I was hoping to obtain an appointment for my senior dog. Our normal groomer was retiring, and I was thinking that having him only having to go to a mobile van would alleviate some stress with his age and new person. I first used the contact form from the Mobile Paw Spas website and after no response- initiated email communication September 11, 2022.
On September 12, 2022, I heard back, via email, with an apology due to traveling. The email indicated that my address was needed. I responded with my address on September 13, 2022.
Once again on September 17, 2022, I reached out once more looking to hear back from the Mobile Paw Spa owner sending her my address and once again no response.
I finally heard back on Monday, September 19, 2022, offering me an appointment on September 21, 2022.
Unfortunately, with slow responses and life I was not able to accept that date. I did indicate that although I could not take that date, I was more than willing to work with her as to scheduling an alternate date hoping that it could be done in two to three weeks going forward.
My intent was that if I showed definite interest in working with her service our schedules would align and I could get services for my senior dog. I also apologized for not being able to accept her first offer after being enthusiastic about wanting to work with her. That was the last time I received any response from the owner of Jens Mobile Paw Spa.
I do understand that I am not one of her regular clients and am only a potential client and if she has a thriving business I can more than expect that the response to any communication would not be immediate. I never expected it would and have no problem waiting. Yet I do feel any type of response was due!
October 3, 2022, in my last email I indicated that it seemed that once the appointment offered was not accepted that she had washed her hands regarding doing any business with me.
It is as if there is a personal bias. If I had been rude, or argumentative in my communication or not apologetic for my inability "to jump" at the first offered appointment then it would make sense. That is not the case.
