This place is great! I broke the glass back on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and after calling around, I found that this place had the lowest prices: $40 vs. $69 everywhere else. I brought my phone in and the transaction was simple. They had to order the part, which was set to arrive at 3pm the next day. I returned at 4:50pm the following day, and my phone was good to go with fresh plastic for me to peel off. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of phone repairs. I was at my wits end with Sprint both on their 1-800 tech support and their service at the Sprint Store in Georgetown. My EVO 4G got that red triangle/exclamation point of death. Both Sprint support and the store told me I had to pay $175 to move my upgrade eligibility up from March, on top of paying for the phone. For being a 12+ year customer, I felt this was a slap in the face. My wife saw this store, went in to talk to Javier and was impressed with the great service. She sent me there. So, I'm really bad with my iPhone 4S and had the screen replaced 3x now (don't judge me, lol) twice at The Cellphone Experience in round rock and once at All Wireless Repair off research blvd. Went back in October to have my very cracked screen fixed and all was good. Went back when I broke the complimentary screen protector they put on it and I realized the home button wasn't adjusted correctly the first time. I will say - a little frustrating it took three times to get it right... BUT they got it right and didn't hesitate to help me out. I also had some issues with my phone crashing (found out it was an Apple update causing the issue), but they helped me do a factory reset and get my phone aka lifeline working again! read more

Please beware of buying any cellphone plans at this store. I walked in asking about the 6 month plan I remember seeing online. The smooth talking salesperson told me I can buy the sim card in the store, but they can't activate that plan. I bought the sim and went home and realized that 6 month plan online comes with the sim. I went back to the store the very next day to return the sim, untouched in its package, but the store doesn't want to take it. They have "no returns" printed on their receipt, but they don't tell you that when you are buying, you only see that after completing the purchase. They knew I was looking for a plan that was available online, they needn't have made me spend $32.76 on a sim that I won't be able to use. Or atleast if they had told me there are no returns, I wouldn't have bought it before finding out more info. They seem very friendly when you go to buy, but you go back asking for a return and their demeanor changes completely, they just want you out of their store. I wouldn't want to do business with such a store. ---------------------------------- Added after seller's comment - 1. No I never said "I didn't want to wait for the online thing and need a sim right away". I was told by the salesperson that I will need the sim 2. Sim was never activated, nor was the package opened. A friend of mine who knows apple products very well said I was missing a part on the inside of my phone. Supposedly without this part my phone is much more sensitive. When you drop your phone without this piece the sensors in charge of the touch screen can be severed very easily. The part itself is extremely cheap on amazon so it makes me think they purposely took it out one of the times I went so that every little bump caused an issue with the touch screen which would cause me to take it back. If they are supposed experts in this field then they should have told me this piece was missing and would replace it, but they conveniently left it out every time I went. read more

My roommate went to get her camera fixed, but instead she had to be given an iPhone 7 because they broke her phone. They told her they fixed it but then it was indeed not fixed so she went to tell them but then they ended up just breaking it and she has to wait a whole day to get her phone back. I went swimming with my iPhone in my pocket and I thought it was completely dead after being submerged for a few minutes. They were able to restore functionality within 2 days for roughly $50! I went there and spoke with Jaime on Saturday we discussed the price for 2 screens for 2 phones, and he said that at the time he only had one and he needed to order another one, but that he would give me a deal and since both the phones had only been dropped one time and the screen shattered I wanted to also buy at the same time 2 hard plastic cases similar to the otterbox, so JAIME said I will give you a deal for $140 for all of it, new screens and 2 new cases, I agreed and asked if he could put the agreement in writing since he needed to order the other screen anyway and told him I would come back on Wed. or that next Saturday and drop both phones off for the repair and he said that he did not work on Wed so someone else might be there and so he wrote it all down and attached his card even, WELL, Saturday came around and my kids were very excited to get the phones fixed and pick out a case of their choice, we get there and MR JAIME says to me well the cost for the screens went up so I have to charge you more, and I told him well you gave me a quote and you gave it to me in writting and you were supposed to have already have both screens here to fix the phones, well A) he never ordered the second screen AND B) he now wanted to charge me more for him not ordering the screens when they were the cheaper price. So i tried to tell him that it wasnt very good business to give someone a written quote and then raise the amt the next week AND he didnt even have the stuff to fix the phones. WTF!!!!! ******DO NOT GO HERE****** Javier sold me a bad battery telling me it was new. I went back because I knew it wasn't working properly. He then tells me it was refurbished and that he doesn't have any new ones but his supplier will bring him new ones in the next hour and I should come back. I came back and he gives me my phone and I immediately notice that it's still not working. He tries to tell me that my phone is full and that's why it keeps turning off. I leave but then decided to come back because it just didn't feel right. He takes my phone into the back and as I am sitting there waiting for it THE SUPPLIER WALKS IN WITH THE NEW BATTERIES. He LIED to me and told me he gave me a new one, when in fact, he had not. He put a "new" battery in...the phone has worked ok over the past few months, occasionally turning off but always coming back on. Today, however, I woke up and it will not stay on. It keeps turning on and off and as soon as I take it off the charger it turns off. MY PHONE STILL DOES NOT WORK. And to make things worse, when I went back the last time and he put in the "new" battery, he lost my phone cover. I asked him where it was and he told me that he didn't have it, that it was in my car. I WALKED INTO THAT PLACE WITH A PHONE COVER. Don't call me a liar. At this point, I was really really upset. It's the first time I have ever yelled at a business. He threw me a $20 bill and told me to go buy a new one at another store. Disappointed. I brought my son's phone to replace LCD screen in early September (screen was cracked). Screen failed Oct 31st with no physical damage, water ect. Took back to store. They cited "pressure damage" as reason it happened rather than faulty LCD screen. Only offer 30 day warranty even on parts (bad warranty). These are nice guys but be very careful. They don't stand behind their work at all. I'm now at CPR repair in round rock LA Frontera to get screen replaced again (another $180). They offer lifetime warranty as long as not physically damaged (makes more sense). I will let you know how it goes. read more

