mixed drinks a huge array of wines. Our fillet was cooked perfectly blackened on the outside red on the inside.

I stood at the bar for 30 minutes waiting for a drink a few visits ago while the bartenders took shots with other guests and got absolutely trashed while I was waiting to be served to the point that other patrons at the bar were asking me if I needed them to get the bartenders attention to make my drink, meanwhile the staff was avoiding eye contact and refusing to acknowledge me. tonight at 9:30 they came up to my table and told us it was last call (according to google this bar closes at 12) and brought us our checks. we paid cash and they didn't bring us change- assuming you're getting tipped 66% on a table you refused to wait on is insane and I had to go inside and ask for both mine and my sisters change where I was met with eye rolls and dirty looks from the girl with the braid who had been giving us dirty looks all night. this bar is convenient for me and my sister to meet and catch up each week and to be met with such blatant disrespect is beyond disappointing. closing the bar early so you can have a private party with your friends is not an acceptable reason to kick other patrons out and it has happened times before. we will not be returning, which is disappointing to both of us.

They have a large selection of house wines as well as other brands. The server was kind but didn't seem very knowledgeable about the wine. All the dishes are enormous and meant to be shared. We shared the goat cheese with blackberry preserves and a Genoa flatbread and even with the three of us, we had a lot to take home with us. The duo and the flatbread were both incredible. The flatbread is actually two whole flatbreads and the dip was the size of a dinner plate. They were kind to get us an extra loaf of bread to go with the dip because we ran out. Their kitchen closed at 8 even though they were open until 9. That was about annoying because we considered ordering an additional dish but worked out fine since the dishes were so large.

One note, NOT a negative to me but may be noteworthy for some: I don't think Gigi's is a spot for kids or large family events with kids, unless they have a private dining space I'm unaware of. Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!
