Service was great, everyone was very friendly. Food was good, and they played great music. Would definitely come back.

2nd time here and my meal was as good as the first time. We came for lunch and the place was empty except for a few patrons. We got seated right away and the waiter came right over. He offered some menu recommendations and we went with a few of them. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the crab beignets on the day I went.. but I did get the Mardi gras pasta and my bestie got the crawfish fettuccine and the crab cake egg rolls. Everything was really flavorful, I will absolutely be returning to try something else.

Was very disappointed in the pasta, no flavor, barely any protein that I was told was in it was shrimp, crawfish tails, and lobster. I never tasted any lobster very few crawfish tails and the shrimp that you see on top is all there was for $34. I feel like there should be more flavor, maybe a piece of bread with it. Very very sad. I did try the oysters that were on special. Those tasted fine. Service was fine. a lot of conversation about dirty dishes, but being left out the night before and not being washed that you could hear from the bartender's upfront. Was not a good thing to hear after you had ordered food. I'm not for sure how long you have been open, but maybe you might need to do some more training of what to talk about upfront in front of customers first time visiting.

D'Juan's Bistro did not disappoint. I had the Big C's rice bowl and the oysters, and both were on point. The flavor was bold and authentic New Orleans. You can tell it's made with care. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the food was just flat out good. I'll definitely be back.

I have an update to my review. Since they have now moved to West Village. I went in there first day open in West Village and it was packed. I finally was able to get a seat a the bar. It took them awhile for them to clean off the area from the people before me. I ordered the oysters and shrimp and catfish patter. The oysters were good the platter was just okay. No seasoning or flavor. I hope they are able to get more organized from a service perspective. There seemed to be a lot of confusion and disorganization with the wait staff which i hope they get it figured out.

My mother and I visited for the first time for lunch 3/26/26. We truly enjoyed everything about our dinning experience. The service is top tier, even the manager makes her rounds and greets guests and ensures the patrons were enjoying themselves. Our server was excellent, but I also want to add that everyone working there seemed to be very attentive even if they weren't your assigned server and I was impressed by that! Now on to the food.... Delicious! We literally truly enjoyed every tapa we tried. If you order anything with crab you get really crab meat and plenty of it. The sauce on those crunch crab fries was perfection... I really wish I couldn't make it myself lol! The margaritas flight is worth every cent as mother and I were in the "Christmas Spirit" lol as we left . Truly though the drinks are tasty. I look forward to my next visit here... I'm already craving those crab fries again!

I was worried based on some of the reviews but ended up pleasantly surprised. Service was good and so was the food. Not sure it's worth the high prices though.

I was in the area and looking for someplace to grab a quick bite. D'juan's had good yelp reviews in the food pictures looked delicious, so it was a no-brainer to try. The restaurant is in a strip mall that is kind of tucked away. It's not easy to see from the street. The first thing I noticed when I pulled into the parking lot is that most of the storefront seem to be closed. A gentleman who walked in directly before me was asking the hostess about how long they would be in this location. I did not hear the full answer, but it seems that maybe the strip mall is closing down in the businesses there maybe all relocating. I'm not sure if this is true, so don't quote me on it. However, it was very curious that at 5 PM on a Thursday, everything else would already be closed, including other restaurants. Because I was ordering to go, I ordered at the bar. The waitress had some trouble with the tablet and card reader, so it took a while to check out, but she was pleasant throughout the transaction. Because I was paying close attention, I was able to catch that she originally rung me up for a different platter than I'd ordered. I'm glad I caught that ahead of time so that I wasn't disappointed when my food came. Around the bar top, they have small signs noting that there is an automatic 20% gratuity on all orders. I'm glad I saw that ahead of time so that I was not surprised by the up charge. I visited the restroom while I waited for my food to come out. There are separate single use restrooms for men and women. It was clean enough and well stocked. My food came out pretty quickly, and I went to my car to take a few bites before starting my hour long drive home. Honestly, the food was just okay. I wouldn't drive 50 to 60 minutes just to eat here, but I would try it again if I was with someone who wanted to come here. I just would not order the same thing. If I got the catfish again, I would try it grilled. I had a fried catfish platter and a side of crawfish mac & cheese. All of it was edible, but none of it was excellent. Overall, the portion sizes are a bit smaller than the prices would suggest. When I ordered the crawfish mac & cheese, the waitress asked me if I wanted the side or the entrée. I had not noticed the entrée before this; however, the question made me look for it. There was about a 5 to 7 dollar price difference between the two. Once I received the side, I did wonder how big the entrée would have been.

