Two House burgers (one is GF), GF brownie

Delicious vegan food in Galway! I'm GF as well and they were super accommodating. They also grilled my burger instead of frying it which was nice. The House burger (GF) was incredible and the GF brownie was good (though a bit dry). Wish I had time to go back here on my trip. Definitely check it out if you find yourself in Galway! Craved something healthy so I ordered delivery through Deliveroo & was delivered on time & in-tact…read more Ordered the beet salad with apples, nuts & goat cheese. The salad was large enough to feed two people, & there was only one of me! Loved the flavor & felt good eating it! Goat cheese & produce were incredibly fresh. Came with bread/butter on the side - as an American it looked like banana bread - however it was NOT (sad face); it was a plain loaf. Bread was okay; if it's made in-house, then I'll give em more credit! -1 star because I wish there was more crunch (nuts + apples).

The food here was fantastic and very reasonably priced at the same time! For anyone who likes…read morehealthy food, salads or who has certain diet restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, paleo etc), then I'd really recommend this place! For salads and sandwiches you can choose from the menu or make your own by selecting ingredients from the deli. They have a bigger choice than regular deli to include things like roast and smoked salmon, chickpeas, beetroot, cherry tomatoes in addition to the usual stuff. You can also choose between a lettuce or pasta base if ordering salad. They also have a nice breakfast and brunch menu, as well as hot mains like noodles, quesadilla, stews and soup. Prices are overall pretty cheap, you can eat here for less than €10. The staff were pretty nice, not much to say there, and the cafe itself was fairly clean with nice seating. However it does get full at lunch time on weekdays since it's near the hospital, but they do take aways as well.

The inside is beautiful - like a converted greenhouse/cottage with stone walls and lots of natural light. One of the first things I noticed was the pastry counter. It was absolutely stunning with gorgeous cakes and other sweet treats available by the slice. The menu is written on a large chalkboard at the far end of the cafe, which can be hard to read depending on where you're seated. I asked for the staff's recommendation and she said I should try the fried fish. It came served with slaw, salad, brown soda bread, beautiful yellow butter and the most perfect fried pieces of cod I think I've ever had. This was not your typical "fish and chips" style fish but instead, was seasoned to perfection with a bit of a crunchier, thicker batter. Wow, it was incredible. I was also so grateful for the side of slaw and salad as I think that was the first leafy green I had had in over a week since arriving in Ireland. The latte I ordered was also delicious and well made. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit - all working together to efficiently service the lunch rush. I would totally come back here next time I'm in Galway. It is highly recommended for good reason so go see for yourself!

The eggplant was very unique! The turnips were good! We shared a bottle of wine that paired well with the meal. The Kitchen…read more I tried some of the sparking berry lemon drink, which was perfectly sweetened and delicious! It was beautiful in color and the fresh lemon in it made it look even better. It was extremely refreshing and would pair well with nearly any drink. I ordered the veggie plate, see picture below. I asked for it to be made vegan of course! I unfortunately can't remember the exact name of the dish because i can't find a full menu online. This dish was extremely delicious! All of the vegetables were fresh and nothing was too salty. If anything it tasted a little on the bland side in terms of saltiness. But I loved it!!!! This dish truly made me feel as if I was nourishing my body with wholesome pure foods. See pictured a wrap as well, which I also don't know the name to. However, I didn't try this dish. So I can't speak of the taste of it. I recommend checking out the museum attached to this restaurant because it's FREE and has great history of Ireland! I loved this entire center center and am so happy with the plethora of vegan options all around!

My first meal in Galway and it's a winner, big time…read more I had the crispy curried chicken salad - roasted and fried chicken that comes with a crispy potato skin salad, pickled courgette with Moroccan harissa... enough said ;-) Oh, let me attach a picture of the best salad ever, you know... just to invoke feelings of jealous among other Yelpers. And it only cost €9.70... I rest my case. Service was excellent too - they did bring out a chicken wrap by mistake but rectified it very quickly with plenty of apologies. If you manage to nab a table outside, you'll have a fine view of the Spanish Arch and the Corrib River - and then walk your meal off at the adjoining fantastic Galway museum!
