Walk in and…read morethere's many coolers full of plenty different things (didn't look around much as I'm far from home and just wanted hot food). There wasn't too much in the little hot box but I went ahead and got 2 pepper Jack boudin balls and 1/4 lb of pork cracklins, and was not disappointed at all. The cheese in the boudin ball is all mixed up in the boudin instead of one big clump of cheese (not knocking it) like some boudin balls have. The cracklins also were pretty darn tootin good, both the balls and cracklins were cooled off a bit so must've been sitting for a while and still good! I paid $14 for all of that so can't complain...and the boudin balls are bigger than a baseball so. Really cool guy behind the register..said he has been open for over 30 years so he's definitely got this figured out. Highly recommend

The other dark meat was so tough it just got bigger the more you chewed it. The white meat wasn't tough, but very dry. I am going to try and make a casserole out of what is left but I am skeptical as to whether or not it can me saved. warming instructions, verbal and written, were very specific. 250 for 45 mins. set and timed. Overall, very disappointed in the Thanksgiving centerpiece, Tom the Turkey.

The Fresh Market is what Whole Foods SHOULD be!…read more I did a stop here back in early October. I'm glad I did as this place brought back some nostalgia to me as there used to be a Fresh Market in Loudoun County, VA where I used to live before closing to make way for a Trader Joe's. Walking around, I was pleased to see the ready-to-make gourmet meals that included delicious goods such as a bourbon peppercorn steak, peruvian inspired shrimp chaufa, and korean beef stir-fry. Lovely seeing different meals from different cuisines. And of course the deli area where you can get sandwiches, ready-made sides, and pizza. And the ready-made salads and wraps as well. And then there's a candy section and coffee area with fresh coffee beans; oh I should've grabbed something from there! I left with several items that included a 6 piece order of wings, side of dirty rice, veggie gyoza dumplings, and a curry chicken salad. All of which made for a great meal since I could pick numerous items that wouldn't break the bank. I wanted to try the calzones but I knew it would be too heavy for me. Definitely next time! Very glad The Fresh Market is still around and looks like it's thriving at this location. I hope maybe they'll expand to Houston sometime!

I have mixed feelings about The Fresh Market. I think that the products are excellent (and part of…read morewhy I come) as is the atmosphere and I think the service at the Butcher counter as well as the checkouts is top-notch. However, it is with great reservation that I would recommend the Deli! I love the food available but the workers are very unprofessional. They don't know how to practice good hygiene. (Often not wearing gloves while scooping food into containers) They do not consistently greet the customers or acknowledge their presence even after several minutes of waiting and don't communicate well with customer and are inattentive during service. While helping the customer they goof around and focus most of their attention on talking to a fellow employee to the point of distraction from the task at hand and taking twice as long to perform a task as they should secondary to the distraction of carrying on a conversation with their fellow employee This also can result in inputing the wrong prices while weighing out food. I would highly recommend there be a more mature individual with good professionalism supervising/working at that particular counter because that alone can make me hesitant to return to TFM which other than the above complaints is one of my fav BR stores. I hesitated to write this review until I consistently observed this behavior over the past six months with a high turnover of employees in that particular area of the store so I imagine it must be a struggle to get well trained individuals to work behind the deli counter.

Maxwell's Market - Chicken Caesar wrap and sweet potato fries (sadly NOT good from this location, will only order from Perkins location from now on)

girls, if you're getting a chicken Caesar wrap, go to the Perkins location. Please. I've had a…read moresuper good one from the one on Perkins, and I thought this would be the same. Instead, the lettuce was literally COOKED like steaming hot and there was melty mozzarella cheese inside, which is odd because Caesar salads don't typically include mozzarella - just Parmesan. The tortilla didn't taste fresh, and i think they just took the whole wrap and pressed it flat in a panini press. The heat made the lettuce completely wilted, and this was the most disappointing chicken Caesar wrap I've ever experienced. There was also not enough chicken or fillings inside like overall it was a very small wrap for the price. The quality of their shredded chicken is great, but everything else was extremely subpar. After receiving mine with the mozzarella (lactose intolerant), I even decided to bite the bullet and order a second one (so I paid for two) and this time specified no cheese at all, and extra chicken. The second one STILL had cheese, and the same amount of chicken. The sweet potato fries were fine, and the build your own sandwich my boyfriend got was good. just don't do the wrap from here yall. Go to the Perkins location.