Very disappointed! I took my Nexus 5 there to get my screen fixed. After it was fixed I bought a case and screen protector to make sure it wouldn't break again. Well, about 2 weeks later, my screen cracked, and a week after that it cracked again. I went back there and asked what kind of product they use, if it was an original part from LG and he said: "no, nobody uses original parts.. Once the phone has been worked on, chances are it will break again a lot easier". Really?? How about you told me that before hand so I wouldn't have wasted $150?? I had my daughters screen replaced after she dropped it. 20 days later the touch screen quit responding. Now they tell me that the board is corroded. The phone was not exposed to water and yet now it's corroded? This had to have happened while at this location in their care. They refuse to take responsibility or correct the issue. My advice to future customers is to get a warranty in writing with all repairs. They are now wanting to charge me for a new screen again. read more

Went to The Cellphone Experience to get a repair on an old phone. Omar pointed out that it wasn't necessary. Great. I decided to buy a case for my new phone. Omar put on a case by MyBat and a screen protector. "Professionally installed, no less" I thought. Take the phone on a vacation. The case falls apart, dumps the phone on a gravel path, and the screen protector did what it was supposed to do. Close shave. When I get back from vacation I stop by The Cellphone Experience. Foolishly, I admired that the broken screen protector might have not been the fault of the faulty case, so I paid for another one. I then said that since the case was defective, I wanted to exchange it for another brand. Nope. The store has a 5 day exchange policy on accessories. Besides that, they have never had a problem with these products. (Now they have.) Contact the manufacturer if the product is defective. I don't want another one of these cases. So it looks like I'm on the hook for a new case (which I will buy elsewhere). Took my doggie for a walk this morning, saw 3 deer, and took the phone out to take a picture. Same thing happens. The case comes apart and dumps the phone on the ground. Fortunately, no damage. Advice to self - get another case. Just to add insult to injury, the second screen protector is starting to detatach at the corner. Advice to others - check the reputation of products elsewhere (e.g., Amazon) don't buy before a vacation or if you don't like returning to the same place multiple times. read more

My cell phone quit charging so I took it in and it was repaired the same day. I'm very impatient so I really appreciate fast service.

This place is Horrible. I went with my girlfriend to get her phone fixed and they said it would take 4 to 5 hours We took it in at 1pm on Tues. So, later on we called and they informed us the part they had was not the right one for the phone so they had to order a new one that we would have to wait until the next day. We call the next day in the morning to see if the phone is ready and the worker says no that he hasn't checked the mail to see if the part has came in. Well I ask him how hard is it to go check your mailbox outside and he said he was busy, I just so ok fine then. Later during the day we get a call and they say the phone will be ready in about 30 minutes so we go there and then they tell us that the phone isn't working, (The problem with the phone was a cracked inside). So the time is about 640 pm so he tells us it won't be ready today, Why call us and tell us it will be ready then waist our time. Thursday comes and they call us and tell us it is ready. We go there and the phone was scratched and the screen wasn't glued right and he tells us he had to use different part basically a used part for the cover of the phone. My girlfriend is very upset and tells them I didnt bring my phone scratched up and that she wasnt going to pay for the service so while she is at the counter he proceeds to grab the phone from her so they have a little tug of war and he finally yanks it from her, I am in shock that he is doing that and they are other customers. He says you will pay if you want your phone back and she is like give me my phone right now!! SO we had to call the police for him putting his hands on her and the phone was returned, He stated that she was trying not to pay and walk out with the phone which wasn't true.
