We drove up for a Mountain Goats/Bright Eyes concert, and had an awesome time. It's pretty easy to get up close, but if you want to sit (or need to, like say you sprained your ankle a day before the show...) you can do so and still see the stage better than you might at a larger, urban venue. Friendly staff, reasonably priced beer, and scenic surroundings make for an awesome setting to listen to good music.

The story line was easy to follow and the actors were spectacular. Parking is available off street or across the street at the Phoebe's lot for a fee. There is a concession stand and bar inside that offers candy, snacks, coffee, and alcoholic drinks (even a special creation for whatever play is showing). There are also memberships offered if you think you'll go to multiple shows. A great experience! I hope to return soon!

As a regular theatre-goer here in Rochester, I was SUPER excited to finally check out Syracuse Stage. They do co-productions with our LORT theatre Geva, and I have heard great things. The venue itself is classy, well maintained, with reasonable prices on everything from snacks to wine to tickets. Every staff member I interacted with was SO friendly. Special shoutout to the AMAZING box office staff! I had a conflict come up for my original show date and they exchanged me into a new date - no questions asked. At many theatre's, you have to pay an exchange fee or exchanges are only allowed for subscribers. That kind of accommodation will keep me coming back the next time they are doing a can't miss show (helllllo Amadeus next season!) Thank you to them for being so helpful and easy to work with! Even though the show I saw was not my cup of tea, I look forward to coming back and deeply appreciate them bringing high level talent to the upstate/central NY area. We are SO lucky to have a rich theatre scene, and Syracuse Stage is worth the special trip up from Rochester if there's something you're keen on seeing!

They are both sort of walkable sandwiches (wrapped in foil) but we did stop to stand and eat them. We love BBQ and we were happy with the taste and the smoke of both. I was afraid the bacon bomb was going to be too much but it wasn't. It was delicious. Pulled pork wasn't too soggy that the bun was falling apart but not dry. The sauce was good and happy we went their instead of Dinosaur BBQ. Also served quick considering it was BBQ and Saturday. WE WOULD GET BOTH AGAIN! Disappointed I didn't take a photo.
