I had ordered the special that had Carne Asada and I got probably three pieces of Carne Asada that were 1x2. After talking to the manager, he gladly supplemented my dish with more Carne Asada. That's the way to keep a customer happy! Now the objective would be to try not to have to complain and for the dish to come with sample Carne Asada to begin with! I always enjoy our server there. I've been to this location several times, but I feel like every time I go, I like it a little less. We went around lunchtime on a Friday and it was crowded but we got seated pretty quickly. The music was so loud and bass-heavy. It was really annoying. Most of the folks there were families with little ones or senior citizens, so I'm not sure who that music was for but it made it hard to talk. Our waitress was really attentive at first and then it was hard to get what we asked for or see her again. We had to ask for lemon for our water twice before getting it. We asked for a box at the end and then she never came back, so we had to go up to the front to ask for one. The iced coffee was just okay, nothing special for the price. The menu is very meat-heavy. And the few vegetarian items have the exact same veggies and cheese, so if you don't like sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese, you're out of luck. I get that it probably makes it easier for the kitchen, but some varied vegetarian options would be amazing. I got the smoked salmon frittata, which was just ok. Too many tomatoes, not enough salmon. I also wanted more sour cream or something for it. I subbed grits for the salad, and they too were just ok, pretty bland. My dad got the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were huge (two meals) and he really enjoyed them. My mom got half a veggie sandwich, which had at least an inch on raw spinach on it, and half a sweet honey pecan salad (without chicken or bacon). The salad was actually really good. Added our selves to the waitlist. And checked in not shortly afterwards. Was told it was a 35 min wait. Wait turned into almost 45 (might have been longer if hadn't asked about an empty table outside that was also empty when we first got there. After ordering and seeing three tables around us sit down after us and order after us we proceed to wait 30+ more minutes for our food while all of the tables around us get their food in normal time. No one comes to inform us of why our food is not out yet until I ask another waiter because ours is no where to be found. Once we get it 10 mins later we just ask for boxes because we had somewhere else to be and now our plans are behind trying to get breakfast. First watch at Cumberland Plwy have made some drastic changes to their restaurant design. They have strategically made greater usage of space. The front entrance has been resigned as well as the restroom front entrances. It just makes sense. I chose the traditional breakfast with turkey sausage and a Belgian waffle. For the beverage I had a morning mediation. My first round of over easy eggs came out overly hard, but my server Trinity stepped up and had the chef whip together a set of perfectly timed easy eggs. It was epic. How many times have we dined out and had to get something replaced and it came at the end of the dining experience? My food was still warm when the eggs came out. I was grateful. I actually like First Watch at this location. The food is healthier than most breakfast spots in Atlanta. First Watch focuses on Non-GMO dishes which all restaurants should have this as a requirement. The drink are always fresh and in good taste. I give this experience 4.5 starships. I ordered the Power Breakfast Bowl to go and was very clear that I did not want eggs, meat, sausage, cheese, or any other animal products because I wanted it to be a vegan meal. When I got home and opened my order, it had eggs in it. I've been coming to this location for the past two years, and I've never had such a disappointing experience. The service was also much slower than usual. We waited about 15 minutes just to receive our coffee and water, and then my order was still prepared incorrectly. They do not scrape the overcooked pieces away . It is hit or miss when you order the potatoes in the restaurant or to go. I thought I would try the new little biscuits with honey butter. We frequently visit this First Watch location, but unfortunately our last two visits have been very disappointing. Although we were seated promptly, we were not greeted by our server for several minutes. On both occasions, I had to return to the hostess stand after waiting 5-10 minutes just to get assistance. During our most recent visit, the waitress assigned to our table made eye contact with me multiple times but never came over. When I went back to the hostess stand, another staff member--who was not our assigned server--assisted us right away and was very pleasant. Overall, the service has been extremely slow lately. It also took quite a while for our food to arrive. I observed that the waitress assigned to us had other tables nearby that she also did not check on consistently. She took their orders and delivered beverages, but did not return until their food was ready and it was time for payment. Manager Eddie did come by toward the end of our meal, listened to our concerns, and comped our meal, which we appreciated. He was professional and attentive. We hope to see improvements in service soon. If not, we will have to reconsider dining at this location in the future read more

I saw people come in after me, get quotes 45 mins to an hour and then get seated in 5-10 minutes. When I approach the host stand I explained the explanation was "looks can be deceiving" as there is an online wait option. After re-explaining myself I was met with a blank stare. Additionally, I saw several tables available, inside and outside. They were cleaned and anyone who had a party of 2 could have sat there....they just seemed to not be in use? One table was cleaned and sitting vacant for 15 minutes. If "looks can be deceiving" it's really important to ensure that the looks make sense to people who are inside and outside of your organization....Don't have empty tables. Quote accurate times and set expectations for customers upon check-in. Maybe even consider removing the online wait list. read more

I came on a Sunday so it was crowded, but I joined the waitlist before heading there so that made my wait pretty short.
