2 weeks before Christmas may be the wrong time to try a restaurant. We were there for a Christmas party. Our menu was limited and orders were placed in advance. My wife and I each ordered the salmon. Others at the table had filet or chicken or a pasta dish. There were a few glitches, mostly due to miscommunication. My salad and entree had to be returned when the dairy was not excluded. But both were delicious after being corrected. One diner at our table received a filet that was over cooked. His was also replaced and he was satisfied. Drinks were well made. My Manhattan seemed especially strong. We liked the comfortably elegant atmosphere. We will return in January to order from the full menu, hopefully at a less busy time. Located in gated, age restricted community of Arlington Ridge. SERVICE: 5 STARS Harmony did great. Wife was unfamiliar with the Elton John song of the same name so I Spotified it after we left. AMBIENCE: 4 STARS Country club sort of atmosphere. BURGER / FRIES / COLESLAW: 4.25 STARS Nicely charred. The coleslaw was above average, I suspect they make it themselves. FRENCH TOAST / BACON: 4.5 STARS Yummy, and thick bacon cooked just right. VALUE: 4 STARS Nice prices, not this " market price" nonsense that is starting to pop up everywhere, and not for seafood either. read more

I love the food and the service. Love the Saturday evening prime rib. It is quiet and very nice low music in the restaurant side.

My mom and I came in for dinner a few evenings ago. The salmon and chicken were succulent and flavorful, cooked perfectly. The protein was the star of the show, however the sides were amazing as well--fresh vegetables with mashed potatoes. Let's not forget the friendly and attentive wait staff, they did a wonderful job. We sat in the dining room, nice ambience. Very pleasant dinning experience, we will definitely be back! read more

Great atmosphere to have a refreshing drink and fulfilling food after playing a terrific golf course, Arlington Ridge Golf Course. Dawn, our server, was on the spot with our drinks and refills after an exhausting round of golf in the hot Florida sun. The Ruben sandwich was delicious & the cheeseburger was hot and fresh. Not a good night out at The Chesapeake Bay Grille. So mom ordered the BLT and I ordered the "Meat Lover's Pizza. After approximately 15 minutes or so, our waitress advised that there was an issue with the pizza and "it wasn't cooked all the way through." At that point I told her to disregard attempting another pizza and indicated that I would have another selection. The food quality was good, no issues there. Upon completing supper, we requested a carryout container along with the check. After a considerable amount of time, in which I didn't observe our server, I flagged down another restaurant employee to inquire as to her whereabouts. The employee had me describe her appearance and said she would go find her. Our server appeared a short time later with the carryout box, and described the dessert selections (pumpkin cheesecake and brownie ala mode). We both declined dessert and requested the check. Moments later I was given the check and observed a charge for brownie ala mode. I raced around the bar, as well as the adjoining restaurant to find our waitress. Once located, I alerted her to the charge. She took my copy of the bill to the computer, had another one spit out, which I signed. No apology, regrets for the added charge appearing on there, zilch. Needless to say, after settling up, we were on our way with no desire to return, at least anytime soon. read more

Prime Rib was dry, no aus jus , veggies over cooked, mashed potatoes runny. GM rude and disrespectful. Offered nothing but excuses instead of solution and got loud and obnoxious when he said he was told that we called him a name....really...are you 4!?!? YOU are a manager....very sad! not recommended! First time here. I was driving through on business dreading the prospect of fast food and found this place on Yelp. Glad I did. The wings were crispy and the (hot) sauce had the perfect heat. The cheddar cauliflower soup was great. The sweet potato fries were perfectly fried - crisp on the outside, soft in the middle. The blackened shrimp tasted like they'd been cooked on an outdoor grill. Service was great as well. If I'm ever driving through again, I'll definitely be back. This location is inside a retirement community, but it IS open to the public. read more

Lobster dinner was excellent! Potatoes were flavorful and tender. The rice pilaf was perfectly seasoned. The carrot curry soup was amazing!!

This is a good restaurant, especially for the area. By that I mean that they are not a "Corn dog and catfish Shak" type place nor are they a chain restaurant. The ambiance is good; formal enough but a relaxed atmosphere. The food is good with a varied menu. The lounge is also nice. This is located in the retirement community of Arlington Ridge, serving both the residents and golfers. They have many activities that occur in the lounge area such as karaoke and trivia. This could be a great restaurant. They're close but don't quite make it to that level. read more

We played mid afternoon golf and I had called earlier in the week to confirm our party of 8 would be able to eat after. We arrived about 6:00 and were seated in the bar area. My husband and I were immediately served beverages but our remaining party who arrived about 10 minutes later weren't as lucky. After about a 10 minute wait (and talk of leaving) a waiter was sent over to get a drink order. This really was the only hiccup. There was only the one server and a bartender. He did a great job and was very friendly. Orders ranged from shrimp scampi, homemade onion rings and grilled hot dog, philly cheese steak, BLT, pulled pork and a meat lovers pizza. Overall, the only disappointment was with the shrimp scampi which lacked sauce. My onion rings were thick and crunchy yummy! The cheesesteak sandwich was also very good but would have been better with a horseradish sauce. It was just a bit dry but flavorful. Pizza was enjoyed, also. We plan to play here again and will be happy to eat here again! Didn't get our server's name; but, he was great. He kept me in boom boom sauce which I am now obsessed with. So good! read more

Love going to this restaurant. The chef is awesome. He comes out and will ask you how you enjoy the meal. He takes pride in his presentation of dishes he serves. He even asked me if I had a favorite dish. I recommended eggplant parmigiana. The next week it was on the menu. The dining room is very nice, clean, spacious. The waitress Terry is a lot of fun. She is great. The food is really good. I have had about everything on the menus. Highly recommend The Chesapeake Bay Grille. read more

This restaurant is located inside of a gated community, but the gate guard will let you in if you tell them you are going to the restaurant. It is easy to find. Just follow the signs pointing to the restaurant. I had the spinach salad with blackened chicken and it was excellent. The service was also excellent. read more

We moved to Arlington Ridge a few months ago and finally enjoyed a dinner at the Chesapeake Grill. We were greeted right away and the service was great. We both had fettuccine - I had chicken and my husband had the shrimp. It was enough for two meals each, and worthy of the second round. My chicken was just a tad dry but okay. Hubby said the shrimp was perfect. The sauce was very good and fettuccine cooked to perfection. We were tempted by desserts....chocolate brownie with ice cream for him and key lime pie for me. Both were sinful but worth the extra calories. Our next visit will be a pizza run....it looked yummy. read more

Ate at this restaurant after winning a bogo entree at a tennis tournament. Although the food was good it took over an hour and a half to receive our food. When I tried to use my gift, the manager was very rude and accused us of making it ourselves and refused to honor it. She was incredibly rude. Would not recommend based on the service and management. read more
