Broiled seafood, fingerling potatoes, asparagus and dinner rolls
    Judy S.

Came for Friday night dinner and sat at the bar, which was our choice. The service was very good. We never felt ignored. Our needs were always met. Drinks were superb. I ordered the broiled seafood which came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. I loved it. My husband got prime rib. It was fine just as he asked but it was only lukewarm. For dessert, I got the vanilla cake with brown butter bourbon sauce, which comes with vanilla ice cream. It was good but I wish it had more sauce on it. My husband got ice cream topped with amaretto and he got 3 full scoops of ice cream! I also got decaf coffee and she made a fresh pot for me, which I appreciated. We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.

Food was delicious, def better than my expectations. Flavor was on point, steak was tender. Zero complaints.

We made reservations here on Friday night for my sister's bachelorette dinner! Such a cute beautiful place inside and out! Dinner was pretty early we pretty much had the downstairs dining to ourselves. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, service was top notch! Drinks and food were delicious! I'm really glad we came here. Had such an amazing time! Don't miss out definitely try it here you won't be disappointed!

Everything premium. From the Italian margarita to the Nueske's thick cut blackberry glazed bacon appetizer to the medium rare Delmonico steak and bacon Brussels sprouts and finishing with Carrot cake dessert. Add a bottle of Barossa Shiraz for the perfect evening. We were attended to like we were their only customers. Thank you so very much for the special evening.

    Blue cheese Wedge Salad

Tonight 11 native NYers went to a Steak house in the Poconos and not one iota of a complaint . Absolutely delicious food . My husband and I got the surf and turf , exquisite . My kids were so overjoyed with their kids menu (the cheese burger was the size of my daughter's head!) everyone loved their meals . The desserts were great also . The creme brûlée was top notch! Definitely get the crostini crab dip appetizer . My dad loved his fried artichoke and my step mom loved her blue cheese wedge salad . The true shining star for tonight though was the service . We had David and he was incredible. I was nervous to come with my small kids especially my little one w ASD, but he was amazing, compassionate, and extremely kind . We wanted for nothing . Definitely recommend .

Surprised wife & sis visiting from Texas with a birthday dinner here. The Crab Au Gratin had super colossal crab meat in it - soo good! The filet & scallops were cooked perfectly. Dave was the best & will ask for him next time. Let them know it was a double b-day celebration & they were perfect with a low key add to the desert with happy birthday & the two candles & made mention when Dave first greatest us. Bottles of wine reasonable priced. This place is definitely on our rotation & wishes we had stopped here 20 years sooner!

This was sold as a fine dining restaurant with fine dining pricing to match. We arrived dressed nicely while on a girls trip. Rachel did a good job waiting on us but other patrons were in swimsuits and tank tops. The food came out at different times. It was not bad but not great for the higher pricing structure. Disappointed

We loved this steak house. The variety is great and the portions are greater! Highly recommend!

We have bragged and brought friends to share this spot with them. We have noticed the past couple of years the service has gone down, prices of drinks have really gone up, and the drinks we loved have been removed off the menu. We went last night to give them a try and will not be going back. For a small menu selection to begin with they were sold out of several items. If the place opens at 4 PM, how are you sold out at 7 PM? We ordered a small plate to share as an appetizer. And we each ordered a shared plate for our dinner. My husband got a special which was halibut with crab. The portion was so small. $32 for this plate. It was ridiculous. Four slices of zucchini were on the side. I got the gnocchi and it was a very small portion. We could not get over how small the portion was and how expensive this place is. Not worth it anymore! We were wondering if there was a change in management over the past couple years because whatever is being done now is taking that place down fast. The only thing they have going for them is that waterfall view

The murder mystery itself was the highlight, the storyline was engaging, and the actors were clearly well-trained in improv and very kind. Murder Mystery: 8/10 The room was fairly standard, what you'd expect in an old-timey house. No TV or modern extras, but there were plenty of charging outlets, which was appreciated. Room: 7/10 The food during the stay was incredibly disappointing. Most of it felt like reheated microwave meals. Breakfast included eggs, bacon (very thin, broken pieces), cubed potatoes that were oddly watery, ham slices, stale danishes, cereal cups, and a parfait option that had run out by our 9am time slot. Dinner was similar in quality. I chose the cheese ravioli, but despite being second in line, it was cold. The same watery potatoes from breakfast were served again, along with green beans. The only highlight was the coffee, which was good. Food: 2/10 Unfortunately, the parking situation is very poor. There are only 5-6 spots directly outside and a few more up the hill behind the carriage house. I was dropped off at check-in and informed staff that my boyfriend would be arriving late. I was assured there would be parking available and that staff would be present 24/7 to assist him. However, I woke up to a call from him saying he couldn't find parking. I went downstairs to get help, but no staff could be found. Not wanting to disturb other guests, I eventually gave up, and he had to park on the street in the neighborhood on top of the hill overnight. At breakfast, we were briefly told about additional parking behind the carriage house, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue from the night before, nor any attempt to make it right. Parking: 1/10 The staff overall seemed inexperienced and, at times, unprofessional. While I empathize with younger staff members, there were several uncomfortable moments--such as hearing an employee joke about "killing" another staff member over a small mistake, and staff walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to ask follow-up questions. Staff: 4/10 Overall, there were some enjoyable elements, especially the murder mystery, but the experience didn't quite match the price point. With a few key improvements, this could be a much more worthwhile stay.

I HIGHLY recommend doing a Murder Mystery night or weekend at The Harry Packer Mansion! They specialize in farm to table and healthy food. Our plans before were running long but luckily their reservation policies were flexible enough that I had no problem moving my time, even on such a busy day. The restaurant was POPPING when we arrived around 4:30. We were seated promptly. The only downside to our experience was that the table was SUPER shaky and wobbly. We asked our waitress for a shim or piece of paper to steady the table but she informed us it was the table head itself, not the legs, so nothing could be done. I was not thrilled about this but assumed that these were tables they hauled out of storage to accommodate the holiday demand, so I can understand. Our server was very warm and friendly despite the chaos. Prices are on the high side but the quality is good and the portions are large. I went for the lobster cobb which was a special and it was LOADED with lobster meat. They really heaped it on. A little light on the avocado, but overall it was really wonderful. My mother went for a seafood scallop risotto which I also tried. It was creamy and flavorful. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe, and our server was good about getting our check. One thing I really liked was that they put which dishes on the menu are over 500 calories, and most were under. A lovely, healthy dining choice with a nice ambiance. I'd return!
