Came here looking for a breakfast/lunch place and of course I searched YELP for the best place for that. HWY 441 Diner is located in a strip mall, plenty of parking out front with a couple of tables in front of the diner. Inside is decorated just like any diner you would expect. Both table & booth seating available. Lunch is available after 10 AM. I arrived just before 10 AM and I as able to order the Triple Decker (Club Sandwich) and the Two Egg breakfast special. Food good and friendly service. This is a little hole in the wall place and could be missed if your not looking for it. However if you are wanting a diner experience then visit. Extensive menu available with Burgers, Pizza, Salad, Subs and Pasta just to give you an idea.

This was the Hunger Burger with fries. Let's just say, not hungry anymore.

The coffee was hot. The food was tasty. The music was perfect for the place. Our waitress was cool! There's nothing bad to say about this place.

Good atmosphere Family friendly Decent homey foods Our order was incorrect Mashed potatoes and gravey instead French fries and gravey No bread served until requested Hush puppies were cold Pork tenderloin was (very) fatty 3 stars may be to generous but could have been an off night for this place.

I've been wanting to try this place and finally stopped in. This is in the strip mall with JoAnn's fabrics. The decor is all set up to look like a 50s diner, including the music. That's the best part of the experience. I ordered the pork tenderloin with hush puppies and a baked potato. Got a sweet tea since they didn't have come zero. The park tenderloin was huge, but very fatty/gristly. Taste was ok if you can get past that. The 5 hush puppies were room temperature. Usually they are served piping hot so that was odd. They tasted ok. The baked potato was small, but good. There was supposed to be a diner roll which the server didn't bring. When asked she said " oh I should have asked, most people don't want them so I didn't bring them". WTH!? She wasn't a great server needless to say. I was not impressed and won't be back.

Been a while since I've been there. Found it now to be looking old and dated, kind of dirty. Food is overpriced and not so great.

Salt your grits while they cook. I thought this was the South. No southern cook for southerners would serve unsalted grits.

Always consistent home cooked food. Try the open roast beef sandwich or mamas fried chicken. Both are delicious

Food was good. Warm inside dining room. Service good. Chairs at tables were uncomfortable. Probably take food to go next time.

50s restaurant with good food and some gluten free options - loved the ambiance and 50s vibe. Good service. Reasonable prices!

Good food and a great variety on the menu. Servers were fighting each other and made us feel like we were an imposition.

Despite being busy, the service was great. Very attentive. We had the bacon and cheese biscuits with house made pimento cheese to start. Everything was delicious! The biscuits were fresh, warm, and flavorful. The menu had fun names for their entrées, and I can't remember mine, but I ordered fried grit cakes topped with fried green tomatoes and a perfectly cooked egg that when popped, oozed delicious yellow yolk over the beautiful creation. It came with a side of bacon and I chose bacon maple biscuit. You definitely have to try the bacon maple biscuit, it is like dessert! So delicious. We will definitely come back and try more!

I looked to the left and there was Twisted Biscuit, I quickly made a U Turn and opened Yelp to check the reviews. I ordered the Biscuit and chicken which came with one biscuit and 2 pieces of chicken, also had some spicy honey on there. when I tell you this is the best Chicken Biscuit I've ever had. the Biscuit was soft and a little crispy around the edges and the Chicken was cooked perfectly. Dip that in the honey and pure perfection!! I ordered to go but lots of seating to dine in, waited about 10mins and the service was good. I can't wait to be back in this area to go back.

They have all the breakfast items you can imagine and a whole bunch of lunch and dinner options as well. Their menu continues to expand. We, of course, went for breakfast and had our choice of eggs and bacon and grits and pancakes ... but what stood out for me was the biscuits and gravy and the SOS. If you don't know what SOS stands for, look it up... it's a great breakfast item. The SOS is not the same as the biscuits and sausage gravy because that is sausage gravy, the SOS has chipped beef in gravy and usually will come on toast, but I prefer it with the biscuits. I asked for my eggs over easy and they were just right. The side of grits comes in a small bowl which is a good portion for one person and the pancakes were humongous - a very good size for two pancakes and golden brown... I ended up sharing with my wife. We were very happy with the service that they gave us and one of the managers came around to see if everything was good or if we needed anything and we really appreciated that. This is a very down to earth place where it feels like home. It's a great place to bring the family, and we did see a lot of people with their kids, but, we also saw couples like myself and my wife sharing some good coffee or sweet tea and loving life. We are definitely coming back because I wanna try the teriyaki chicken plates and I'm very interested in the shrimp and scallops.
