Tasty noccino cocktail and fried brussel sprouts and mushrooms apps. The brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy with a bit of spice from the chilis. They were unfortunately so salty it was painful at times to eat but I was hungry. Otherwise I would've not finished them as they were really incredibly salty and that is something I can't remember ever saying about food in recent history. The mushrooms were fried to light crispy perfection with a sweet honey mustard sauce. Both apps made for a filling meal for one.

Being that I love to Travel I also enjoy a Fine Restaurant. Stopped at this fine establishment and was not disappointed. Went in for Brunch and was seated within 5 minutes. Server was on point and recommended the special. So to make a long story short. The food was spot on, the service was spot on and the ambiance was very relaxing. I definitely will visit again and brings my associates with me.

Great option in Little Italy for Sunday brunch recommended by a friend of mine. They had some very unique menu options like Cincinnati chili hash, which my friend had and enjoyed! I had the breakfast cheeseburger which was delicious as well! Not sure what their dinner menu is like, but the brunch menu was definitely not traditional Italian food. It also rotates seasonally! We were able to make a reservation online and we're seated as soon as we arrived. The service was friendly and fast. I would definitely go back for brunch or to try it out for dinner.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Little Italy. The food is never boring and the menu is always changing. Definitely nice to have something other than a traditional Italian restaurant around here to shake it up a bit. The owners are the sweetest as well as their staff we always feel well taken care of. I have never eaten something I haven't liked and I can't even count how many times we've visited. I love the decor, very homey and the smashburger on Thursday burger night is my favorite burger ever. Seriously. The edges are perfectly crisped and I have no clue what seasoning but *chefs kiss*!

Stopped in to this adorable spot in Little Italy for a cute date night. The space itself is intimate, with nice decor and good lighting. The service here is excellent, very attentive and kind. I really enjoyed the margeurite cocktail, a nice tequila-y mezcal-y vibe. A good twist from the classic margarita. The rainbow trout was really delicious. The fish had an amazing crispy skin you could hear when you started cutting in. The egg was cooked perfectly with a nice runny yolk. The cabbage gave great sour contrast with the richness of the rest of the dish. Overall an exceptional meal, and I look forward to returning.

The menu changes every week. To be really blunt, this place feels pretentious ("Alternations politely declined" stated on the bottom of the menu), but the food doesn't live up to being pretentious. It's decent, but not mind-blowing by any means. I came with my co-workers twice, and both times, I thought it was just okay. The first time, I tried the Bulgogi steak and cheese ($20), which was a severe disappointment, besides from the potatoes. The potatoes were crisped to perfection. The bulgogi itself? Being from California, this was just very mediocre to me. I get the novelty, but to be frank, I don't think this combination works, flavor-wise. On a side note, my friends did enjoy their trout and gnocchi, particularly the friend who had the trout. The overall presentation is also aesthetically pleasing. The second time we went, we tried their brunch menu. I tried their short rib potato scramble that came with a fried egg on top. The potatoes were very flavorless...my friend and I both asked for ketchup. The short rib itself was alright, nothing to write home about. My other friend got the french toast, and it seemed like he enjoyed his dish the most out of all of us. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back unless someone wanted me to go back with them. Otherwise, I think it's expensive for what it is and not that delicious.

Can't wait to return and try some additional items here. Fully enjoyed the Amsterdam Mussels and Trout. The ricotta donut holes were wonderful. A glass of Vino Verde made the whole meal enjoyable. Plenty of great meals on the menu. A few specials were mentioned and they sounded good as well. Once regular dining returns, this place is going in our regular rotation!

I was worried that Home Bistro would not be opening since they were still under construction at the start of quarantine. But thankfully they continued with their grand opening as scheduled! Their rainbow trout was top-notch, everything was very well seasoned and my friends also enjoyed their entrées. I would definitely invite my family here for a fancy dinner if they came to visit!

Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!

I appreciate greatly from them that you can select in your reservation which zone of the restaurant you want to sit in. Service has been very good when we've been there most recently Corinne I believe her name was was very friendly and helpful and did an amazing job managing many tables some with difficult customers. One note, NOT a negative to me but may be noteworthy for some: I don't think Gigi's is a spot for kids or large family events with kids, unless they have a private dining space I'm unaware of. Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. The chairs for example are also small so don't expect a giant family size booth here. Again these are positives to me but just notes!

So I ate it with a knife and fork. And it was DELICIOUS. The sandwich came with a big piece of crispy fried chicken that the bun could barely contain. The chicken was fried fresh, so it was hot and juicy. In addition to being hot in temperature, it was hot spice-wise. It came with candied jalapeños, soy chili jam, pickles, and Sriracha. The spice was balanced well with some nice sweetness and a tasty kale slaw that added some brightness to the sandwich. Even the bun itself was delicious. I chose hot honey sauce because I was curious. It was so spicy and cleaned my sinuses right up. The sauce came on the side, thank goodness for that. The muffin was OK. So it is clear I love Tommy's, a famous and long established healthy-ish option in Cleveland Heights, as do many others. Back when I was on keto for 2 years straight, I got their salads and now that I've been off keto for 3 years, I stop in for a milkshake or an order of fries from time to time. Parking is abundant in the free garage across the street and there is usually a wait for a table. However, I have never taken my boyfriend to Tommy's in the 2 years we have been together - every time we have tried, it's been a holiday and they are closed. However, we finally dined here for a Sunday lunch in August of 2026 and as usual, I had a 5 star experience! He did too, BTW. Tip of the day - my bf and I skipped the line by sitting at the counter which was a super win as we also got to people watch and observe the chefs at work. Yay! The menu is huge and the prices are weird but everything is yummy and fresh. My chunky butt got the "Josh" milkshake- a cookie dough and banana milkshake of delicious sugary goodness ($7.80). It's my favorite milkshake! We shared a generous order of unsalted fries ($4.99) and dipped them in malt vinegar like champions. I've had both the milkshake and fries before but ordered something new for my main. My bf then got the "silver" corned beef pita sandwich ($14.30) and I got the falafel pita sandwich ($12.10). Soooooo good! And by the time our fresh pitas came out, I was getting full so I got to bring home leftovers! Another win! I do think my bill of nearly $50 was a bit too high but we had a good time and I did recently read that the monthly rent on this place is 7k, so I can see why the prices keep going up and up. Definitely make Tommy's a stop on your itinerary if you're in Cleveland!

I followed the rules -- their rules -- to the letter. I showed up on time. The hostess greeted me with an offer of the bar or a high top. I reminded her of my reservation and its stated requirements. What followed was not an apology, not a solution, not even an acknowledgment that a commitment had been made and broken. What followed was the punishment table -- the one tucked by the front door, the one that gets a gust of cold air every time it opens, the one they keep in reserve for walk-ins who couldn't be bothered to plan ahead. That table was my reward for planning ahead. The food is good. The service staff is attentive and professional. They are not the problem. The problem lives at the front of the house, where someone decided that a confirmed reservation with documented preferences was merely a suggestion -- and that a guest who politely insisted otherwise deserved to be seated accordingly. This is not a mistake. A mistake is forgetting to note a preference. What happened here was a choice -- to ignore the request, and then to seat me in a manner that made the power dynamic unmistakably clear. I was being told, without a word being spoken, that my preferences were an inconvenience. I won't be back. Not because of the food. Not because of the servers who do their jobs with grace. But because a restaurant that treats a reservation as an obligation only when it's convenient has made its values plain. My patronage apparently required more courtesy than they were prepared to extend. The food deserves better management. Lee Road deserves better options. You've been warned.
