So I cut them some slack with the wait time. Waiter was not as attentive as he could've been. I had Shrimp Scampi which came cold. I ate the shrimp and left the pasta. I wasn't impressed at all and I've been here before and had great food ...but the vibe is different now. We had to ask for the bread to be brought out. We waited about an hour for the food to come out and when we were ready to go had to wait for the waiter to come cash us out. What a giant disappointment. We come to this location multiple times and never had an issue until today. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our reservation is at 6 and we were seated by 6:08. Took a few minutes for our server to come greet us, we all started off with waters, but said that we will be ordering drinks and we have one more friend arriving in 10mins. Came back with the water and bread baskets and he disappeared again. Our friend arrives and finally got our server's attention to order appetizers. At this point, we were kind of annoyed and the birthday girl said to forget about the drinks. She flagged some other server down to refill our waters (still haven't seen our server come back after taking our appetizer order). Someone delivered our appetizer and we asked him to refill our waters again. At this point, we see our neighboring table's server more than we see ours. Birthday girl flagged someone else down for more waters and we just sat and waited. Finally was able to flag down someone, probably a manager that was walking around, told him that we haven't seen our server in a long time and we would like to order dinner. He said ok, walked away and came back and said that he will take our order. His demeanor / attitude was short and borderline rude (at least when he was talking to me) but so soft spoken and patient with my friend sitting across from me with her questions. Not sure if he felt some kind of way because I said and quote "We haven't seen our server in a while and we would really like to order dinner." Once we ordered... more waiting, then suddenly... our server popped up and was like "are you guys ready to order?" What??? do you guy who work together don't communicate with one another? We told him we already did and just just gave a nod and walked away. Took about 30-40mins before we got our food. Our server did stop by once during that wait to let us know that it'll be ready soon. My friend's first concern was... is out food going to be hot? Finally when we got our food she took a bite of her chicken and she said "it's just warm", the birthday girl's chicken was also just warm, my pasta was slightly undercook and also just warm. The last 2 entrees that's delivered to our other friends, the fried cauliflower... was hot. The veggie burger was hot but the whole thing fell apart when she picked it up. She also had to wait for her sweet potato fries, which was actually fresh. Then our server popped up to check on us, we went ahead and told him to put in our to-go order and asked for our check (not really sure how long it would take for him to come back if we let him leave... LOL). We all just kind of picked at our food, the quality of the food is just not there and we were really annoyed at the lack of service that we got. I ordered the Jambalaya pasta and the chocolate truffle tower to go for my husband and when I got home (30min drive) and open the food... It was dried, the pasta was undercooked, there was no flavor (not the jambalaya that my husband got when eating in). He took a bite and said it was the most disgusting thing ever. As bad as the food and the service is, at least they can still make a decent cake / cheesecake. Being home and taking a bit of that cake is the best thing of the night. Definitely not the cheesecake factory we know and remember. Trying the cheesecake factory brunch menu they definitely had a lot of options and dishes to choose from. I opted for the biscuits and gravy that also came with chicken and a hot honey sauce. The homemade biscuit was delicious. The gravy was perfect. I didn't really care for the hot honey sauce that was on the chicken it wasn't very spicy and I just didn't like the flavor. Absolutely the worst dining experience I ever had. This was at the Cumberland location . From the server, the cashier at the bakery section and worst of all the manager . Decided to have an evening out and arrived at 8;30pm.After we received one of plate, grilled steak, it was rubbery and overcooked. We had to have a longer conversation (argued) with the server before his reluctantly decided to take it back. Down hill from there , at 10 pm we still did not get the meal , they deliberately took a long time replace it ... We decided to leave without eating ...StIll hungry we decided to have a slice of cake as we approach the exit , why did we stopped we should have known better, the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. Great place to get a late night snack we (8 of us) came in around 8:30 and stayed till around 10 PM . The service was good. Some of the old standby dishes that I usually order had been taken off the menu so that was disappointed ! The one that I missed the most was the chicken Franchese which was two huge tenderized chicken breast dipped in egg batter and sautéed with lemon and garlic, sautéed with spinach that was served over arugula I just loved! I had ordered the chicken piccata and a side of spinach definitely not the same taste or flavor. The chicken was much smaller and not tenderized and which ended up to be $33 and costing me more than my original go to dish, which was the chicken franchise with spinach $19... They also no longer offered the macadamia nut white chocolate cheesecake... So I ended up not having any cheesecake because there's