I called the carpet guy on Tuesday(?) to clean our carpet on Friday. They were on time & also called ahead to ask if we were ready. They were professional, friendly & the price quoted over the phone, was the same price when they arrived. We had one room that had horrible stains. They were honest about possibly not getting all the stains out- or maybe faint stains would still be there. I appreciated that & I really appreciate how hard they worked to get all of the stains out. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! I hired them to seal my tile floors and grout. Whatever method they used only sealed the floors. When I called about it I got the run around, maybe we will gave to redo them. I told the owner that from all the research I have done the way the did it was not correct. His response was just because we didn't do it like you think we should doest me its the wrong way. I requested a portion of my money back since they did half the job. The gentleman they sent out to look at the issue advised that they could do it again however the way they sealed would not provide me with results I was seeking...He said he would talk to the manager to see if I could get a portion of my money back. Most likely cause NO JOKE , from start to finish it took these yahoos only 30 minutes.. 30 damn minutes to do a 2200SF single story. I would never ever use this company again. Dont use this company unless you have all day to wait for them. I had a morning appointment and they didnt show up until after 3:00 p.m. Some of the spots that I wanted cleaned didnt come out of the carpet. The employees were very accommodating but I was already pissed at the time it took for them to arrie and then the cost changed from the time I spoke with the person on phone to the time they arrived. The pre conditioning is a waste of time and money if you dont use a scrubber to get the stain up. I would advise you to try another company. You will have the same regret that I have. I will repost another review once the carpet dries.. I am reposting one week since the carpet was clean and I have to admit they did a great job. The carpet still looks good and the spots that were visible are not noticiable. After a month, all spots reappeared. Oh way, its time to get rid of the carpet. read more

We've used Perez multiple times. We have cats and dogs and need to clean the carpets at least every three months. I'm writing this review now because I went against my better judgment and used another company on a friend's referral. The other guy I used chastised us for having dirty carpets! Um, that's why you're here! We were also lectured on needing to clean the carpets more. The man was not pleasant and seemed to be bothered by us paying him to work. Lesson learned! Stick with who you know and their work! On a better note, TCG's team have always been pleasant and honest. We know our carpets are dirty- we have animals. Needed the carpets cleaned before we moved out and saw an ad in the penny saver so decided to try them. They did a great job & the carpets looked better than they did when we moved in! It took a while for the carpets to dry but we already had everything out of the house so I didn't care. I pulled the couch forward to get the back (as I usually do) then they push it back to get the high traffic area in front. NOT this time. I LOvE The Carpet Guy services I call them about every six months. They have the best price and work fast and they always do a great job on my ten year old carpet it always looks fresh and brand spanking new thanks to Steve & Chris they use my water but they're done so fast that it really isn't a big deal. I have three teenage boys a husband that always forgets to take off his shoes two dogs & a cat so my carpet get dirty fast I am constantly vacuuming & spot cleaning with my personal steamer my stair case is the hardest to keep clean and some-how they make the entire carpet practically sparkle in 15 to 20 Minutes. I had The Carpet Guy clean my carpet 8.21.21 & my carpet still look nice. I've had my carpet clean twice before this & I wasn't satisfied. The first two times the carpet looked clean when they left but days later the dirt came back up. The two guys that did the work said "let it air dry, no fan, no heater & try not to walk on it for six hours" I must say it did the job!
