The Chill Hill is a chill spot. Whether you want ice cream or frozen yogurt or even Dippin Dots, this is the place to be. Excellent option for dessert after having dinner at Gao. Clean, fast service - I'll be back for sure when visiting town.

It's been a long time since we've been here- and it was just as delicious as we remember. Service is always reliable, and the shop is in a perfect location.

Excellent service and ice cream! The hubs and I stopped by one night after dinner. The space is small, but there's indoor and outdoor seating available. They offer a nice variety of froyo flavors as well as a wide variety of toppings to choose from. They also have a decent selection of ice cream flavors. We've been here a couple times a few years ago, and enjoyed their froyo. This time, I wanted to try their ice cream. The two attendants at the time of our visit were friendly and helpful. The gentleman let us try several of their ice cream flavors. He asked what my favorite flavor was and made some really great suggestions. I actually ended up going with his recommendations. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the flavors, but one was similar to a salted caramel. It had lots of caramel in it as well as chocolate pieces, I think. The other had a coffee flavor. Both creamy and deeeelicious! The hubs opted for a self-serve froyo and loaded it up with toppings. He thoroughly enjoyed his treat. The prices are very reasonable. They charge by the froyo cup size, not by the weight. We'll definitely frequent this spot!

    Soft serve ice cream.

Our table slanted down a bit, and that was a little awkward but the benefit was that condensation rolled to the end instead of into our laps. Also my chair had two metal dog bowls underneath that made a racket whenever I moved the chair. Our server was friendly but over shared often. For my meal I had the salmon with bourbon glaze. It was cooked properly and had good flavor. The lettuce leaf under it was different; I think I could have done without. The fish came with my choice of two sides and I picked the green beans and the cornbread stuffing. Both were quite salty. The green beans were not very green and overcooked. There were two elbow macaroni mixed in. The cornbread was mushy and covered in gravy. It tasted fine, I just would have preferred more texture. Both beers were very good. I had a sour to start that was like a very tart pink lemonade. The pink color came from blueberries but I'm not sure I detected any blueberry flavor. My second beer was That Coconut Porter and it was mellow and smooth with good coconut flavor and nice dark color. There was lots of street parking and many shops and restaurants in the area. A band began playing in the taproom next to the restaurant at some time. Also a large outdoor space that was full of kids running around playing as I was going home. Looked like a fun place for everyone.

However, on our last few visits we've noticed the "housekeeping" isn't what it should be. Partially cleaned tables, dirty, smeared windows, and even sub par restrooms. There's always plenty of staff, but they're standing around with nothing immediate to do. I'm hoping if others express their concern, the situation can be turned around leading to a more enjoyable experience!!

I can recall seeing Rick hanging out working in one of his booths at the PIB location. Great casual dining room with outside patio seating available by the parking lot. What is good? Just about everything! Chicken Fingers basket with fries and honey mustard. Their honey mustard is so good and compliments their tasty crispy chicken fingers. The award winning chili (made with brewhouse beer) is VERY good and I can see why it's award winning - just need to add hot sauce if you like spicy. Buffalo Chicken Dip with carrots / celery / and what I assume are house made chips - Yummy! Smothered Chicken - this was a favorite of ours YEARS ago. I need to order it again soon. I recall it being a great combination and feels like comfort food. There is only ONE thing we ordered that I would say DO NOT ORDER ... Turkey & Dressing Dinner - I am almost certain I had it years ago when it was good - moist oven roasted turkey. This weeks turkey dinner - such a disappointment. I checked the ToGo box and saw dried out slices of turkey - I asked the manager how it was prepared and probably should have shown her - it can't be the standard of what they serve. It was DRY to begin with then thin sliced and grilled making is extremely dry. The sides however were very good - green beans - so good and the mashed potatoes & gravy plus the dressing was very good. On a positive note about the turkey - my cats enjoyed the dry chewy turkey. :) Will we go there again - YES! Highly RECOMMEND for comfort food / casual dining.

Apparently their strawberry flavor is nationally recognized, so I had to try that one. I'm not sure if they were charging normal prices at the festival, but I felt that it was a fair amount of ice cream for what I paid. At first, the strawberry tasted as it should - I wasn't amazed, but I did really appreciate the strawberry swirls. I finished the ice cream thinking that it was definitely a solid strawberry flavor! I then tried another ice cream vendor at the festival who was also selling strawberry, and that's when I could really taste the difference. Juke N Jive's strawberry was far better, as it carried a strawberry flavor through and through, while the other vendor's flavor was lacking. Will have to stop by their shop sometime!

I had the opportunity to pop in here over the weekend and I almost turned around at the sight of the very long line that was almost out the door, but I am so glad I stayed and waited because it was well worth it! Their ice cream is made with all-natural flavors and colors, and they offer a large array of sweet selections including more than 30 ice cream flavors to indulge in. I also love the fact that they offer homemade flavored waffle cones like their espresso, matcha, and taro waffle cones. My husband went with the Cookie Monster ice cream with an espresso cone and I went with the Lavender Honey ice cream with a matcha waffle cone. Delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!