no substitute for this cheesecake selection! It was a little crowded, and the wait list was confusing. I ended up taking a seat at the bar. I sat at the end away from the door and host stand. I was greeted promptly and given a menu. The bartender was nice, and suggested a few of his favorite items. I opted for the chicken and waffles, Parmesan fries, and a side of grilled asparagus. Everything came out perfect. The fries are addictive ; especially dipped in the gravy ! I got the Santa Fe and Thai Chicken Salads to go for later. The salads are huge . I went on a Saturday and my significant other and I we were only a party of two. We had a 830 reservation. We arrived at 8:32. I checked in with the front desk and was told to wait until I got a text message. By the time I turned around to walk back outside, I got a text message. I went back in and notified the front desk host who was caught off guard, but went ahead and sat us. We sat at a small booth near the bathroom, which is not my preferred seating, but it was close enough to the bar so my boyfriend could watch what we sport was on . We had a very friendly server who is full of personality, but due to the slow service, probably felt a cold shoulder from me. It is a Saturday night so I was expecting them to be busy but for my significant other and I usually take us less than two hours to eat our full meal and leave a restaurant. We waited an hour and a half just for our food to come out. I was highly upset because at that point I had no appetite. My food was OK unfortunately they are not letting you sub mashed potatoes for sides of pasta. I typically order the chicken cotta or the chicken piccata and I sub out the mashed potatoes for Angel hair pasta. I was told they are not allowed to do that company wide. So for what I did eat of my food, everything was fine . My server in hopes of making up for our visit did give us a slice of complementary cheesecake. I had already went up to the cheesecake stand and purchased two slices of the third free slice was just an additional perk. I honestly don't understand the hype around this place. The menu is ridiculously oversized, yet somehow everything tastes frozen or bland. Our food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was lukewarm and clearly sitting under a heat lamp. The pasta was drowning in sauce, the fries were soggy, and the portions felt excessive just for the sake of it. The restaurant itself was incredibly noisy and cramped, and the service was inattentive despite it not even being that busy. We had to ask multiple times for refills and waited almost 20 minutes just to get the check. And for the prices they charge, I expected much better quality. I will say I was a little disappointed with my food experience here today. I came here for the cheeseburger spring rolls and they weren't what I recall. The cheese sauce was grainy and the flavor of the spring roll was a little off. Then I got the factory chopped salad and when I saw it I was like where is all the stuff to go in it. Our waiter was personable and willing to chat when he stopped by the table. I couldn't struggled to decide what to eat, and settled on a Cuban sandwich. If done correctly, a Cuban is the pinnacle of the sandwich arts, done wrong it can be a disaster. With the exception of a smidge too much mustard (I think smidge is a valid unit of measurement), the sandwich was delicious. I was not terribly hungry so I skipped the cheesecake for dessert, but assume by the looks on their faces and lack of conversation that all of my friends were enjoying it extensively. read more

Nasty place!!!Wow. This restaurant used to be one of my favorites along with the location. Absolutely no more!! I'm actually feeling like I need to call the health department. We were seated around 2 pm after waiting about 30 minutes. The hostesses were very pleasant and nice! From there it went downhill! We were seated and then waited on by Ramon who also was taking care of the bar. We asked questions she answered we were very hungry so we ordered right away. She brought us some hard bread and said she would bring some more out of the oven. Well we never got it. 45 minutes in we were looking at her at the bar and she came over. The other member of the party asked her about the bread and appetizer she said it wasn't ready yet and came back with more hard bread but she will bring more. ( we never got it) then she also alleged our food was overcooked so she has them recooking it. In between the other member of the party asked another waiter to please send over the manager - they never came. Over one hour and fifteen minutes later we got our appetizer then the food was out 10 minutes later. The dinner was cold. We asked for a manager the waitress alleged they would give us cheesecake. Well cool but already decided never coming again. The menu is not as diverse prices up quality and service down. So I decided to use the restroom before I left. Not one drop or toilet paper in any of the stalls no soap and no toilet paper(as evidenced in the pictures). I asked to speak to the manager as at that point i was ready to vomit. The manager Tabatha West gave me a lackluster apology and said the employees use another restroom...wrong answer? Even if that is true you don't care about your customers. So after complaining so much she took the dinner off the $75 meal. I filled out the survey and asked to be contacted not a peep yet. Regardless this prompted me to look at their health report and what do you think they are knocked for? Personal hygiene. I wish I could give them zero stars. This is horrific poor service and it clearly starts with the management. I will NEVER and I mean never go there again and will do all I can to make sure everyone is aware of poor service even worse poor hygiene and lack of care for their customer!!Stay away!!! read more

