After a lunch nearby, I had a second and I decided to stop in. Have you ever found something that you didn't know you wanted, but the minute you held it you suddenly realized that you needed it? That's pretty much the whole premise of Hip & Humble. It's full of delightful little things that, truthfully, fill in the edges of the painting of life. Nothing here is *necessary* for human survival, yet it makes everything in life more colorful. Take for instance the cards that I found, with delightful puns on them. I love cards. I love puns. How did I not have a set of pun cards before? It boggles the mind. So with them in my hands, I knew I had to get them. Their jewelry is super on trend, and totally delightful. Their home stuff is nice. And who doesn't need a book of Craigslist Missed Connections poetry? I mean, these are the items that fill in the blanks. I haven't shopped a place like this in a while. It reminded me of a trip I took last summer to Park City. I shopped a few jewelry stores there with similar finds, a few art spots, and a bookstore. This was kind of like all of those shops combined into one small store with a compressed selection of all of them. Perfect for gifts for someone special, and perfect to take the most special one of them with you to shop.

They always make me feel welcomed :) The store is clean; well organized; and the prices are reasonable. There's plenty of parking, which is never an issue. I never leave empty handed, & I could easily spend hours browsing (I once brought my mom and she spent almost half a day here, lol). Highly recommend if you love unique finds and good vibes.

Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area looking for some local goodies as Christmas presents and made our way into Hip & Humble. The outside is very inviting-I love the color of the house-turned-retail building. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mabe, the beautiful resident dog. She happily sniffed us, let us pet her and then she went back to her duties of wandering the store. Any place that has a dog is A-OK in my book! Each item in the shop appears to have been carefully curated to be here. Nothing seems out of place or odd. I love every item and how cohesive everything feels. Up front, you'll find an assortment of knick-knacks, home goods, soaps & lotions, etc. Toward the back is a room full of unique women's clothing and accessories. The owner visited with us briefly and we felt very welcome to be there. It's a fun atmosphere with adorable items. I look forward to returning for additional gift items in the future.

Finding things, returns, pickups, or checking out. The security guard walked past me one night and yelled "THEY'RE CLOSED." Very rudely and when I walked in, one of the employees let me in. I was in and out within 5 minutes. I don't think they're all on the same page, perhaps they need additional training? Overall products good, employees, eh.

I came in a second time on my own, kind of panicking, convinced a fabric I liked was grey -- it wasn't a color I could even see correctly. Instead of brushing past that, Rubin pulled a whole new set of options built around texture and visual interest instead of color, so I could actually trust what I was choosing instead of guessing. We landed on an all-black fabric with a subtle snakeskin-like weave -- sharp, a little bit alt, completely me. I felt seen, not just fitted. Jonathan got his classic three-piece, I got my black two-piece with an edge, and somehow both of us walked away feeling completely ourselves on our wedding day. That's the job done right.

The staff in the shop are warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is as sophisticated as their suits! Caitlin Andrew was with me every appointment from the initial consultation/design phase to the fittings and alterations. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, helping break down all the subtle nuances and details that go into making a custom suit. This was my first time ever getting a custom suit, and I'm so happy that Caitlin was able to help bring my dream suit to life. Overall this was a fantastic experience and my suit will make me feel like a king on my wedding day.

I went to the Centerville Utah store to return an Amazon purchase. The information for the return…read moresaid that any Kohl's associate could handle. I didn't see any signage for returns so went to the checkout area which is where all of the associates were. While I was in line at the checkout, the people behind me were talking about how they didn't see how this location stayed in business because there were no shoppers. When I finally got to the front of the line which took about 10 minutes, I was told to take my return to the back of the store. Again, no signage about where to take returns. I went to the back and found an area for returns although no signage to indicate it was for returns. As I was standing in line again, a woman walked over to a register that appeared closed and stood there looking at me. She didn't say next or indicate that she was open for business. She then looked at me and said in a sarcastic tone, are you ready? I responded to her sarcastic tone with are you ready? It is evident why this store or Kohl's will be going out of business soon. They have gone the way of Kmart; terrible or nonexistent customer service.
