I had a terrible experience with The Carpet Chemist and would NOT recommend them to anyone. During their visit, they severely scratched the molding on one of my arches leading into the formal living room. In the den, they ripped the bottom of our new sofa as it looks like they forced their machine underneath. To make matters worse, their equipment leaked and left a large stain on our new fine area rug. I tried multiple times to contact them to resolve these issues, but they never returned my calls and clearly avoided responding. I even drove to the address listed for them, only to find that they don't have a published street number for that location, making it impossible to reach anyone in person. This company damaged multiple items in my home and made no effort to correct their mistakes. Completely unprofessional and extremely disappointing. The owner, Brandon C, is exceedingly rude. Apparently he rang my doorbell; however, unbeknownst to me, my doorbell was malfunctioning. When I texted him to let him know that I saw their van in my driveway and now it was gone, he replied they were here for 16 minutes, rang the doorbell and no one answered. When I replied that my doorbell must not be working and to please knock, he texted, "Fix your doorbell." I told him this isn't the way to speak to a customer to which he responded, "I'm declining this job." He will not respond to my phone calls. Go somewhere else! Without a doubt, this is a five star company. I've owned a carpet cleaning company in the past, over-worked a method to remove a stain and actually removed carpet dye at a lady's house. Brandon was able to save me from having to replace the lady's entire floor of carpets (she had to have it all match). He was able to dye the carpet stain/spot to an exact match. Saved me a lot of money. And I was his competitor at the time. Now I'm nothing but a huge fan! read more

I booked online after talking with the owner, who had agreed to dye several bleach spots going up my stairs and had given an estimate of the cost. Then immediately after booking, the owner (I assume) called to tell me they were not interested in doing the job and were taking me off the schedule, then disconnected my call. I'm removing them from my contact list so that I never make the mistake of calling them again. read more

Beware, these people do not stand behind their work! They charged me $1000 for 2-1/2 hours of work and then refused the follow up when we complained that we were unhappy. History: I had made an appointment to have some bleach spots removed a week ahead of time. They day came May 1, 2018 but Brandon called and said they would have to reschedule for the next week. They came the following Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 1PM. The original quote of $500-$600 based on my photos quickly turned to $1200 and I still had to pay $185 to clean 4 rooms. I said I could buy new carpet for that! They finally agreed to clean my carpets and dye the offending spots for $1000. Before I agreed I said let's do one spot. I was impressed with the color match and told them to continue. They were done by 3:30 PM and packed in a hurry so I didn't have time to really inspect their work. (That's pretty good pay for 2-1/2 hours work...) When it was wet it looked good. So I paid them cash and he and his wife left. The next day the offending spots became more visible as the areas dried and my wife was not happy. What did we pay $1000 for she asked? When I requested Brandon the owner to come back and redo the spots that were still visible he said it would cost $150 more for him to come out! He refused to come back to redo the spots unless I paid him again... Enough said! We should have just bought new carpet! read more

Brandon was definitely Johnnie on the "spot"! He helped us talk through different scenarios and ultimately it worked out Perfectly! He is very honest and a hard worker! Tanya, was also great, and she started the process by answering all my questions and concerns. Brandon, first pieced together a remnant, and also dyed some spots, and then cleaned the rest of the carpet, to make it complete!
