Kade was our server this visit and he didn't disappoint. I love the wait staff here. I enjoyed the blackened salmon with the herb butter and those mashed sweet potatoes are always worthy of take the extras home to enjoy for dessert later. This place is always clean, inviting and draws a nice crowd for lunch and dinner. It's so pretty to sit out on their patio and enjoy their Blackberry mule. I recommend this place to get food, drinks, and good service.

Fully enjoyed the hospitality, amazing food, and tasty brilliance. Drank and to go, while observing a social venue for dating, groups, and families how you like it. Very impressed and worth bringing your friends and family.

Food was great - high quality ingredients, excellent flavor & seasoning, and prepared perfectly. Decent prices. Server was enthusiastic, but needs to learn the menu and what can & can't be subbed. I had the bacon wrapped barbecue shrimp over jambalaya, and aside of red beans and rice with sausage. The red beans and rice with sausage was fantastic, the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimps were delicious and the jambalaya had a little bit of spice to it. All the entrées came with a side salad. Would definitely eat there again.

When you go make sure you ask for Landon! He was super sweet, attentive and accommodating. He was the best possible choice for our Mother's Day group and definitely was a great addition to our experience! Being it was a Sunday and Mother's Day it was a bit of a wait but that's to be expected. The interior was super spacious and had an outdoor patio for dining as well. The bar was fully stocked and it was hard to find any working who didnt have a smile. The menu was a trifold with a lot of different options to go with whatever taste you had so naturally my table ordered some of everything. Our appetizers consisted of crab claws buffalo wings and bacon cheese fries with jalepenos every app came out hot flavorful and enough to share the only suggestion i had was that the crab claws should come with bread but we did buy a side order of bread for a dollar. For entrees we ordered seafood lasagna, ribeye, fried seafood plate catfish with etoufee and a poboy. EVEYTHING was perfectly seasoned and cooked fresh it may have been the quietest we've been since sitting down while stuffing our faces. I definitely recommend stopping here to try it out. Don't forget to make a reservation on toast!

We decided to try out The Chimes for Father's Day this year, and I'm glad we did. Doors opened at 11am and the place was immediately packed--which tells you a lot right off the bat. Luckily, we were seated without too long a wait. The atmosphere is top-notch. The interior has that perfect blend of Southern charm and modern pub-style--clean, comfortable, and full of character. It's the kind of place where you don't mind hanging out for a while. Drinks: Their alcohol selection is no joke. Over 60 craft beers on tap and a well-rounded drink list. If you're into craft brews or want to try something new, this place has you covered. Service: Our waiter was excellent--genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. He brought us samples of a few things just so we could try before we committed. That kind of service isn't common anymore, and it made a big impression. Appetizer: We started with the spinach and artichoke dip with fried bowtie pasta--never had it like that before, and it was damn good. Crunchy, creamy, flavorful. A solid start. Entrees: * My wife had the chargrilled catfish--perfectly cooked and seasoned. * My daughter got the crawfish étouffée with fried catfish--a rich, classic Louisiana combo done right. * I went with the fried shrimp and fried catfish--crispy outside, juicy inside, just how it should be. Portions were generous; we all left full and still had enough to take home. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Bottom line: The Chimes delivers. Whether you're going for the food, drinks, atmosphere, or service, they check all the boxes. We'll definitely be back. Great for family meals, casual dates, or just grabbing a drink with good food.

Big cavernous place with a crowded bar and dining area. Ended up outside. This would have been a five star experience if our wait staff had acted a bit more interested in her job. Perhaps the cold didn't suit her. Local Louisiana faves. Great atmosphere.

This place was fantastic! I couldn't find the option for reservations, but that didn't seem to be an issue. It was packed, but a very large space and great service. We waited about 19 minutes and were seated on the patio. Weather was perfect. The garage doors were open. We got the sautéed crab fingers. I highly recommend these! They come in a delicious garlic butter. We also got 1/2 dozen oysters. I got the seafood pasta for my entree. It was great. I do think it had too much sauce for the amount of noodles. There was a good amount of shrimp and crawfish though so that made up for it. Everything was great and I would definitely go back.

Anbiance is great. Has areas for all preferences: outside/inside, large bar with televisions, party size tables, etc. High quality food paired with great service. Lance works the bar and is welcoming and just tops off the experience Great place to watch sports without worries about food, service, atmosphere.

Okay but the chargrilled oysters at The Chimes?? Yeah... they ate DOWN ‍ They came out hot, buttery, and loaded with that garlicky goodness. The cheese was melted perfectly on top and the oysters themselves were super fresh -- not fishy at all. I was literally scraping the plate for the extra sauce because it was THAT good. Service was quick and the vibe was chill, which made the whole experience even better. If you go to The Chimes and don't order the chargrilled oysters... what are you even doing?? Definitely coming back for another round.

My friend and I decided to go shopping in Lafayette from Alexandria. After shopping she suggested we go to the chimes. Let's just say she was right on the money for picking this restaurant. This is by far one of the best restaurants that I've eaten at in 10 years. Its on my favorite list now and I will definitely come back to eat. The food was amazing. I had our server to pick his favorite and I decided to go with that. I end up eating the fried chicken and linguine and my friend ordered the same. Our entrees came with salads which were good also. We did start off with crawfish cheese fries and they were delicious. I ordered a drink from the bar, my signature drink the espresso martini. The ambiance was elegant in my opinion but very relaxed and chilled. I would definitely recommend everyone to stop by here. The menu has something to offer everyone.

Great ambiance outside with huge fire place sn, good service , drink was good and the oysters but the fish could've been fried harder and the flavor wasn't flavoring , red beans and rice need to be perfected as the sausage wasn't good nor the overall taste, the hushpuppies were really light , tasty and good. Salad underwhelming.

We also ordered the BRISKET FRIES. Smoked brisket, pepperjack, cheddar, Cajun BBQ, chipotle aioli, and green onion. I swear those cheese fries were the best cheese fries I've ever eaten in my entire natural born life. Wow wow wow. I sat in shock about how good they were. We ordered our entrees I ordered the GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST...... Chargrilled chicken breast,', with grilled veggie medley and roasted fingerling potatoes. It was so delicious. My friend ordered the REDFISH VERMILION. Grilled redfish topped with crawfish etoufee, served with chargrilled asparagus. I tasted some of her dish. It was yummy as well. The pork chop was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, incredibly tender, and honestly tender enough to cut with a fork. It had a great char from the grill that added so much flavor, and the pickled peppers on top cut through the richness of the pork perfectly. The dirty rice underneath reminded me of my mom's rice dressing and soaked up all the juices from the chop. It was one of the best pork chop dishes I've had. My wife ordered the smoke fried chicken, and it was also excellent. The crust was crispy while the chicken stayed juicy and flavorful. The sweet potato biscuits were light and delicious, and the pepper honey tied everything together nicely. For my taste, it leaned just a little on the sweet side, but it was still a very enjoyable dish. My daughter ordered the Social Cheeseburger with just meat and cheese. She loved it, and I was impressed too. Even with such a simple order, the burger was juicy, well seasoned, and served on a fantastic bun. She and my wife both could not stop talking about the hand cut fries. They were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and some of the best fries we've had in a while. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. We left very impressed and will definitely make a point to stop here whenever we are in the Lafayette area.
