My family and I just had dinner at this location. We have eaten at The Cheesecake Factory restaurant all over the USA. We had hoped to have another good experience within this franchise, but that didn't happen. We were seated and ignored, for about 15-20 minutes until our waitress came to our table. She only asked my husband and daughter if they wanted refills of their drinks,, I had to ask for a glass of water because my lemonade was never refreshed. I tried to get her attention but she ignored me again! Finally, as she was walking away from our table my husband got her attention and she brought me a small water! We are accustomed to all of the family entrees served together, so we let that go. Yet, the service continued to get worse. My husband ordered desserts while our daughter and I went to the ladies' room. I asked the waitress to add, 2 Mac and Cheese meals and a Strawberry Shortcake dessert. The two additional meals I ordered to go for our teenage sons were side portions ( not entree-sized) and the Strawberry Shortcake came with burnt rock-solid biscuits!! The prices are kind of high but the portions are large, and they do have to cover the cost of having 10,000 ingredients at all times to make all of their extensive menu items. The seating here is mostly booths with a section of banquette / chair tables. The biggest reason to go here is the cheesecake. They have a large dessert menu and basically anything you choose will be delicious. I swear the to-go slices are smaller than the eat-in slices, but it might also just be my local location cutting them smaller (shrug). My husband ordered online and picked up food on Valentine's day. I got the chicken piccata with rice instead of noodles. My husband got the fish and chips. My chicken piccata had at least 4 cups of rice with it! My husband fish and chips portion was very small, more for a child than an adult. This spot seems to be a staple for anyone traveling from Fayetteville! We arrived right at 8:45 and were seated right away. It was a little dark for our "old people" eyes but our girls are spring chickens and had no issue reviewing videos from the game that evening. We were seated immediately. While our server was nice and friendly it took him a while to greet our table. The bread was delicious as always! My husband and I just walked in and then walked out of Cheesecake Factory at Woodland Hills Mall. There were 4 employees at the hostess desk. The actual hostess was on the phone. What appeared to be a manager (Amanda) assisted a group of 3 ladies and had another employee escort them to their table. My husband and I stood at the hostess table for a good full minute, no acknowledgement from Amanda, the hostess who was still on the phone, and another employee. Zero acknowledgement from 3 employees! That alone is unacceptable, but then.... A group of approximately 10 people came in, Amanda IMMEDIATELY acknowledged them. This is when my husband and I requested to know the name of the woman who completely ignored us (Amanda) and we turned and left. My husband and I have zero tolerance for this type of behavior and are contacting the restaurant as well as their corporate office.
