We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. First time trying this place for my friends bachelor party and it didn't disappoint. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive so service was 10/10. The calamari was underwhelming in size and flavor but the house bread was delicious. The best sides were the truffle mac and cheese and truffle fries. The side carrots and potatoes were pretty middle of the road wouldn't waste time with those next time. The steak itself was solid, cooked right and tasted good, I was surprised the ribeye was $68 though that's NYC pricing and we're no where near NYC. The best part of the night was the dessert! Tonight 11 native NYers went to a Steak house in the Poconos and not one iota of a complaint . Absolutely delicious food . My husband and I got the surf and turf , exquisite . My kids were so overjoyed with their kids menu (the cheese burger was the size of my daughter's head!) everyone loved their meals . The desserts were great also . The creme brûlée was top notch! Honestly shockingly bad experience. I have heard really good reviews but when me and my buddies came for a bachelor party diner it was severely disappointing. We arrived on time and were seated within 5-10 minutes which was great. They took our drink orders shortly and we didn't get any of our drinks (alcohol) for about 45-50 minutes and they had only gotten 10/12 of the drink orders out and they said they had to re tap a keg to finish getting the remaining drinks the waitress came back about 10 minutes later didn't say anything about the missing drinks and my one friends asked are the other drinks coming. She with an attitude said like I said they are retapping the keg 5 minutes go by and she comes out and says we're out of that beer actually what else do u want. Couple of appetizers started coming out about 1.5 hours after getting there and I personally like overcooked crispy calamari but it wasn't well liked by anyone else, lack of flavor, dry, and the sauce were the source of there reasons. Meals started coming out around 2 hours after we were seated and they weren't timed well one person got their steak 5 minutes before anyone else and then some meals took up to 20 minutes after the first plate came out. The one steak was legit raw and obviously had no quality control and had to be sent back even the waitress noticed it was purple. When it was returned it still wasn't fully cooked and looked like they just reheated it in the microwave or something. They kept saying we're closing for renovations in two weeks as some sort of excuse for giving us bad service.Considering they have a mandatory 20% service charge added for a tip. I was very very disappointed along with everybody else in my group. Side notes - bathroom was really cramped and the stall door will hit u if you're using the urinal. Lights in our room kept fluttering on and off for no reason even the waitress noticed and was wondering why. We agreed to pay on one bill but asked at the beginning if we would be able to get an itemized bill so we could each see what we spent and pay the person using the card. She said we don't do them, and at end of meal we were given one, so I'm not really sure why she would say that. In my opinion the waitress had no reason to give us high quality service we automatically got a 20% tip asked to our bill because of the size of the party. She took advantage of that and still got rewarded with a $ $221 tip. 1108 before tip and taxes over 1382 after tip and taxes. Funny enough our group is the type to over tip with good service so she more than likely missed out on an extra 50-75$. I'm giving it a 2 and not one because my steak was good and most people were satisfied with their meals besides the raw steak. read more

