What a gem! I stopped at this doughnut shop to bring some doughnuts to a friend I was visiting. It was right near my Airbnb, so I had no excuse. Stopped in a Saturday morning for donuts. There were a few groups in front of us but the line moved quickly. It is a small shop inside so don't be alarmed if the line is out the door. An employee was talking to people in the line and had a roll of donut stickers for the kids which my kids were all about. We got yeast and cake donuts and the sour cream donut. This was my 1st time stopping by. The owners were very personable, professional, and kind. I decided I would order a dozen. And let me just say they did not disappoint. In a world full of coffee shops with dry and stale pastries or dry donuts, this donut shop stood out miles ahead of the competition, whether it is commercial companies or local home based shops. Their donuts are far from dry, and the right amount of sweet, fluffy, and the cake like donuts are amazing. My favorite is their coconut, but their double chocolate, sourcream, and long John's are all excellent options. I went around 11 am, and a lot of their stuff was sold out. I still want to try their Homer Simpson, crullers and fritters, as well as their pastries. 10 out of 10 for sure. Forget the overpriced Stan's, Starbucks, and Dunkin. Just moved to the area and was looking for some fresh bakery donuts for my wife. Found this place after doing a quick Yelp search. The pictures looked great so decided to try them out. I called the day before because I wanted to pick them up on Mother's Day and they offered the option to place a pickup order so they wouldn't run out of what I wanted thank god I did before I got there at 10am and they told me they had sold out the regular glazed donuts at 7:30. So really appreciate them letting me know to do that. As far as the donuts goes, they were pretty good. Fresh and fluffy. Definitely better than the Stans donuts you see everyone saying to get. We tried these raised donuts: Bismarcks in raspberry and apple; creme-filled long johns in chocolate and vanilla; chocolate raised pull-apart with sprinkles; and a vanilla frosted toasted coconut. We tried these cake donuts: glazed blueberry and glazed sour cream. We also had an apple fritter. They were all extremely fresh, sweet, and delicious. The chocolate frosting was exceptionally good. The pull-apart is fun to eat. It's a clever cluster of joined donut holes, frosted and sprinkled. You eat it by tearing off one little ball at a time. Service was fast and friendly. Parking is available in the tiny lot or along the street. Go early, because they close at noon. We drove an hour round-trip to try this shop. It's our new "donut boondoggle." read more

I rarely write 1 or 2 star reviews but here it goes. I was in on Saturday 10/5/19 at 7:30 am and it took me a bit to decide- they offer a nice selection and it was my 1st time. I let people go in front of me as to not hold up the line. One of the employees asked if I was ready and I said I was still deciding. The oldest of the employees, a woman, who was in the back, came out and said "still!" I found that to be incredibly rude. I should have left. I was shocked but still purchased a dozen for $13.00. I had promised donuts for a birthday party, was excited to try theirs, and had no back up plan. They were a hit but due to the rude/snarky customer service, I won't return. I sent a message to whomever responds to their social media and received the following response- "I sincerely apologize about that. I really do I appreciate you reaching out and telling us about this. I am so thankful you enjoyed our donuts. But I understand. Thank you again for letting me know". After a long day at work overnight, I decided that I deserve to eat some delicious donuts. Luckily, this location was near me The shop was fairly easy to find. Parking is nonexistent but there is a little area in front that people made their own parking spot plus there is plenty of street parking (at 8am) The inside of the shop is very small, only room for maybe 5 people before it starts to feel a little cramp. The selection of donuts had a good variety. For a dozen donuts, I paid a little over 13 dollars The donuts themselves were delicious and soft. Reminded me how that chain starts with D used to be before they decided to freeze all their product. Overall, I am sure to be back soon read more

My 4 year old son and I stopped here this week in the mid morning. Having grown up in Oswego, it's refreshing to see a solid business here, as it rotated often in the past. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a very friendly girl behind the counter. My son was wearing a Sonic the Hedgehog hoodie and she started talking with him about Sonic. He asked if they had Sonic donuts and she said "next time call us the day before and we can make one for you!" I loved the potential customization option. We picked 6 donuts; fairly standard chocolate, glazed, etc and then a red velvet. They were all very tasty and glad we splurged on more. The bigger pastries looked sinful! I was surprised at the prices, they were very competitive and while I love Dunkin coffee, I'd certainly choose a donut here first. There are several donut shops near Plainfield but they're quite a drive from me. I'm so glad we found a closer, local spot to support! I have been to a numerous amount of local homemade donut shops all around different states and this by far was the most average Dunkin' Donuts tasting donuts I have ever had. The red velvet tasted like burnt hamburger grease. The cake donuts were average. Apple fritter was the only good one I tried that would be worth going back for. Place is super cool and tiny.
