My daughter was gifted a jeans for her birthday and it was the wrong sized. I ask if I could exchange it for a different size but the size I needed was unavailable. The only thing she could do was for me to find something in the clearance that was same price;( $13.99) so she showed me the clearance rack and said look at the tags with $13.99 and left. I though she would help me out, but she was busy talking to her coworker in the cash wrap. I was already frustrated I could not find anything that is for $13.99. I ask if I could get a store gift card so I can get something else, Audrey said that the company do not do instore gift card without receipt. Audrey did mention that I should sell it at Facebook YardSale or eBay. I don't have time for that...I explain to her it was gifted to my daughter. Because Journeys deals in the very competitive shoe market, it's a valid question. Their "featured brands" are Converse, Timberland, Vans, Birkenstocks, Uggs, and Adidas. Okay, first, there's an entire Vans STORE in the same mall. Birks I can find in more abundance at the Active Republic. And the rest can be found at Famous Footwear, Foot Locker, and several other places in the mall. At the time I went (a week before Christmas), they didn't have any stellar sales as with others. Some good merchandise, but Journeys -- in my opinion -- falls under the category of jack of all trades, master of none.