Decided to try D'Juan's Bistro now that they moved to a larger location. We sat outside which was nice. Our server was attentive and provided the specials. The crab eggrolls were great ythe poboy was disappointing. It had a lot of smaller sized shrimp, fried very hard. For the price, I would have rather had less shrimp if they were larger. The red beans and rice, while a small serving size for the price, were good and seasoned just shy of being too salty. I like the location and will try them again but maybe try the catfish poboy instead.

Makes reservations!! I started off with a cup of gumbo. I didn't like it...Tasted like box Roux. I then had the oysters which I also didn't care for. Being from New Orleans, I have very high expectations for food, especially when they slap the "New Orleans" name on it. My entree was the catfish platter which came with shrimp and fries. The platter was good! The filets were large, enough to eat on twice. I also had the "Riverwalk" drink which was good as well. Restaurant is kind of small and can fill up pretty fast. Music was too loud, I could barley here my server and he could barley hear me.

Cons: They need a larger establishment! Wait time Pros: Everything else I say on most of my reviews Instagram popularity will lead you into the middle of nowhere trying to get some food. In this case, Instagram was right I was looking for an oyster special and they popped up. We came on a Wednesday for the oyster specials. The oysters are so good. The size the charbroil everything about those oysters are delicious. Getting to the oysters was the nerve wrecking part. Dwight was almost an hour for a party of two. We ended up being able to sit at the bar. I initially thought it was because it was AKA Founders Day which is why the restaurant was so busy but apparently this is a reoccurring thing every Wednesday for their special. Our server was actually the bartender. She's very nice and very knowledgeable about everything weasked. I personally had two orders of the oysters- the first ones were so good and went so quick My girlfriend and I split our drink flight. The drinks were strong and worth the money. The mac & cheese was OK. I wasn't as excited about it as I thought I would be. . If they open another location or if I'm in the area on a Wednesday I'll definitely be back for those oysters though.

The gumbo is an insult to the Creole cooking tradition. It was watered down with no meat to be found, other than a few shreds of chicken and a few thin pieces of sausage. Sad that I had to leave there and go to Copeland's to get something that remotely resembled gumbo. If you truly know and love Creole cooking, make the drive to Louisiana Bistro.

Me and four girlfriends came on a Friday night at 7. I would highly suggest making a reservation if you're going on a weekend because this place is tiny. Honestly the tables are very close together and felt like a fire hazard to me lol. Anyways everyone except for me order the margarita flight which I believe was $30. You get four mini beer glasses of marg in each with a choice in flavoring. Baby these were SHOTS lol I would suggest ordering a cup of ice on the side to water them down because they are strong (someone at my table let me have one). For an appetizer, I ordered the crab cake egg rolls and that's when I got pissed off lol. When they dropped those two tiny spring roll sized egg rolls that I paid $20 for in front of me I almost lost it. They were tasty but definitely not worth the price. The chargrilled oysters are very flavorful but I'm not an oyster fan to begin with so they were ok to me. The crab cake was the best thing that hit our table. It was seasoned perfectly and the sauce with it is great as well. As for my entree I ordered the bayou bowl and it was ok. The shrimp were kinda small and I barely got any crab and it was very lemon-y which I didn't love. The portion size was not worth $36 for sure. My friend ordered the crawfish mac-n-cheese and it had zero flavor so we sent it back and she got something else. My other friend ordered the lamp chops and they were burnt so that got sent back to. Our server was the sweetest and really tried to accommodate us and apologized for the issues. Wish I remembered her name! She even got us complimentary beignets. Overall i would not be coming back. The food is not worth the price at all.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

It made us stop and ask, "what is this place and this absolutely delicious-looking sandwich?!" The rest is history. We ordered yummy fried chicken pieces and a bbq chicken sandwich. It cured our souls. We asked the generous, wonderful lady at the counter about the story of Delilah's: was she a real person, who is she, etc. her answers made us fall in love even more... this is a genuine, family-owned and operated enterprise! We love, love, loved our food and I can't wait to go back and soport again!!! You gotta try it.
