The biggest pro about this place for me was that the staff was super nice and very friendly. They were so polite when answering all of our questions and letting us know the different times that certain activities would be happening. That being said, this did not feel like a $12 a person experience to me. From what we visited, I think there were about 5 separate rooms (although I've heard there might have been one more down a narrow hallway that I thought was just for staff). The main room had how everyday items work (like toilets and showers) and a giant Lite Bright, another room had a carousel and fake bus you could sit in, another room was all dinosaurs, another had farm-like things, another was the stem lab where you could crate a track for wooden balls to fall through, there was a room with a giant stage with dimmable lights and a working microphone and then they had an arts and crafts room where the kids can paint (we painted cardboard apples). My kid enjoyed the theater room where they could dress up and put on a show with the dimmable lights, he enjoyed painting and seeing the dinosaurs .. other than that, the appeal wore off quickly. There's also a train parked next to the museum that we couldn't access. Would have been cool to be able to do that. There was definitely a lot of room for pretend play but my son isn't that into that, so it was a short visit. They do offer a lot of discounts (military, EBT, etc) that can bring the price down a bit - in which case I'd say it's a fun quick outing, but not worth the full $12 for me.

Decided to take my grandson here for the day. He had a great time. There was lots of activities for him to do. He really enjoyed the dinosaur area and looking at all the little animals. It was very interactive. It kept his attention, especially the room where you get to dress up It's really great for kids. My only complaint is it is very messy in some areas and unkept, but I am glad that throughout everywhere they do have stations to clean your hands It's a fun experience

Great Spot for Younger Kids and Pretend Play. We recently visited this children's museum and had a fun time overall. It was very easy to find, located right across from a small community water park, which is a bonus if you're planning a full day of family activities. I really appreciated that they offered a discounted admission with my EBT/food stamps card--it made it more affordable for our family of four (me, my partner, our 1-year-old, and our 9-year-old). The staff were friendly and actively walked around cleaning during open hours, which made me feel like the place was well-sanitized and cared for. In terms of activities, this museum seems best suited for younger children--probably under 5 or 6. Our toddler loved the dress-up areas and pretend play zones, and the art station was a nice touch to let kids be creative. However, my 9-year-old got bored fairly quickly as there weren't many exhibits geared toward older kids. One thing to note: there's a train display outside which is fun to look at but not rideable, and the outside area is not enclosed. That means if you have a little one who tends to wander, you'll need to keep a close eye as the area leads directly to the street. Overall, it's a cool little place for young minds to explore, use their imagination, and burn off some energy. I'd definitely recommend it for families with toddlers or preschool-aged kids.

Educational place to spend a day or half day with little kids. Best for up to age 12, with educational exhibits and model trains. More reasonably priced than similar children's museums in San Diego or Pasadena.

This place is absolutely fantastic for kids including toddlers. My SIL & I have came a few times to bring my precious 2 yr. old Goddaughter & we all love this place. We can spend at least 1.5-2 hours here & you can see why. There's multiple play areas where kids can enjoy play time. My niece loves going from one exhibition to the next. There's a lot of interesting things here. Though I'm not really a fan of taxidermy it gives kids the opportunity to see what animals look like up close up and the collection they have here is vast. There's also a stage area where kiddos can dress up. Since it's a place that kids frequently visit obviously don't expect this place to look spotless. There's spray & paper towels nearby in order for you to clean up. We bring our own hand wipes though & wash her hands frequently in order to avoid germs so I suggest you do the same. If you're looking for something fun to do with your little one, look no further. The Children's Museum is a gem. We'll be back again for sure. Thank you to the always friendly staff as well for being welcoming.

LOVED this place! During the week was perfect, easy parking right out front. We can't wait to go back. Discount with EBT available too!

Such a fun place! We met up with some friends here and the kids had a blast. There are lots of exhibits it's and rooms, enough for little kids to be busy for at least an hour and a half or two hours. Some of the favorite rooms were the theatre, train room, and the barn/kitchen. Also- I love that the carousel actually works! I wish we knew the art room closed earlier than the rest the museum. We will surely go there first next time. The staff is nice, there is parking and there are ample bathrooms.

The Children's Museum in La Habra is a great place to take little ones. They have dress up, crafts, and lots of educational toys. My two and a half year old really liked it. They also have a carousel inside for little ones. The museum isn't that large so you can get a lot done in one to two hours.

I took my family, daughter and grandson to visit the Children's museum in Dec.when they visited us .It was a perfect outing,as my grandson ran from exhibit to exhibit saying "that's amazing" he's 3 &1/2 and seemed to enjoy everything!

our daughter loved playing with this activity!!

The kids absolutely loved it when we first walked in. They had to pass the dinosaurs on the right side and they were really scared, but I thought it was really cool. they had so many cool activities for the kids and like a pretend gas station and car which they absolutely loved and stayed there for like 30 minutes. they also had a pretend Kitchen play and it was super cool and Educational. The girls really loved digging up dinosaur bones in one of the activities! there is even a pretend bus and our daughter really loved pretending to be the driver lol One room that I thought was super cool was the animals Safari room they get to dress up in zoo keeper clothes and it was really fun for the toddlers and probably even school aged kids as well The hours and admission was depending on the day you go was 10 AM to 4 PM or 10 AM to 5 PM and it wasn't really busy when we went because it was a weekday The admission was $12 per person over the age of two our favorite part of the museum was the carousel room. I think it's every hour they would open up the carousel and little kids would be able to write it. I would totally recommend going here if you have toddler aged kids it is so fun and educational or if you are in the area, absolutely loved it

I finally took my 5 yr old granddaughter yesterday. She had a blast. We both made new friends & will most likely be bringing her back along with my 1 year old twin grandsons ( maybe once they are 3 yrs old or older). I was last here with my oldest grandson back in 2017 when he was 4 1/2; he's now 12 yrs old.

    My little one enjoying himself!

So my experience will be a bit out of the ordinary since it was very very crowded there lol. Located on the corner of Pomona and Wilshire, the Fullerton Museum Center is almost like a neighborhood museum because it's surrounded by houses. There's a parking structure nearby which was free to park at, or at least it was on this day. As I said earlier it was extremely crowded and there were two lines. One to get into the concert area and one to get into the museum and it was a pain to find which was which. One we were inside, the punk rock exhibit was nicely done. Lots of cool pieces from OC punk rock royalty were on display. TSOL, DI, CH3, Agent Orange, Adolescents and Social Distortion were all front and center. I was particularly happy to see the original artwork for TSOL's "Dance With Me" album cover in the flesh. They also had lots of cool stuff in the gift shop and of course the concert itself was great! If Fullerton Museum Center brought this back or did another cool exhibit I'd certainly return. The drive isn't my favorite and the location is a bit odd but staff were friendly and helpful even though they weren't prepared for THAT many people.