I've had The Cheesecake Factory on my list for the longest time, and I'm so glad I finally got to check it out. I visited on a Wednesday evening; even though it was fairly busy, we managed to get a table on the outdoor deck, which had a lovely ambiance. Our server was fantastic--friendly, funny, and attentive. When he found out it was my first visit, he took the time to guide me through the menu, offering suggestions and making sure I'd have a great experience. Knowing how generous the portion sizes are, I decided to skip the appetizers and go straight to an entrée. I ordered the Tomato Basil Chicken Penne, which came out steaming hot and smelled amazing. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was a perfect balance of tangy and savory flavors. My favorite part was the addition of fresh Parmesan grated right in front of me--it was a simple touch, but it made the dish feel extra special. The portion was indeed huge, but every bite was delicious, and I savored it to the last forkful. Now for dessert--drumroll--I had to try the cheesecake! With so many tempting options, I had a tough time deciding, but ultimately I went with the Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cheesecake. It was pure decadence: a base of gooey pecan brownie topped with rich dark chocolate ganache, creamy caramel cheesecake, and a final layer of thick caramel sauce and toasted pecans. It came with a side of whipped cream, just in case the layers of indulgence weren't enough! Although the menu clearly listed the calorie count for each cheesecake, it didn't influence my decision--I was fully committed to diving in. The cheesecake was so delicious that I'm still craving it as I write this. The dark chocolate and caramel flavors are truly a match made in heaven. Among all the variety of flavors they offered, I'm glad I went with this one, despite a brief moment of indecisiveness. The slice was rich and huge, so I took the remaining cheesecake to-go and enjoyed it the next morning. It tasted just as amazing as the night before! I recently stopped by the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and decided to try the cajun salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was fantastic! The salmon was perfectly cooked, with a nice blackened crust that packed just the right amount of cajun kick and it came with a delicious cajun sauce. The mashed potatoes were creamy, rich, and seasoned to perfection. The spinach was fresh, but could definitely use some seasoning. Everything on the plate complemented each other wonderfully, and I left feeling fully satisfied. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming, making it an ideal midday meal. Our meals were good and the bread really good, but the service provided was bad enough for us to decide never to frequent this establishment again. We can get much better service at so many other restaurants, which also provide good food to boot. Suggestion to patrons attending the Cumberland branch, when you provide the hostess with your name and phone number, ask her to repeat. Chances are she will have both wrong. This happened to us and we were merely told that sorry, we were "not on the system" Once this was sorted and we were seated our server attended to us promptly and brought our sodas after quite a wait (sans lemon slices which we requested) and then went MIA for a loooong period. We eventually ordered our food and one of the orders was wrong, but again our server was MIA and we did not see her again to correct the food order or replenish the sodas. We saw our server again once we were almost finished our meal and we were presented with the bill timeously, but alas, it was not our bill. The topping on the cake was when we got the correct bill - and paid - and gave our server her tip (cash 19% which was probably 10% more than we should have given to be honest), she counted the tip in front of us. Ahh, The Cheesecake Factory - an American staple. This place fills me with so much nostalgia. I don't visit often but when I do, I always enjoy myself. Cheesecake Factory is one of those iconic national brands that used to feel like Michelin star eats as a child, lol. Every visit was a celebration! As an adult, the urge to visit may miss me every now and then but when it hits me, I answer. My best friend and I were shopping at Cumberland and as soon as I remembered that The Cheesecake Factory was in the building, my mind (and stomach) immediately went to that brown bread and we were on our way. We visited on a Saturday so I expected that the restaurant would be packed and I was right. Lucky us, the hostess took our info and notified us that it would be a 10-15 minute wait. Not too bad! We foolishly took a seat in front of the cheesecake display and were subjected to flashes of sweetness over those 10-15 minutes, pretty much ensuring that we'd walk out with one of our own lol. (They really should put all waiting areas in front of the cheesecake display, I know they'd sell even more!) In minutes we were seated. We were greeted by a young lady who, although not our waiter, brought us waters and took our drink orders as she let us know that our waiter was occupied but on the way - I appreciated that!! Our server (I believe his name was Joshua) made it over to our table a few minutes later and he was truly a joy. Our drinks took a little longer to reach our table than hoped, but it was only because we put in our order with someone else. They were fresh and strong when they got to us, that's all that matters. I'm on a weight-loss journey to lose baby weight so I was happy to see that TCF had a "skinnylicious" menu making