I remember this cave as a little kid, and we would drive by and I'd always want to go, I never got to. And today I changed that, we went inside and had a burger and fries. The service was excellent. I felt the burger was a touch on the dry side, but the fries and everything combined was good. I would definitely come back. I totally understand some of the other people's comments about water and sanitary conditions. You have to realize you're actually in a real cave. I let those things go and enjoyed myself. Thought this would be a fun place to try. Thought the cave was cool and the goats were cute. We choose to sit outside but way too many flies and that should of been a red flag. There were 4 of us and we all had different meals but less than 24 hours 2 of us were vomiting violently and the other 2 had horrible stomach aches. Prob will not eat there again. read more

The food is horrible. Absolutely disgusting. Our food came out at different times. One burger showed up within 1 minute of ordering it. The rest took forever and they even forgot one of the burgers in our group. That being said. It's kind of fun to drink and hangout in a cave. I wouldn't come back for the food. The waitress was nice. That's All that's Good. Thought it would be neat to check the place out with the Cave. My first indication should have been All the cars outside but no one eating. And only saw one other couple, they left. Needless to say I should have looked up the place first. We were just there yesterday and my daughter got the chicken sandwich it came out as two chicken strips on untoasted bread. I ate two chips from the Chicken Nacho supreme (plain chips I might add bc it looked disgusting), but asked for a too go box just so I could throw it out at the next gas station. I was trying not to be rude but now I am... as of today my daughter has been going to the bathroom and vomiting all day. My son is now sick also HORRIBLE!!! This place was a joke. The goats outside are cute... but really? How unsanitary is that? We should have just turned around and never ate here after seeing that when we pulled up. The food... Omg, the food was atrocious. We were expecting mediocre food, but nothing as bad as what we were served. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwiches and were completely dissatisfied. When our plates were sat down in front of us, we both looked up at each other with scared looks on our faces. It looked like canned cat food on a 'pretzel' bun. It was all extremely overpriced, too! $10 a plate for some frozen mystery meat!? Get out of here. The service was beyond slow and there wasn't more than 8 people seated the entire time we were there. In years past, I have been very satisfied with the food quality and service. Super disappointed this trip. The server was very pleasant and sweet, but very slow and disorganized. The chicken sandwich came out on cold, un-toasted bread. The Reuben sandwich was also cold, bread was soggy and un-toasted. Very sad this funky little place can't seem to get their kitchen in order. This is a fun and unique place to grab a bite and/or drink. The place is built into a real cave and also has a nice outdoor patio area. Randomly there are goats on the side of the adjacent hill, but it adds to the quirkiness of the place. The service was friendly a quick. One of the owners came by our table and we found out they are open year round. We went for lunch in August for a little weekend adventure and it was well worth the trip. read more

My husband, brother, and I were so excited to eat here after hopping off the river. We sat down next to a table of great people who placed their order a few minutes after we got there. Another table arrived after us and also placed their order... while we patiently waited for someone to help us. After 20 minutes (two waitresses had been in and out several times checking on the tables around us), my husband finally approached a waitress and she said, "Oh, the kitchen just closed." No. We were there and no one waited on us. In fact, I had shouted to the waitress once before and she turned quickly to bolt inside. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I went there with about 7 people, I ordered first and by the time the last person ordered, not two minutes later I had my Boulder Burger in front of me. So, first off they didn't bring all the food out all at once which makes it awkward eating in front of everyone, but the burger was AWFUL! I asked the waitress for a "medium" cooked burger. She looked at me like I had horns, apparently the temperature of a burger is not a common request here. The burger looked like it had been sitting in its own grease for 30 minutes. The burger was a sloppy mess and the meat looked like slightly browned ground beef. I sent it back because by that time everyone had their food and others that ordered the same thing had a normal burger. When I sent it back I overheard the cook say, "what do they think this is a 5 start restaurant?!" For fear of my food being spit in I told the girl to forget it, I didn't plan on ordering anything else. End of the meal we get our check and mine has the burger on there. My dad went back to the manager and said we aren't paying for it because it was inedible. Long story short, the cook came out and insulted my dad and was extremely rude. No one there has any idea about customer service. We had another group of friends come in and the waitress told them it would be about an hour before they could even get to their food because they just had 15 people come in. Really? They can't handle 15 people? The place was not even busy. It was an awful experience and I would NEVER go back! The goats outside are the only good thing this place has going for them! read more
