The food was authentic, unique, and combined in palette awakening plates. Our meal featured: House made Palermo wine: full flavored, semi-dry made without additives Homemade Hummus & Vinaigrette Beets: Garnished with fresh, vibrant pesto. Ancient Grain Bread Board: In-house breads paired with EVOO seasoned with fresh herbs. Korean Beef Stew: Deeply savory, featuring tender, authentically seasoned beef over mashed potatoes (or ancient bread cubes), garnished with homemade kimchi. Dessert: Pistachio, almond or vanilla panna cotta (sells out fast). The sheer amount of care, prep, and scratch-cooking that goes into this menu makes it a standout restaurant in Northeast PA. Enjoy the artsy decor, hospitality and uniquely combined scratch prepared foods...overall a great dining experience.

Menu changes often, but the house made bread was amazing with cheese, smoked salmon crostini, roasted carrots with pecans, garlic shrimp over coconut rice, sausage and meatball, chicken francese, and a cornbread dessert! Recommend it all! For those who don't like wine try the cranberry sparkling wine! Thanks for the best dinner in a really long time!

A beautiful venue offering delicious Balkan food, genuinely friendly service and an amazing wine…read morelist (including bottles from far-flung countries like Croatia, Slovenia and Georgia), Oda Wine Garden is a uniquely wonderful place. They have an outdoor dining space with beautiful flowers as well as an indoor dining room well decorated with interesting art work. It was a busy night but our server was warm, welcoming and attentive. My glass of Croatian rose wine was well balanced, fruity and a nice pour. Partner's cocktail "Illyrian Beauty" was scrumptious and served straight up (rather than overly diluted with ice, a pet peeve of mine). Shrimp with feta cheese starter was a pleasant surprise, the shrimp bathed in a green sauce made with fresh arugula and garlic. Slices of homemade bread came in handy to mop up that yummy sauce. Half chicken topped with pomegranate and corn was tasty and succulent, came with a generous side of lemon potatoes and well dressed greens. My branzino, a well crisped filet topped with a delicate lemony sauce and healthy greens on the side, was the best preparation of the dish I've ever enjoyed - seriously! It's too easy to ruin this delicate fish, but Oda elevated it to new culinary heights. We will definitely stop by again and again. Hint: They're popular so reservations are a good idea. So happy to have Oda in the area!

We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. Our server was amazing and even offered us a ride to Shenanigans, which was unexpected but so nice.

I ordered the broiled seafood which came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. I loved it. My husband got prime rib. It was fine just as he asked but it was only lukewarm. For dessert, I got the vanilla cake with brown butter bourbon sauce, which comes with vanilla ice cream. It was good but I wish it had more sauce on it. My husband got ice cream topped with amaretto and he got 3 full scoops of ice cream! I also got decaf coffee and she made a fresh pot for me, which I appreciated. We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.

The service was impeccable- it's truly a family feeling among the staff, who are super attentive. The wine menu is extensive- all varieties of red and white, plus some original blends (Vito's Secco- a dry white blend- was my favorite!). You can try a flight, buy by the glass or a bottle, and even take a few bottles home! All super reasonably priced. The meatballs to start tasted like my Italian grandma's- homemade and authentic. The whipped ricotta was also good. Recommend that you call ahead with a reservation and let them know how many pizza doughs you'd like. Pizza is thin crust, indoor pizza oven style so 1 per 1-2 people. It was perfectly cooked- we had a meat lovers, a spicy honey pepperoni, and one with ricotta and spinach. The best part of the experience was chatting with Vito! He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and truly wants to entertain you like family!