it easy to count my calories while I dined in. I decided to go for a skinny mojito to pair up with my spicy tuna appetizer and both were so delicious. The spicy tuna bites ranged in sizes but were really light but decadent in flavor - 10/10. For our meals, my bestie went with the meatloaf and WOW. She accidently ordered the dinner portion and it was massive and looked so good. I opted for the skinnylicious Asian chicken lettuce tacos which were packed with veggies and paired up with a spicy peanut + a cashew dipping sauce. I tore those tacos UP. They were super filling without leaving me feeling drowsy or overstuffed. And of course we both left with cheesecake! I wasn't a sweets lover before my son but now that I am, I indulge! Unfortunately there are no "skinnylicious" cheesecakes (if you're counting calories, don't look at the cal counts on the menu without an asthma pump nearby) and the plain flavor just didn't excite me enough so I opted for the Salted Caramel and vowed to eat it in small portions, lol. Well, I usually don't go to Cheesecake Factory to eat because the menu has way too much to choose from and I don't end up knowing what to get. I really feel for the cooks , but I ended up going with the crispy battered fish tacos. It ended up being a colossal mistake as the picture I took below, was how I left my meal. It was not good at all. The fish was extremely greasy and unseasoned. There was a serious lack of flavor throughout the entire taco. I was extremely disappointed. When I mentioned to the server that it wasn't good. She nicely stated that she told me to get the grilled taco. (Which she did and that's why I'm giving two stars. That's me being accountable ) but that was it. She did nothing else. The beans were actually very flavorful, but I had lost my appetite. I felt like I was literally swallowing grease with the fish. I visited The Cheesecake Factory today looking forward to enjoying happy hour, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we first walked in, things already seemed a bit disorganized, but we didn't mind and seated ourselves. After deciding on our food -- stuffed mushrooms, calamari, and Brussels sprouts -- I also ordered a drink. When the waiter came, I placed the entire order myself and asked for a pineapple Moscow mule. She mentioned the drink would be "smoky," which I said was fine. I assumed that was just their spin on a Moscow mule, as long as it still had ginger beer. I didn't realize she thought I meant a pineapple mezcal cocktail. The food came out before the drink. Once the drink arrived and I took a sip, I immediately knew it didn't taste like a Moscow mule. My partner, who is familiar with mezcal, confirmed that's what it tasted like. We waited about 15 minutes before the server returned (at this point we were halfway through our food). I politely mentioned that I believed the drink was actually a pineapple mezcal. Instead of clarifying or apologizing, she responded by repeating that she had already told me it would be smoky, which came across as dismissive. At that point, since we were nearly finished eating, I said it was okay and simply asked to order a peach cocktail instead. She walked away and then returned saying she would get the manager, which was confusing because I wasn't escalating anything -- I just wanted to order another drink. About 20 minutes later, the manager came over. By then, we had finished eating and were almost done with the drink. The first thing she said was, "Well, your drink looks about gone," which immediately felt accusatory. My partner calmly explained the misunderstanding -- that I ordered a Moscow mule, the server likely heard mezcal, and there was a miscommunication. The manager simply repeated the situation back to us without offering much resolution. I never received the second drink I ordered. Overall, the food was fine, but the service and handling of a simple misunderstanding made this one of the worst experiences I've had at a Cheesecake Factory. Service is beyond SLOW! We got to the front counter @815 seated @9:00, didn't get but 1 drink a Long Island until 9:45, waited on the coke for the second drink until 10pm. I took a walk around and they were at about 88-89% compactly. Bar was at 100%, outdoor seating about 50%. Saw about 4 large parties of at least 14 people each. Wait staff looked to be about 70% full however there were people standing around while guest at about 15 tables I could count waited on food or to pay tickets. read more

Really bad service in the multiple times I've dined in: busy or not. However, the food usually hits the mark but on two separate occasions it was severely overcooked--almost inedible, including today which will mark my last time patronizing this location. Overall if you want to dine for an affordable price on a slow or non busy day like Monday or Tuesday this location is ok but in my opinion, it's not worth it. Tried it again for delivery - got the chicken piccata. I was looking forward to it because I haven't had it in a while. I know the food is usually a hit or miss so that's why I stick to cheesecake. I was really excited because the portions were huge but as soon as I opened it, I noticed that the chicken was white, no seasoning, no crust, nothing just white. Also under the box was really oily which is weird because nothing was leaking. I tried the pasta and it was bland as well. I tried to put truffle hot sauce on it to try to make it better but it didn't help (that's the red sauce in the picture). Tried to give it two bites, couldn't do anymore after that. The portion sizes were actually great and at least I know that cheesecake will be consistently good, but probably won't be ordering the food again. The brown bread is always a hit too.
