Pretty terrible manicure. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes to do a regular pedicure and gel manicure (I had no polish on my fingers nor toes). The nail tech painted the nail, got polish all around my cuticle, then cleaned it with a stick + cotton swab and acetone, and did this 3-4x. The edges of the nail are not painted all the way, and you can see in the photo the polish remains in the cuticle. I will not return. read more

There is a wall full of bottles of Rose' not offered until after my feet were all cut up, and sore. It took this tech almost 2 whole hours! . I'd give no stars if that were an option. THESE NAIL TECHS ARE INEXPERIENCED AND THEY WILL INJURE YOU PICTURES BELOW I am all for supporting new businesses, but this place is just not it. I am a nail/hair/massage snob and I know when a place is good, or "luxury" as this one claims it is. "Luxury" nail salon, yet they have a fake Chanel bag hanging from the ceiling. Such a tacky look. The salon having 0 customers should have been my sign to RUN. This is a wannabe luxury salon, but it is actually cheap and janky. First issue, general manger over the phone told me that I would be getting my nails and toes done at the same time which turned out to be a LIE. When I arrived, only one lady was working on my nails and toes. There were 2 workers, one being the general manager. The general manager was there but instead of doing her job, she was doing her own nails...The manager will lie to you over the phone just to get customers into their dead, irrelevant salon. An hour later, a different client came in to do her nails with the general manager. So all that time she could've been working on me instead of prioritizing herself. Do better, ur nails aren't as important as the customers, they also looked like crap anyways Because of this, my manicure and pedicure literally took 3 hours. YES 3 HOURS ALMOST 4. I had an appointment around 3 and left at 6. My brain felt fried by the end of it. They will claim it takes long because it is a "Russian manicure" but not even Russian manicures take this long! Second issue, the nail tech working on me would not stop injuring me. Pictures below. She was not gentle whatsoever, actually quite barbaric. Every single finger I kid you not, she was hurting me. Ripping my skin off with the cuticle cutters or burning me with the nail shaver. I kept saying "ow" and would flinch until I finally spoke up and told her that she kept hurting me. There was a language barrier since I don't speak Spanish. The manager standing right next to us heard me, looked at what was happening, and didn't even think of checking up on me or translating what I said to the lady. The injuring didn't stop. Even with my toes. It was miserable but after being in there so long I just put up with it because I wanted to leave so bad. Every finger/toe she had to put the solution that makes you stop bleeding. It was that bad. Third issue, the nails are not durable and broke on the first few days. They have a weird shape if you look at them from the side. The manager who loves to act like she does a good French tip, actually does horrible. She did my French tip and also applied one gel x nail tip to my finger. When she did she pushed the nail so far down into my cuticle it hurt rlly bad. Not gentle at all just like the other tech! The chairs they have set up aren't proper pedicure chairs. Just some cheapo-depo chairs lined up with sinks installed in the floor. Oh, you wanted a back massage and to recline ur chair while ur getting ur toes done? Don't expect that here at this janky, low end salon. Expect to come here and be disappointed. Place claims it's luxury but located in a town with extremely high crime rate. "I32% higher than the national average" google claims. No thanks, I don't want my car broken into while I'm getting a horrible manicure and pedicure. Or to be robbed as I'm coming out. I will stick to luxury salons that aren't in high-crime rate areas, and that have properly trained employees. That have proper pedicure chairs and a sink in the bathroom that isn't clogged Having those Kirkland champagnes hung up on the wall with a fake Chanel bag hanging from the ceiling is NOT giving and it's NOT a flex. Assuming everything in there is from DHgate at this point lol. If they did a good job, I would not be putting them on blast but this has to be done. Unprofessional deceitful manager. Both of them should have their licenses revoked. Come here if you have no standards and nothing to loose. Also come if you'd like to be injured non stop and spend hours getting horrible services. read more

NEVER EVER HAPPENED TO ME ever since I started to do Mani. The girl named Daniela hurt my nail and ripped my skin.. Moreover they overcharged me the half price without any kind of inform. I came in to the Chic Beauty Bar for a quick fix -- my nails were in desperate need to remove the Gel polish. So this review is only on gel removal (not a full mani) I called ahead of time and on a Friday around 2:30 the salon was pretty empty. Karen help me with my removal and she was so gentle and took her time removing the gel. I would recommend seeing her -- she's very kind and professional. The salon itself is cute inside the parking was a little hard to find and only has 4 spots dedicated to the salon. Good salon option if you're in the area! read more

Let me begin by saying that this is a beautiful salon aesthetically. However, this has to be one of the worst nail jobs I've ever received in my 20 year tenure of getting my nails done! Although I do love a nail tech that takes their time, it took her three hours to soak off an acrylic overlay from my natural nails and do a new overlay on my natural nails (no nail tips or extensions added). She was extremely nice but didn't seem to be all that great with services. It is difficult finding nail techs that actually know the skill and art of doing nails. After paying $93 for soak off and acrylic overlay plus $20 tip, I would've expected for my nails to look amazing. The manager has an abrasive manner and staff continuously behaved in a passive aggressive way while offering poor service. After having my expensive no-chip manicure done just four days ago, my polish has already chipped on two fingers which is highly unusual for me. The work is very unprofessional and the prices are ridiculous for such bad nail work. Also, a manicure should take no more than 45 minutes, even with a polish removal. If you do stop in, expect to be there at least 90 minutes for a manicure and 3 + hours for a mani/pedi. Time and money wasted. read more
