They also tie in your likes with your natural aptitudes and show how the two can work together. The art school is connected with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH) organization and campus. The building is absolutely beautiful and the classrooms are well equipped for blooming artists striving to become.better at their craft. The current program our daughter is participating in is an "Art Tales" program. A story is read to the students and then they create art afterward that is inspired by the story. Various media are explored and used; drawing, painting, clay sculpting, etc. The class is 2 hours in duration, once weekly, and takes place for a period of 3 months. It's a great program and a sure fire way to enhance cultural enrichment and serve as an expressive and creative outlet. The campus is directly adjacent to the MFAH, so parents can enjoy a day at the museum while children are in class if they feel (membership or admission required) or, simply browse the student art on display in the galleries of The Glassell School of Art (this is free) and there is plenty to see. There is also a sculpture garden on campus to stroll through (for free) and a rooftop deck that makes for some lovely views and photo opportunities. Free street/curbside parking is usually available, otherwise there is a fee-based parking structure.

Some employers refuse to even accept my application when they find out I got my C.M.A there.
