Worth Every Mile! I've been dining at steakhouses across the country for more than 40 years, and I can honestly say Shawanoe Steak & Spirits is at the top of my list. We drive an hour from central Northwest Arkansas just to eat here, and it's worth every minute of the trip. Every visit has been exceptional--from the food and service to the warm, upscale atmosphere. We've tried the steaks, salmon, and Chilean sea bass, and every entrée has been outstanding. The lobster is absolutely enormous and, without question, the best I've ever tasted. The appetizers are just as impressive. The jumbo black tiger shrimp truly live up to their name, and the pan-seared jumbo lump crab cake is one of the best I've ever had. They also start your meal with delicious artisan bread and honey butter that sets the tone for what's to come. Be sure to save room for dessert. The Bananas Foster and crème brûlée are phenomenal and worth ordering every time. What really sets Shawanoe apart is the people. Chef Sterling is incredibly talented and always takes time to visit with guests--often personally delivering the food. Hailey and Chloe have provided some of the best service we've experienced anywhere, and Mike, the Food & Beverage Manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. That level of hospitality is becoming rare. I've eaten at many of the top steakhouses in Las Vegas and around the country, and Shawanoe Steak & Spirits absolutely belongs in that conversation. When you walk in, the ambiance is cozy yet sophisticated with the lighting. We were greeted by our server who gave us some insights and highlights of the menu. Our first course was the maple glazed bacon and it was spectacular. It had a sweet yet meaty taste and I would highly recommend it. We also had an array of different breads to eat. My favorite was the cranberry walnut bread. It had a hint of sweetness that I wasn't expecting. Then I ordered the double pork chop while my husband ordered the cowboy ribeye. Let me tell you, the presentation of the ribeye was phenomenal and my husband said it was the best steak he had ever had!! My pork chops were cooked perfectly and paired well with the augratin potatoes. We rounded out our meal with the carrot cake bread pudding. It was warm and very tasty. We have eaten at Shawanoe Steak & Spirits approx 7 times and it just opened!! We love to bring our friends to such a relaxing, quiet, and beautiful atmosphere. Miranda is a welcoming waitress, always greeting us with a smile on her face. The team of managers, including Bill, strive for excellence throughout your entire dining experience. The chef is warm and approachable and very much wants you to love your selections. We love the filet mignon tips and chilled shrimp as appetizers. Each shrimp is humongous. Sauces are succulent. The pork chop and chopped wedge salad never disappoint!! We also routinely get the wonderful bread basket and brussels sprouts with thick bacon pieces; all potato sides are great. The desserts are amazing, especially the thick huge piece of authentic New York cheesecake and the bananas foster gooey butter ice cream dessert. What a great night! My husband and I decided to try the new Shawanoe Steak and Spirits in Indigo Sky Casino for New Years Eve. It is beautiful, feels very fresh and it was busy! We started with the Ceasar salad and jumbo lump crab cake. The salad was a traditional Caesar which I love and had plenty of yummy homemade croutons. The Jumbo lump crabcake was filled with big pieces of crab, it was delicious! For our entrée we chose the Tomahawk steak for two.... Wow perfection! We asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Try the Chimichurri sauce with it, it was a great addition. We also had mushrooms and a loaded baked potato which rounded off our dinner. We had to end the night with dessert and the cheesecake was outstanding! The staff was great and very attentive throughout the night. We will definitely come back again! The food was amazing. My Filet was absolutely perfect and so tender. The Caesar salad was crisp, perfect amount of dressing and the homemade croutons as well and the Parmesan cheese crisp made it a hit! The French onion soup was probably the best I've ever had! Somehow the bread inside the bowl has cheese intertwined but was also crispy, even after I got home. My husband had a ribeye and ate every bite! The baked potato was enormous and look amazing! I got the garlic creamy mashed potatoes and they were delicious! We also got the most amazing bread pudding desert ever! The sides are so big that you can share! We had the absolute BEST meal ever at this restaurant in the Indigo Sky Hotel and Casino. The filet mignon was perfect with a wonderful bernaise sauce, and the loaded baked potato was top tier.
