The barrage of emails only picked up in pace. I tried using the "reply to" email address they provided, thinking that the personal touch would work, only to have my email bounce back because their email box was full (likely with angry messages from recipients in a similar position). I regard the business practices of Gymboree to be unethical. Avoid these people at all costs.

But something was definitely missing. I did not feel like I "had to have" any of the clothes here. I was in the mood to buy, but there was nothing I liked!! I hate when that happens. The clothes here were affordable and the sales rack was especially cheap. My friend picked up a bunch of great stuff at super cheap prices. Because of all the sales, the store was a bit messy. Purchasing the clothes was easy because Gap had sectioned off an area that was distinctly for checking out. I'm hoping they will get a new shipment of new clothes so I can come back with a "must have" to buy.

It's impressive to see and walk around in and has almost every store and type of food you could want. I enjoyed Nordstrom, Dumplings, Ice Cream, White House Black Market, Macy's, Lululemon, etc. etc. They have all the usual chains (Victoria's Secret....) but some other boutique stores as well. Huge food court on the lowest level and a private entrance into the Ritz Carlton which is attached to the building. Super convenient if you are staying at the hotel, as I did, and I was here every day to people watch, get snacks, or just to walk the levels and get some exercise.

I spoke with the store manager, Alexandra, who repeated policy but did not take ownership of the fact that this situation was caused by a cashier error. I am not asking for anything free. My husband got me one of their beautiful ESV 2 column cloth-bound journaling Bible and few little decor pieces from them. I'd never seen anything like it. Prices are a little on the pricey side (e.g. dresses are averaging over $100). Service is fantastic--attentive and friendly. While browsing around, a lady approached me (with a floral crown) and asked if I needed any assistance.
