We were there and had lunch yesterday. We ordered salads before our meal, she brought our salads and then less than two minutes later our meals arrived. And of course, my meal did not come through a minutes later because I ordered a pizza they need to make sure that all the food comes out at the same time for the table. The food is great, but the service is not so great. They need to learn how to if somebody orders an appetizer it's an appetizer. It's a salad. It comes before the meal not two minutes before the meal are yeah bring the salad out. Give us time to eat it and then bring out the entrées. Service was not so great. And a drizzle of stuff on the bread pudding and on the salmon means a drizzle not that you drowned in the stuff. If you need some help, I can help you. Please change your staff. read more

Food was delicious. The inside decor and feel is very nice. The menu is huge. The service was extremely slow and it wasn't busy, and there was a group of 8-9 workers just cutting up in the front. The husband and I stopped in for dinner. We ordered the boudin egg rolls, muffuletta egg rolls, and eggplant frittes. We agreed the boudin egg rolls were the fav but the other two apps were very tasty as well. We ordered small Amanti (all meat) pizza. And for dessert we tried all 3 versions of the bread pudding - white chocolate, red velvet and the seasonal praline pecan. While all three were tasty the praline pecan was our fav. Our sever was very attentive and kind. The food came out fairly quickly. Since we came fairly early in the evening it wasn't very busy. But there were a handful of locals at the bar who were having friendly chatter with the bar tender. Several people came in as we ate. The decor was nice without being overly fancy or kitschy. It was perfect for a nice pizza place - like a grown up pizza joint! We saved the bread pudding leftovers and ate them for breakfast. They were still just as yummy! read more

Location was great for us, ambiance was very welcoming and great. Service was excellent. The food was disappointing! Eggplant appetizer was GREAT! Husband's pizza was good, small size was perfect for 1 person. He was full. Here's the fail...I had the Crawfish Pepper-Jack Redfish. It had the makings to be excellent, spicy, flavorful sauce, excellent grilled veggies but fell short with the Redfish fillet it was thin and overcooked. My question is, WHEN was it cooked! ....the day before, that morning? Not impressed AT ALL, especially since it was an expensive dish and served on a smallish size plate. read more

My wife and I went after touring the Tabasco plant. We had Amanti pizza, boudin egg rolls, muffuletta egg rolls, and for dessert we had 3 kinds of bread pudding. I had 2 glasses of wine. Pepper jack redfish is fantastic and spicy. Sauce goes with anything. The shrimp Portebello was so good don't miss that either. Good portion too. Pizza was decent. The tuna salad was excellent. Really well done with flavor of the seasoning for tuna and cooked right. Really enjoyed the entire meal except the peach bread pudding. I wanted roasted peaches on top but got nuts and didn't taste the peach inside. No good for me. The sweet potato andouille soup was very tasty it it was more like a mashed potato than a soup it didn't contain much broth. The blackberry flatbread was great italian sausage, blackberry jam, balsamic glaze a match that tantalized the taste buds. My wife and I have been to Misfits twice now and it has quickly become one of our favorite places. The drinks are great, I wish I had taken a picture of their old fashioned because it's really good. This time when we went my wife got the chicken parm and loved it. I got the fried chicken sandwich (spicy) which is just the regular sandwich with a spicy mayo. It was good but the time before I got the redfish with the crawfish cream sauce and grilled vegetables and that dish was to die for. Had the GODFADDAH fried chicken sandwich dressed with bacon, fresh mozzarella, and misfit sauce sided with homemade house chips. And the blackberry flat bread: ricotta, cajun power blackberry fruit tart, Italian sausage, red bell pepper, white onion, parmesan cheese, and balsamic glaze. Slooooow service to inattentive service to overpriced small portions......a thin small piece of overcooked chicken and salad with three half's of over ripped cherry tomatoes is over $12.......and sandwich and same salad was also over $12.......small portions for sure.....had to get up to go find waitress to get check.....not sure who trains waitresses anymore but when you walk into your section, logic would dictate you look around at ALL your tables to see if anyone needs WAITING on......what a concept.....it's scratched off our list......here's a pic. read more

My family lives nearby and this has been their go to spot since opening. We went last night and i thought it was great! Which is nice because there aren't a lot of good restaurants in the area. I got the misfits pasta and it was delicious - probably will be my go to! The sauce was so flavorful and the seafood was cooked very well. For an appetizer we got spinach and artichoke dip and hummus. The spinach dip is delicious. Honestly the hummus isn't my cup of tea as I prefer more traditional recipes - I don't like toppings, it's chunkier and didn't taste like their was an tahini in it. However, my parents loveeeee the hummus so it works for some. We also got the meatballs the other day and they were solid. My parents got the Cajun pescatore pizza which was also great (though I preferred the pasta). Talking to the owner after, it was great to hear all their pizzas can be modified to taste which is awesome for me since I don't like red sauce. For dessert we also got an order of the bread pudding and my god it was amazing! Perfectly sweet and flavorful on its own. It had the consistency of more of a pain perdue but I wouldn't change it at all. They cut it up into bit sized chunks which was great to share. They served it with a white chocolate sauce which was loved and wasn't overly sweet. Drinks are also incredibly reasonably priced and a good pour as they should be for the area. For the longest time you had to pay a good bit of money for a mixed drink in this area which was absurd given that this is a more rural area. Best part is with my few conversations with the owner she seems incredibly sweet and dedicated to her customer enjoying their experience and food. She was excited for feedback and eager to pivot based on customers feedback/needs. Really excited to see what new things they add and how they grow. Happy to have them in the area. All the wait staff is very nice. The decor is also very nice, new and classy - still retaining a lot of charm from when it was antlers. Also the back patio is so nice. Only big complaint is I wish they would enforce social distancing at the bar better.
