I have been going here for 4 years, ever since "Tommy Jeffalone" and his daughter, Amanda, took it over. They have been spot-on honest and fairly priced with everything they have done. Front end repairs, brakes, even stored my car for 3 months while I recovered from surgery, at no charge on their lot. The place is extremely busy, that should tell you a-lot. I used to work "in the business" 30 years ago, I can spot a "salesman" and the real-deal mechanic. These people are "the real-deal." Highly recommended, and I send them my friends and family. my advice to ALL is NEVER purchase any behicles from this place. I put $6000 on 2019 honda accord. the first week the car wouldn't start and all warnings were flashing and there was a rattling under the car they then brought the car back and the invoice read that they found a can of glass cleaner under my seat implying that there was no rattling i was told that two mechanics drove tje car. i had to go back and forth with them until they finally sent someone two weeks later to ride with me and he heard the noise as well turns out it was something rattling i also mentioned that the brakes were squeaking and they claimed the brake system is new i had to cancel my road trip because i of this issue. I have been on the phone with this place every week since i purchased this vehicle they only replaced the battery and reset the warnings now the week before labor day the car is not starting again all warnings are back on again had called all last week no one returned my call. I sent Dave the salesman (the worst) pics of every warning on the car no one responded I had to cancel yet another weekend due to this vehicle i had to wait until tuessay to speak to someone about the car issues because no one would take my call on saturday now it's Tuesday after lunch time no one called me back i had to call them and they're telling me i have to get the car out to queensbury (it wont start) and the simply said to me "Good luck with that" i hvw not had this car for two months and it's been nothing but a problem and the were procrastinating to go over the 30 days i should known better when Dave the salesman lied about the mileage on the vehicle he told me there was 99k on the Honda i go to sign the paperwork it states that the vehicle had 118k on the car he said he didn't know STILL SITTING HERE WAITING FOR A CALL DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! read more

Absolutely Horrible Experience - Beware Before Buying My car buying experience from the Car shoppe has been nothing short of a nightmare. Less than a year after purchasing, multiple trusted garages informed me that the unibody of the vehicle was completely rusted and detaching from the frame--a serious safety issue that did not happen in a year. Every mechanic agreed: this vehicle should never have been sold to anyone in that condition let alone passed a NYS inspection After months of back and forth, I filed a complaint with the BBB and a DMV inspector got involved. Eventually, the dealership towed the car ( approximately 50- back to their location) and acknowledged the damage in person. They assured me the original loan would be written off and placed me in a new vehicle. Me being naive I trusted them. But behind my back, they told the GMC lender (AmeriCU) that the original car had been abandoned on their property--completely false, as they were the ones who picked it up. The original loan was never canceled. Meanwhile, I was left unknowingly responsible for two car loans as a single parent on a tight budget. To make things worse, they responded to my original BBB complaint saying the matter was resolved - the case under that false pretense. As a result, I'm now in serious financial distress, my credit score has dropped drastically, and I'm stuck paying for a car that can not safely be driven. I would have never agreed to another loan if I had known thefirst wasn't taken care of as they promised. Please learn from my experience: do not trust this dealership, get in writing or record your conversations. Whatstarted as a car purchase turned into a financial and emotional disaster. What a scam business. I bought my Nissan SUV 2019 from Adam. He is a smooth talker and like a fool I did not check the reviews on this rip off car place. Brought the car in one week after buying it, with good down payment and gave them my car which needed repairs this big paper weight had hidden transmission problems. Brought it back twice to dealer site. The stated they looked it over found nothing wrong. I told them it made a squeaking nose when I turned right or left and shifting into drive was sticky. So 3rd time i spoke to repair shop they stated, bring it in. I travel 40 miles one way each time. Again they stated nothing wrong that they can find. So 5months down the road I'm driving down the Northway, car starts pulling like I had no control, engine is now squealing and I'm not getting any power It pulled me almost into another vehicle. I was lucky enough to get to exit pulled in and shut it off. Now the engine is squealing loudly and I cannot even move the car forward or backward. Come to find out when diagnosed by a reputable garage my transmission is completely inoperable. Cost to fix at the tune of 9,000. dollars. They stated this transmission had been faulty and had a lot of metal flakes in Called the Car shoppe spike to Adam. Asked if they would tow it back to shop. They said absolutely not. I stated I wanted it repaired. Adam said "you bought, your problem. " oh ... then laughed at me when I told him you sold me a defective car. I bought this car for $21,000 plus my Subaru Outback. Now I have a 21,000 dollar paper weight. DO NOT BUY A car from them. STAY AWAY so called car dealership. This scam of a place is notorious for misleading sales tactics, undisclosed issues after purchase (like transmission failure, engine failure, brake/computer problems), Read ALL the horrendous reviews. I've reported them to Attorney General, better business bureau and have been advised to retain a lawyer for selling me a car with undisclosed transmission issues. They lie to you to get you to their shop then change their story. I am disabled and had to drive an hour and a half to get to them. Only reason I did was because they guaranteed they could get me in a car with no down payment and I was only there 10 minutes before they said they could not help me without a down payment. Horrible Experience, to the point of being called scum bags for asking questions and requesting the return of a vehicle and the money we put down, refused to contact the owner of the dealership about this issue and was rude and derogatory to our faces in front of other customers as they refused to talk or do anything about us acquiring back our vehicle we had placed in trade for a car that we were told we had been approved gave us the keys and let us leave the lot with our new car then they call 3 days later saying to return the car we were denied the loan, refused to give us time to get the car back to them would of rather seen us drive in a snow storm then be safer the following day then sent a tow truck to repo the new car and have now refused to return our down payment and previous vehicle because the owner wasnt available. they can collect there property but we aren't allowed to collect ours back on the buying agreement that no longer was valid. and as we walked out calling the cops to get a better law side understanding, they proceeded to yell and call us typical Vermont scumbags. and thats only brushing the surface of excuses we have received not to mention all the other denial stories they said. read more

The worst car dealership in the North country. My boyfriend bought a 2010 Ford truck from these people. In the four months that we have had the truck the rear end is still not fixed, the manfold is still not fixed. Wow people. They sold us a lemon truck. We have asked for detail summary from the mechanic, but he refused. We have reported them to the better business bureau. They need to step up and fixed this truck or find us another truck. I brought a vehicle from this place about 6 months ago. When I test drove the truck, the engine light was on. They told me they would fix it before I picked it up to drive it home. I picked it up, the engine light was off, and it had a fresh inspection. Around 50 miles later, the engine light came back on due to the SAME problem to begin with. I bring it back, they said they fixed it AGAIN. I pick my vehicle up and I have the same problem. The engine light was cleared and a few miles later it came back on for the SAME problem. I continue to bring it back for the THIRD time as now it's reading TWO codes and they tell me the misfire (it read the preious two times) is not coming up as a code but it needs a new catalytic converter which is now the SECOND code. They inspected my vehicle ILLEGALLY as they never truly fixed my engine light to begin with... Due to the fact that they didn't fix the misfire TWICE, my cat is now no good. When I ask them what they did to my vehicle before I purchased it they wrote me a list (not even a real work order) and no where on there did it say ANYTHING about fixing a misfire... When I asked what they did to it the SECOND time it was there, they tell me they have "no records" of it being there. read more