Far and away the best restaurant in the area and one of the best steakhouses we have been to anywhere. To start, the service was incredible. Our waitress was so polite and kind, explained the menu to us, checked on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 service; could not have asked for anything better The food was outstanding. We ordered one Delmonico steak and one "broadway" with filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare, served at the right temperature, and seasoned masterfully. To add on, the sides that we ordered of fries, whipped potatoes, and Brussel sprouts were very delicious as well. To any reviews criticizing the food, we must have been eating at different restaurants because our food was a 10/10! We will definitely be coming back upon any return trips to lake harmony. We had a delightful time! We were out with another couple and we all decided to have the steak. We started with scallop ceviche And calamari . Then aged steaks for the guys and queen size prime rib for the ladies. Each of the steaks were cooked to perfection! Rare was rare and med was medium! Cream of spinach and button mushrooms for the sides. The steaks were pretty lean. Nice size that we had to have doggy bags. The meal was so delicious that we had no room for dessert. We have eaten in restaurants all over the world and between the superb service, excellent, unfussy menu and general atmosphere of the place, it rivals some of the best restaurants from New York to Vienna Excellent cocktails, and desserts that should not be missed. We had a group of 9 or 10 so they sat us in our own room which was great. The staff was prompt and accurate with our orders. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious! unfortunately i did not get a good look around the place since our private room was right near the entrance but everything seemed clean and orderly inside. The staff was super nice, and very professional. I ordered a 30 day dry-aged NY Strip which was delicious! not much fat and very juicy even when cooked medium-well. I also got the Parmesan truffle fries which were fantastic, my mouth is watering now just thinking about the meal. The cocktails were strong, the meat was awesome, the staff was cool. Wow, second time here. The service is the best I have ever experienced. Thanks to Brianna and the rest of the staff. I explained what steak I liked and Brianna suggested dry aged Kansas City rib eye. Perfectly cooked and charred outside. Fresh asparagus, risotto and a lovely Cabernet sauvignon set the steak off beautifully. I did start with fresh oysters. So good! The service was great. Our server was Brianna. She was very professional. These are hard times with the COVID-19 virus, and these woman are doing a great job. We dined outside and the tents were set up so that every family was at least 6-10 feet from each other. Food came out at a reasonable time. Parking was not a problem. My ONLY issue is that our straws were not in their paper , they were already open and in our drinks. This should be worked on. The food was very good and nice portions. Came here last night while on Vacation in the area. Did some research ahead of time and this place seemed to be most consistent in reviews, which I would agree with. We started with the French Onion soup to split between me and my wife. Soup was excellent. Just salty enough to have enough flavor but not be overbearing, onions were cooked perfectly. I ordered a Filet cooked medium and my wife got a NY Strip cooked medium well. The Filet was excellent, great flavor and very tender. The NY Strip left a little to be desired. Felt a little overcooked and was much tougher than the Filet. This is to be slightly expected because of the cut of meat, but the Filet was leaps and bounds better. I'd imagine the dry aged ribeye (I did not see this on any online menu, but was available there) is a bit better of a cut compared to the NY Strip for a similar price. We also got sides - Macaroni and Cheese and Loaded Mashed Potatoes. Both were good but nothing to write home about. The wife got caramelized onions on the side for her steak and she seemed to enjoy them. The sides did their job and for the price you can easily split them between two people. Splitting them increases the value for your money, but I wasn't wow'ed by the flavor on either one. We also ordered a bottle of wine for $35 and before tip our total was $210. If you're going to a place like this, you should expect this type of a price. Steak - 5/5 Sides - 3.5/5 for 1 person, 4/5 if you're splitting them Service - 4/5 Excellent steak, sides were still good just not great. Service was fine but the waitress wasn't as friendly as I'd prefer for the price of the meal. That's being a little nitpicky but just my experience. She also seemed annoyed when we asked to split our bill with the other people we were with, which I guess might be tacky at an upscale place, but I've never had a problem in other similarly priced restaurants. Overall 4.5/5. Would definitely go back if we are back in the area. Giving them the nod for the half point to a 5/5. read more

We enjoyed all the meat platters and sides. Oysters were very fresh. Prime Rib and filet minion were extremely tender and cooked to request. The creamed spinach and asparagus were cooked just right. The slab of bacon was really a good starter. As for the French onion soup, loved all the cheese on top but I thought there was too much bread in the dish itself, which made it too thick for my preference. The only thing I can ding Louie's for is a lack of dress code. I took my beautiful girlfriend there for Valentine's Day, dressed for the occasion, and was disappointed seeing diners wearing baseball hats and even t-shirts. That should not be allowed in a restaurant that charges upwards of $70 for an entree and pays enough attention to detail so as to create roses with the napkins. All they would have to do is place a sign saying "no, baseball hats or t-shirts, and jackets preferred in the main dining room". That being said, the food is incredible. Their Prime Rib is to die for, along with their au gratin potatoes and desserts. I still give 5 stars because of their kitchen. I love this place and will definitely be back. read more

For cocktails my husband had the Peach Bellini, and I had the honey lemon Margarita, the best margarita I have had in years! For the food, I ordered the aged Ribeye medium rare with one of the side sauce options, roasted garlic shallot butter, and a side of button mushrooms.
