Pretty decent little spot. Was in town on business and a local recommended this spot for some good…read moreavocado toast, so I figured I'd check it out. Ambiance was nice, including an outdoor seating area where I enjoyed my coffee and avocado toast. Service was good as well; friendly staff, prompt service. The coffee, delicious. Good roast, good price, what more do you need. The avocado toast, probably why you are seeing 4 stars instead of 5. I have had avocado toast all of this country - sort of a go to for a light breakfast before one of my trainings. And, as far as avocado toast goes, this one was just okay. Fairly bland, despite there being an herb pesto-type sauce on it and some "half-dried" tomatoes. And when it comes to avocado toast, there is so much opportunity for good citrus flavor, salt, herbs, etc.. So, good cup of coffee, and hopefully some other good things on the menu - I only tried the avocado toast. Good folks, worth another try if I'm in town again.

Cute place that gives off cozy vibes. The kettle hips are so yummy. Perfect crunch and saltiness to…read morethem. I went with a friend and her daughter. They got the sandwiches which they enjoyed. I ordered their mac n cheese with the buffalo chicken. Which I thought their mac n cheese was super creamy so that was a plus. The chicken and buffalo were on top of the mac n cheese and that was okay. I guess I thought it might have already been mixed it but it was just sitting there so it didn't quite meet my expectations. But overall I would go back.

The food was incredible! I tried every single item on the buffet and loved all of it. And the staff... just wonderful. The ladies were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made us and our guests feel so comfortable and cared for the entire time. We are so grateful for such a lovely experience and will absolutely be back. But next time we'll be back to enjoy a peaceful brunch without also hosting 25 people Highly, highly recommend!

I was back in town visiting for a wedding and my host recommended G&S for brunch. They are only open eight hours a week and the only time we could get one of their few tables was 9 am sharp. We arrived on time and were the second table seated in a dining room that only contained eight tables. Great music, with classic rock and country played at a moderate level. Servers were all super nice and engaging. I could tell this was a place where the regulars come often and the staff knows them well. I got my OJ and my friend got her coffee. Juice tasted pretty fresh, but I admit I wish it had a little pulp. Right away we headed up to the buffet line and it was so amazing. Herb and cheese frittata, thick cut bacon, thick sausage patties, cheesy hash browns, banana bread French toast, biscuits, sausage gravy, Caprese salad, cinnamon rolls, raspberry brownies, fruit salad, almond poppyseed scones, chocolate chip cookies... Everything I tried was excellent. The bacon and sausage were so full of flavor and as I mentioned they were thick, nothing wimpy about this breakfast meat. The French toast really had that nice banana and cinnamon flavor going. Cheeses added richness to the shredded hash brown potatoes. That cinnamon roll was so flaky. I even took some the buttercream frosting on top and spooned it on the French toast bake and that only made it even more amazing. I almost felt sorry for the fruit salad of blueberries, red grapes, and honeydew! 23 dollars was a pretty solid deal, especially since it was unlimited portions. I've had a few brunch buffets, but this absolutely ranks in the top 2 or 3 I have ever had.
