I hadn't been to a Morton's in about 25 years, but we decided to go for the nostalgia of it. My son ordered a steak (not sure which cut), and he absolutely loved it. We also had the shrimp cocktail, which was solid, and the bread was great. We ordered the truffle and Parmesan mashed stick fries (or something very close to that), and they were fabulous--rich, indulgent, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. I ordered a loaded baked potato that was enormous--easily the largest baked potato I've ever seen. Same with the wedge salad, which was also impressively huge. Overall, my son was happy, and I'm glad he had the experience. As for me, I had it once 25 years ago, and that was enough for me. Not being rude, I just don't eat steak but the vibe is classic solid for sure . Staple.

French onion soup, which was just a little bitter from the toasty points on top of burnt onion.

Morton's Steakhouse - Downtown Cleveland We had reservations for Morton's Steakhouse at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening in October. There were five of us in our party. Our server, Amanda, was pleasant and worked hard all evening, and throughout dinner we were also visited by Shannon, Josh, and Lindsay, who I believe were the floor managers. (There seemed to be several of them rotating through the dining room.) My first question of the night was about the little sleeping pig statue on the table. I was surprised that neither our server nor any of the managers seemed to know its story at first. Eventually, someone explained that it symbolizes leaving the restaurant "content and full, like a happy pig." I'm still undecided if that's charming or not--but at least it was memorable! The atmosphere reminded me of an old-school steakhouse where business lunches and martinis once ruled the day. Since it's connected to the casino, the crowd was mixed--everything from casually dressed guests in flip-flops to what looked like a professional sports team heading into a private dining room. We had dressed up, thinking it was a more formal experience, but that didn't seem required. For drinks, a few of us had cocktails, while others ordered tap or sparkling water. Unfortunately, our water glasses were rarely refilled throughout the meal. For appetizers, I had the French Onion Soup. The flavor was good, but it had clearly been left under the broiler too long--leaving the top layer with bitter, burnt bits of onion. My Filet Mignon (8 oz, $59) was the highlight of my entrée--tender, nicely seared, and cooked beautifully inside. I tried it with truffle butter, which was fine but not necessarily worth the hype. Dessert was both the best and most chaotic part of the evening. Two guests ordered ice cream, but we were told the ice cream maker had broken. When it finally arrived, it was more of a soft-serve consistency. Still, the bread pudding it came with was excellent--rich, flavorful, and large enough to share. Unfortunately, the service slowed to a crawl by this point. We waited nearly 30 minutes for coffee because, as we were told, it was "still dripping." By the time it arrived, we had already finished dessert and were ready to go--almost three hours after we sat down. Overall, Morton's is a beautiful restaurant with good food, but the service didn't match the high-end pricing or reputation. With multiple managers on the floor, I expected a bit more attentiveness and restaurant knowledge. Maybe it was an off night, and I'd be willing to give it another try--but next time, I'll adjust what I order and my expectations.

    Steak frites

Bavette steak frites is laughable. Comes with undercooked potato wedges even though they have fries on the menu. Ordered with bernaise that tastes like water.

My husband and I have been to Morton's multiple times for date nights and work parties and this was honestly the worst experience we've ever had. We asked our waiter about selecting a red wine and he said he would be back in "20 seconds" to consult with another colleague and he came back around 15 minutes later and said the wine was on its way. A few minutes after that, the manager brought the wine to our table and opened it for us. Our garden salad tasted wilted and stale and the dressing was too tangy. The scallops we ordered were quite small and tasted like they came out of a box. Both of our 8oz filets were so salty we couldn't finish them. We've both never had such a salty steak in our lives, it was horrible. The restaurant was almost empty with only a few tables filled and our service was still very slow. After this experience and our previous bad experience last week at their sister restaurant, Morton's Grill, we've decided this is the last dollar we will spend at this steakhouse chain. Very disappointing. Also to note: this Morton's was 0.5 miles away from our hotel and we took an Uber because we didn't feel safe walking back to the hotel at night.

Three of us made reservations to celebrate a birthday! When our waiter Max was great He was and other staff we very friendly and helpful, he also offered to get a picture and he used an actual camera then came back with the picture. The food I got was very good, I got the lobster bisque and the cold water lobster but my friends were splitting the tom-hawk ribeye and said it was over cooked, and they said that the potatoes were dry and that the cheese was overcooked. Then we got dessert two of use got the crème brûlée and my other friend got the cheesecake with blueberry's. Our reservations were for 4 right when they opened and it was very nice, there wasn't a lot of people when we got there but was more people were coming in. Our bill was about $304 dollars.

Truffle fries are too salty. They surprised me with a complimentary birthday crème brûlée however. Steaks and crab cakes were good. Oysters were on the small side most likely not in season. Meal was tasty and fun- a nice family event.

Had a perfect date night this weekend at Morton's. We started with an espresso martini and a house pinot noir. We had a wedge and house chopped salad for our first course. The honey mustard Vinaigrette on the house chopped salad is unreal! Then we had two filets which were seasoned so well and the sides were great as well. The lobster shells and cheese are worth the upgraded price. I had a lovely lemon drop martini to finish the meal. Service was friendly and sweet. We will definitely consider coming back for a date night again.

It always makes us go hmmmmmm when we have to wait on the reservation that we arrived on time. But we where seated in the back of the restaurant and greeted promptly by our waitress which seemed like a good start... we orders and waited and waited... Appetizer: Bread: onion and egg: 2 out of 5 lacked flavor Waygu meatballs 2 out of 5 Entrees: Cajun steak 4 out of 5 great seasoning. Miso Sea Bass 3 out 5 The Ambience was bright.

The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice at first, and if you're seated in the front that would definitely be a high point of your experience, but we were seated not quite in the back (which in my opinion is way too dark) but at one of the tables between the kitchen prep section and the bathrooms. The entire meal was spent watching the employees roll utensils and people waiting for the bathrooms (which were covered in... sticky... substances). After ordering, and waiting an hour for the food to come (the appetizers we ordered were not brought out in that wait, nor did we see our server the entire time) the food was overcooked to the point my burger physically hurt to hold since it was rock hard and cutting into my palm. Everything was also incredibly salty.

Good cocktails, solid atmosphere, and the kind of spot that would normally earn a regular visit. If this were just about the experience, it'd be four stars easy. But I can't in good conscience leave it there. Owner Bobby George faced serious charges including attempted murder, four counts of kidnapping, two counts of strangulation, felonious assault, and rape -- and ultimately pleaded guilty to attempted strangulation, receiving no jail time despite those original charges. Hard pass on putting dollars in that pocket. Then there's the food angle. TownHall markets itself as a health-forward restaurant, but they've gone fully seed-oil-free, cooking exclusively in beef tallow -- positioned as some wellness revolution. The Cleveland Clinic disagrees, with a cardiovascular dietitian stating beef tallow is simply not a healthy cooking choice due to its high saturated fat content. Ironic for a place selling itself as the clean-eating destination of Ohio. Good bar, bad owner, questionable food science. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
