When we stepped in the restaurant, I asked if I could get a kebab on a plate, since we went on a rush we first thought about taking it to go and eat in the station, but the man behind the counter wasn't friendly at all (here is why only 4 stars...), he did not even listen to me, an sent us to the restaurant on the first floor. We went there and ordered quickly, not sure anymore if it was possible to take away. Here, the waitress were really nice, we ordered, I asked for fries instead of the bread and the waitress didn't even said anything about it and agreed, so I found that really nice, and they actually didn't even charged me for it. Unfortunately it took about 15 / 20 minutes to come (since I ordered grilled meat) so we had to eat in like 5 minutes, it was really good though (better than a lot of Kebab grills I've tried at least) and I would have like to eat it slower.

Tasty lamb, lettuce, fresh onions, and a generous heap of creamy garlic sauce would be delicious enough but they put a puree of spicy sauce on top too. It turns up the heat in just the perfect way. You can add fries (chips) and a drink for 3 euro more. They fries can be topped with a number of sauces like cheese, chili, taco (meat, cheese, taco, sauce) or my favorite, curry. The restaurant has three tables in the back but mostly seems like a take away spot.

When we arrived in Galway, we decided to find something a little lighter/healthier, so we were thrilled when our search yielded the TGO Falafel Bar. A cute little vegan takeout place, that does a brisk business. The service was top notch, and the open kitchen allowed us to creepily watch as the food was being prepared. I liked that I watched them cut the falafel balls in half, so that even though my wrap had two balls, they were distributed evenly throughout. I was also impressed with the amount of food that was shoved into our wraps/pitas. The pita seemed to fall apart a bit from the liquid, so wrap is definitely the easier one to eat on the go, while the pita gets you more food for only an extra euro or so. If we lived here, this is where we would get most of our meals from.

I unfortunately can't remember the exact name of the dish because i can't find a full menu online. This dish was extremely delicious! All of the vegetables were fresh and nothing was too salty. If anything it tasted a little on the bland side in terms of saltiness. But I loved it!!!! This dish truly made me feel as if I was nourishing my body with wholesome pure foods.
