Roughly an hour after picking up a sack from them, we started cleaning and picking out the dead ones... And kept picking out more dead ones. Almost half of the sack was dead. The only thing worse than paying for dead crawfish is HORRIBLE customer service when notifying the seller of the situation. Lexi called Courville's since this is very unlike what we are used to receiving from them. She was told that since it's been over 30 minutes, it's our fault that half of the sack is dead. Lexi explained that the crawfish were kept correctly, asked if she could bring the crawfish back for replacement or refund, and was told no. She let Courville's know we will no longer purchase any crawfish from them and ended the call. After about 10 minutes, Courville's called back because they "didn't want to leave the situation as they did" and offered to give her an extra 10-15 pounds the next time she buys a sack, as a replacement for the dead ones today. Had the conversation of the second call happened during the first call, I probably wouldn't be writing this. I can get over being sold bad product, but I can't get over the horrible customer service Lexi was given.

I always order oxtails plate. I gotta plate with two oxtails this last time which gives me mixed feelings when I opened the plate but the owner/cashier ensured me they were meaty. Whenever I sat down to eat it... it wasn't it was a thick bone. The plate is close to $30 I was expecting more. The beef patties are probably my favorite part of this dining experience.

This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.

The reason for 4 stars is because it can get a little noisy. It's an old building and if there's an event happening upstairs, you will hear all the foot steps. The bathroom wasn't exactly the cleanest either. No complaints on service.
