While in the area was looking for a local place having karaoke and we found this place on Yelp which was surprisingly 10 minutes from our hotel in an unassuming strip mall. It has a small outdoor covered area in the front with tables. Was a very cute venue inside with tons of different craft beers on tap and in cans/bottles in a huge open refrigerated case and they also served food. We sat at a table and a server came over and pointed to a card on the table with a SKU code to scan for the menu and said orders were placed at the bar. I had wished that the servers took our order at the table as I really didn't want to scream my order over all the bar patrons. Anyway, I went up to the bar and the bartender/server acknowledged me and took my order and she brought it to our table fairly quickly. They said it was free refills on soda which was great. The karaoke set up was great and the DJ was engaging. We enjoyed all of the singers. It wasn't super crowded so there was room to move and you didn't have to push past people or squeeze through a crowd to get to the bar or the restroom which I appreciated. Wife and I were in town for a volleyball tournament. Stayed at the Hilton next to the pub. We had been searching for that one stop craft beer place. This place has over 200 different craft beers that you can purchase in mix n match 6 packs. So many styles and brands to choose from. Lots of Tennesse choices, North Carolina beers, and even several Alabama local beers. 28 different taps to choose from. They offer flights samples as well. They do serve food, however I didnt eat any. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable staff, clean enviroment, and easy to locate right off of highway 40. So on your way to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg for your family vacation I would highly reccomend buying you beer here to put in your hotel fridge and even some to take home with you. Once in these towns the selections are limited and more expensive. It is very hard to locate any good mix n match beer in this area. Restuarants only sell a few choices beer lovers! We stopped by after Biden was named the Incoming President. There was a chick setting at the bar who started in on how happy she was, and argued with my wife about where our country might be going. She was rude and offensive (believe I can take offensive). Then another patron started in AND GERE ID THE KICKER: the bartender joined in the conversation and as far as a paying customer that was enough. My feelings are: why spend money at a establishment that doesn't want our business based on our political opinions. You all can visit the establishment all you want, but I refuse to spend my money in a place like this. I feel this emboldened citizens are just the beginning of where we are headed. SAD!!! read more

The beer selection here is fantastic. They have around 27 beers on tap plus a huge take home selection. Service was fantastic. The bartender had great recommendations for food and beer. We waited led 25 minutes in line (5 parties in front of us) as this is a "pub style" ordering system (no waiters/Waitresses). We ordered an appetizer and 4 beers (no way we were waiting an additional 25 minutes for second round). Beers were 1/2 head and half beer. While waiting , server asked owner for some help, he said no (clear perception owner doesn't care) We took our time (1 hour) and the appetizer (pretzel with beer dip) had not yet arrived. Folks sitting next to us had been there an additional 1/2 hour and stated they were still waiting on appetizer (chips and salsa). We payed it forward and gave our table number (deliver cue for our pretzel) to our neighbor. Came in here twice when I was in town last month. Servier Co has come a long way. Used to be dry and Alfs was the only place to get (legal) alcohol. I wanted to get beers I cant get up here in Ohio. They have a great selection. Pizza was on special so we got that. Only gripe is the bartender girl didn't know too much about beer but that's OK. Also, if there is more than 3 people in the place it takes a while to get beers from the bar and 6 out of the 12 beers I bought to-go were all past date. Selling old beer in crappy. The cooler area is well stocked as is the walls lined with cans and bottles. You can take home a medium or large jug of the beers on tap with the prices depending on the beer. I was so happy to find this place while we were on vacation there this past weekend! My fiancé and I are craft beer seekers and found out about The Casual Pint from a helpful bartender over at the Mellow Mushroom. We were able to purchase several mix and match six packs of new beer to take back home with us as well as try new ones at the bar there. I stopped in here on my way across I-40 and subsequent stay at a nearby hotel. The place is small and is not a "pickup bar." It does, however, have a great atmosphere if you love beer and very knowledgeable staff. I warn the reader that maps applications route you to the right side of the road while traveling south. The place is on the left next to the Hampton Inn. It's across the street from Zaxby's and Starbucks. If you're looking for a place to drink a fine craft beer and have some good conversation, this is your place.
