Pluses: The food was very good. I had the Shepherd Pie which tasted authentic. Came out hot with minimal wait time. My wife had the Reuben w Corn Beef and she said it was delicious. Generous portions so it was a good value. Things I didn't mind but my wife was cautious about (minuses): This is a traditional Irish pub so it was a little darkly lit w 2 pool tables in the back. We arrived about 6pm on Friday night w few people there yet (hours are from 11am to 3am so this place looks like it comes alive later). I had read a few reviews so I went directly to the bar for menus seeing no waitresses. One of the bartenders was prompt and took our order after we had reviewed the menu (from our table). It was an enjoyable dinner. Overall, I would eat here again. It is worth getting off the beaten path for this place. A number of good beers on tap also. It is a pub! Great food & atmosphere! The Reuben Rolls are DELICIOUS! The parmesan cheese on top is a little weird and unnecessary, but it is easily wiped off. Hubby ended up getting the sampler as his meal just so he could have more and try more things. The fried pickles are great. The beer cheese is top notch. The wings...were okay. They were very soft. I like my wings crisp. If I were to get more, I'd ask for them well done. I got the fish & chips. I think serving it on brown paper that can absorb grease so the fries aren't sitting in grease would elevate the order, but both them and the fish were VERY GOOD. I would rate this place a solid 4 on the food. We got appetizers (wings, Reuben rolls, and fried pickles) and split a French dip. All the food was good. But the service was nonexistent. We had to seat ourselves, but then we had no menus. Finally found a server and got menus. He told us that we could order from anyone on the floor - but the servers were literally indistinguishable from the clientele, so that one person who we talked to was the only team member we could recognize. We finally resorted to placing additional orders at the bar and we paid there bill at the bar, too. All in all I won't be making a special trip for this. This local haunt, is exactly what you need on a hot day of shopping through Sevierville and pigeon forge. You walk in it's nice and dark it's nice and cool and it's a true pub. Belly up to the bar have a nice cold beer get some conversation with the locals. It's a great sports venue to watch the game. It may be a little hard to find out the beaten track but the locals like it that way LOL. read more

Depending on what you're looking for this place could go a few ways. Before 8pm-ish you should consider it a pub/restaurant that is no problem to bring a family. After 8pm-ish it is strictly a bar and you should NOT consider bringing a family. We visited on a Wednesday around 2pm with 6 year old in tow. Honestly the place surpassed my expectations and we were pleased. The bartender/server was very friendly, quick, efficient, and we wanted for nothing. The burgers were both fantastic, and the beers were cheap and cold. They even had a kids menu. If you're in the area, looking for a no frills, no wait service, this is your spot. I had the corn beef reuben with onion rings, the food was amazing. I also had a Bloody Mary and it was the best Bloody Mary I have had in a long time. It was a Saturday night with football going on so I was very patient as there was only one server for the whole place. My husband is a professional musician who booked a gig at The Roaming Gnome months ago. Everything was confirmed. Last night, he drove 2 hours to Sevierville to play -- only to walk in and find someone else on stage. Turns out the venue had a "system wipe" and erased his booking without telling him. They had his contact info and never called, emailed, or messaged -- nothing. When he asked for even basic compensation for the drive, gas, and lost time, they told him no. Just offered a free meal and told him to "wait around" in case the booking manager showed up. Absolutely insulting. He drove 4 hours round trip for nothing. This is completely unprofessional and shows zero respect for musicians. He won't be back -- and I'd strongly warn other artists to think twice before working with them. read more

Good food for sure, but that's all that I have good to say. The restaurant is filthy. The blinds on the windows are covered in dust, and dirty dishes are left piled up on the bar. Takes a very long time to get your food as well as a long time just to get the bill. If you're coming for lunch, be prepared to listen to rave music on full blast. read more

Was really wanting an Irish Coffee for St. Patrick's Day. Was in the area doing some shopping and this popped up as the only Irish pub in the area for miles. Had good reviews, so had hopes. Waited around for 25 minutes to be seated. Ordered some apps and the Irish Coffee. Bartender went off to make coffee. Someone I guess was a manager saw this, questioned him, then turned off the coffee maker and rudely said "We don't do coffee" and walked off. WTF? Bartender apologized, but that was the last straw. We cancelled the order and walked out. I've been to Ireland MANY times. DEFINITELY not Irish hospitality. Won't be coming back. read more

This is definitely a locals spot in the area. Which is nice because it's not really packed. Me and hubby regularly eat here when we come down to the area. It is truly a dive bar. It's dark and dingy but good food! Service can be a little so so but I'm ok with that most times. The food is delicious. We haven't had anything we don't like here. I tried the shepherds pie last time and it was delicious. The veggies seemed more on the frozen kind but it still wasn't bad. This isn't a Michelin star restaurant. You're getting good relatively cheap pub food, but it's delicious! They have quite a few beers in tap, and large selection of cans/bottles/liquor. So you really can't go wrong here. It can get a little loud at times, but to be expected in a bar. They have a nice patio, a pool table and some video games towards the back. read more

So, we found this place this evening, and I felt I had to post a review. It felt like a friendly local hangout, and the food was excellent. We had the Irish Boxies as an appetizer, they were terrific, came with salsa, sour cream and ranch, try them with all the combinations! For entrees we had fish and chips and the shepard's pie. The fish was very good, two large pieces and the cole slaw tasted a lot like my dad's (yum!!). The shepard's pie was delicious. Looking forward the leftovers!! read more
