It was obvious that this piece was merely glued in place, with no stitching to back it up. I took the shoes back in to exchange, but the women working there told me that she would not accept them and gave me a national customer service number to call, which I'm sure will be very helpful. I've always had good experiences with the staff there (except for this last visit), but at the end of the day they're selling cheap products and not standing by them when they disentegrate after a few uses. The store is much bigger than it looks and you can let your kid try out the scooters and little bikes. Kids can play with blocks while parents shop. Although they generally only have one person behind the counter (this is a local small business after all), the employee was very happy to show me things in the store and give me some tips on what to consider, without being pushy. Very pleasant shopping experience. My kids love the store.

I feel like they have deceptive advertising on there. There was a sign (I posted) that said "was…read more$9.99 now $4.99" but I get up to the counter and it rings up as $29.99. The person they called couldn't even find the shorts so I show her the sign where, right there are all the shorts. "No that's for t-shirts" in TINY print you can barely read she says. The shorts are in the other side of the sign (where there is no rack by the way, except one going perpendicular). I tell the lady maybe they should put the shirts on that rack (there was literally one shirt I saw at the other end of rack and far from the sign, which she moved next to the sign once I said there aren't even any shirts on this rack). And here's an idea, put the correct price with the shorts, so it's not false advertising. The store was empty except for workers organizing racks so you'd think they'd catch that.
