Acoustics are outstanding everywhere, including lawn seats. Venue: The venue is a combined under-the-roof ~5,000 seats amphitheater plus a very large lawn with enough space for approx. 15,000 people. Historically, BYO Chairs was the rule, then they changed it to chair rental. Chairs can be reserved and picked up with no hassle for a minimal price. The reason for this change was a very long chair inspection time at security checkpoints. For me rental it is preferable option. You can leave the chairs on the lawn after concert. Lawn seats are a way cheaper than under-the-roof seats, typically well below $100, and the acoustics are outstanding. With huge overhead jumbotrons the experience is very rewarding. Having used both indoor and outdoor seating on multiple occasions I would recommend lawn seats for budget-sensitive folks. Under-the-roof space has ample wheelchair area with outstanding access. Parking: it is paid. Getting a ticket is a breeze with hordes of attendants in multiple lanes. Parking is an open-space, one-level asphalt lot, very standard, with diagonal slots of good size. Location poles are plentiful. The lot is VERY large, and I would recommend taking a pic of your parking spot and the pole sign. The size is a bit overwhelming, but it has to accommodate 15,000+ cars! Think 3-4 times a large supermarket parking. Getting in is very easy, getting out is obviously harder but I have seen worse. Lot of police officers directing traffic. My typical experience is ~15 minutes to highway exit. Interstate highway - not a jammed local road! I don't understand all the complaints about parking; it is pretty standard and, comparatively, better than other venues I visited. For those who cannot tolerate walking I recommend a VIP parking space ty[ically priced at ~$15 extra. Otherwise, you get what you paid for. Getting in: If you park in the lot closest to the venue it takes 5-7 minutes to get to security. Remote parking spots may easily add 10 minutes extra walk. Security: 6-8 lanes plus an express lane for "no baggers". It is brisk. From the checkpoint there is a few minutes' walk (200 yards?) to ticket check, no wait time at all. Then another walk about same distance. Chair pick-up next to the lawn corner is unproblematic. Few drink-and-foot stands along the path, typically uncrowded. Overall, entering the venue is a smooth experience with no friction points IHMO. Restrooms: there is an endless line of portapots on top of the lawn and several other locations. Don't count on an indoor restroom although there are a few in the main building. It is an outdoor concert, FTGS! Food and Drink: forgettable and astronomically priced. Standard American picnic fare. Bear bottle can easily cost $10+. Or more. Water bottle $6+. I suspect vendors pay a very hefty license fees. Onondaga County must get their share so it is best to come after dinner. Leaving after concert: This is a bit of a challenge. One needs to walk back the path inside the venue. It is a chokepoint and it gets VERY crowded. A lot of body contact in a slow-walking throng. Plan for 10 minutes at the least. Shenanigans: I have never experienced any questionable behavior. The crowd is friendly and relaxed. Getting drunk on the premises is unlikely (cost!) without some liquor smuggling. Parking exit is very orderly. In summary, this is very nice venue with a lot of upsides and some quirks.

Lakeview strikes out…read more First off, the clear bag policy has gotten out of hand. Went to a show with my family, my mother couldn't bring a small purse in. You can search a purse, but I guess that's too much effort for the security people. So we had to run back to the car, and it took us 30 minutes to even get back in. Second, there were LINES to get into the seated area. If you're paying $100 a ticket (at LEAST), you shouldn't have to wait another 30 minutes in line to get to your seat when there's multiple entrances around the shell, it's just unnecessary. A BEER IS $18. AND they expect you to tip. A Bills game? Whatever, that makes sense even though it's prived outrageously. A stadium concert? Just barely understandable. But here?? $18 is highway robbery. Parking still sucks.

The music was really good and with all the food it really was a "Festival". Over 55 Food Trucks serving up samples and full size portions! One of my favorites was Blueberries and Lace's Banana Draft Latte with an oatmeal sandwich cookie on top....enough coffee flavor to balance the sweet banana and milk. The oatmeal sandwich cookie with the frosting middle was a super delicious treat! Redneck Reuben Union truck was serving up , what I like to call, the "best Reuben in the Syracuse area", house smoked corned beef with warm sauerkraut, lots of melty swiss and smoked thousand Island dressing perfectly grilled. Carvel ice cream sundae with very flavorful chocolate ice cream and crunch kot, caramel and whipped cream....so good. Vietnamese Noodle House - chopped beef Banh mi with an Asian beef dipping sauce that I could have just drank alone. Mamacita's Seoul Nachos were crispy and delicious with fried wonton skins, beef, a creamy topping and a sweet sauce. Ji-Woos Korean manu dumplings and There Bibimbop. There were so many great trucks....Toss & Fire Pizza ( wood fired and always one of my favorites... I'm glad I am near one of their brick and mortar stores so I can get their pizza anytime!), Calle Tropical, Moonchot, Via Napoli, Bold Coast Lobster, Exhale Bakery, Silo Chicken, Fair Deli, Lucky 7, and so many more. They do have security checkpoints at the entrance which made me feel safe. As for the food, all the trucks had such amazing samples! They're pretty big and the pricing was usually $5 per sample from each truck. I really enjoyed the lobster roll from Bold Coast Lobster, it was probably the best thing I had the at this event that was not a sample. I would say the best sample and best bang for your buck is definitely the banana draft latte from blueberries & lace, just look at that entire oatmeal cream pie that comes with it! The latte itself was also not too sweet and a the banana and coffee flavor really blended together nicely. The ramen elote from Elm Street Tacos was yummy but I do wish the noodles were a little less cooked and a bit more al dente to give more texture to the overall dish. The Seoul street nachos from Mamacitas were very popular from what I saw but I do wish that they used a gochujang based sauce over a Thai chili sauce to make it more a "Korean" fusion dish. That being said the Seoul street nachos were still very delicious and was a great way to start off the food truck battle tasting. Something not pictured that I'd like to shout out is the pork belly burnt ends from Salt City Smokehouse. The portion size was the smallest compared to the other samples but it is all meat so I'm not surprised. I would say it's definitely worth it to try regardless of the size because it the pork belly has a great smoky flavor and was very tender. Overall, I enjoyed the food truck battle and I will be returning again next year! The event was definitely organized and I never felt it was too overcrowded despite there being a lot of people.

I love that they started including a Latino and Asian village. I personally love the chevy court concerts and they do often include Latino artists. So nice catching a free concert. It is fun seeing what special fair items Fair Deli and Toss n Fire come up with as they are newer fair staples. I have gone with my nephew and he enjoyed the exhibits in the expo center.

The atmosphere was very chill, relaxing and Natyia out host was Awesome, she definitely added that spark to our experience. Natyia was very fun, kind and informative of all the wines we tasted . We paid $12 per person and got 15 tastings (you can't beat that). We did 2 rounds which was 30 tastings per person. I purchased 2 wine glasses and 2 bottles of wine as well, decently priced at $15 and $16 dollars each . I will be visiting again for my bday to actually make wine, as they offer that experience as well. If ever your in Syracuse this winery is a must visit. I promise you will not be disappointed.
