This is a hidden gem. It's a little off the beaten path, adjoining with the Brennans market, not off a major road. Almost regret reviewing it and risking it getting too crowded for me to enjoy. Great place to enjoy indoor/outdoor dining and farm fresh cider. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is never fussy. The ciders are crisp and cool, with the Equinox being my fave. Great snacks like cheese plates and lighter fare. They have mixed drinks as well with Apple Brandy. This is the kind of place to make you smile on a beautiful day.

Located adjacent to Brennan's market, this is a nice place with indoor/outdoor space. They grow the apples just for use in their ciders, and the farm is entirely organic. The staff were very nice and friendly and we enjoyed conversing with them. They also offer food, basically appetizers and desserts. Their ciders were good, some were dry , some sweet and crisp. They had a variety of flavors! Of the fur varieties we sampled the Rose is made annually. It was a bit tart!. The Tremlett was possibly our favorite. It had hints of lemon. A very relaxing environment and worth stopping in and also shop at Brennan's.

Delicious cider, great service! I stopped in around lunch time when I was in town visiting a friend. This was a spot I had bookmarked that was closest to her home, so one day when she was working I took myself to this spot for a midday sip and sit. I arrived very shortly after they opened and I was the only one there for quite some time. That meant that I got to chat with the employees, learn about their offerings, and have the chillest of cool times all by myself. I opted to get a flight in order to try as many of their offerings as I could. In fact...I ended up indulging and having TWO flights because I liked their stuff so much I wanted to try everything! I got the rose cider with both of my flights, so I think it is safe to say that one was my favorite! I didn't get any food while I was there, but they do have food offerings and much of it sounded tasty! The staff were super friendly. The space was bright and open and inviting. The hard cider was DE. LIC. IOUS. Highly recommended.

Don't be fooled that this establishment is strapped to the side of a grocery store. This is a casual hang-out gem with a blend of indoor/outdoor seating and live jazz was a pleasing experience. There's an abundant choice of ciders from traditional to unique and an enjoyable cheese platter to accompany! Service was a touch slow but in speaking with the owner apparently it was an unexpected rush that hadn't staffed for. I look to assessing that in a future visit.

Well, it worked. I fell in love with Cider Farm! John and his wife, the owners, generously offered to host our latest Yelp Elite event. I always love the fun things we do at events, but I am very glad I didn't miss this one! I decided to try the Cyser, which I then had several more glasses of, and even bought a bottle to take home. Delicious! And the 9.2% ABV doesn't hurt. The food spread was a great accoutrement to the crisp and refreshing cider. It was really fun learning about how John and his wife started, and that they are a fully organic orchard in the beautiful Driftless region of Wisconsin. They also only use organic and locally produced ingredients for their grub as well! I will definitely be back to The Cider Farm.

A really homey space with kind employees and great drinks! I came here with friends and got the apple brandy old fashioned and some of the caramel truffles to take home. While everything tasted great, the hidden gem of this place is the owner's attitude and how he walks around and engaged you in conversations about apples, the process of making their ciders, anything you would want to ask about their offerings! Even their other staff are all nice and welcoming and offer to make accomodations for you right away even without asking. I'll definitely be coming back and recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a cozy night out for a few friends!

I learned about the Cider Farm through a pub pass I purchased. The location is on the far west side near Menards and Target. It's connected to Brennan's so you can do a little shopping for a charcuterie board after you've enjoyed some local cider. The cider was a little different than I expected. Not quite as sweet as others I've had. I started with a flight to check out different options and landed on a glass after. We had planned to order a cheese board; however, the service was quite slow and they didn't check back often even though it wasn't busy. The food options looked enticing though, so I'd recommend ordering right away if you'd like to also get food.

Enjoyed Cider Farm for a rainy Saturday afternoon drink and snack with friends. I got a Tremlett's cider and shared the duck nuggets with friends. The cider was tasty - a very dry cider with good flavor. The duck nuggets were very unique and not what we expected, but enjoyed! We all liked the cherry dipping "sauce" with them over the cream sauce. Decent service and a fun stop after shopping at fun Brennan's. Would recommend!

First tip, be sure to not be in a hurry if you go here! We went for brunch on a Sunday and made a reservation per their website's suggestion, and we ended up being there for an hour and 15 minutes. Definitely glad we made the reservation, since they did have to turn away some people because they were "full". I only put that in quotes because it did seem that there were empty tables, but maybe they were short-staffed and couldn't accommodate any more. The owner was super friendly as always, as was our waiter, but in all honesty, everything just seemed slow, other than us being seated. It took quite a while for our water to come and then it was another long wait period for the flight of ciders and calva coffee. There were at least five people working including the owner, but it only seemed as if the owner and one other gentlemen were waiting on tables. I'm not really sure what the girls were doing, as they rarely interacted with customers, and it felt like they would walk away if you would go near them wanting something, or that it was a burden for them to help you. I get that everyone has there off days, but it seemed like they maybe could have been a little more helpful for the two people who were covering the tables. One thing I will say is that the staff was very accommodating when we asked for some mustard and extra coffee and cream, but we did have to get up to ask for it, and we were never checked in on with our food. As for the food, we ordered the ham and mushroom crepe, the smoked chicken crepe, the breakfast sandwich, and the French toast. By far and beyond the best choice was the French toast! It was soft and custardy, just as described. Although, the upgrade to the brandy maple syrup did not have as much brandy flavor as expected. The breakfast sandwich was pressed too hard and kind of burnt, so there was no fluffiness to the croissant like you would want and parts could not be eaten. The crepes were both a little overly salty, and oddly crunchy. When we've had crepes at other restaurants they have always been very soft, so this texture change was kind of odd to us, it was almost more like a toasted burrito. The greens with the cider vinaigrette that came with the crepes were quite good and people also were fans of the side fingerling potatoes. They are even better with a horseradish dijon mustard. Overall, we were kind of disappointed with the brunch, as three out of the four orders were overdone. We've been here few times before for dinner and drinks and we loved the sandwiches, smoked trout dip, and cheese board, so we were expecting better for brunch. Maybe it was just an off day, or training new staff, but we don't really feel the need for brunch here again. Definitely go to try the ciders and talk to the owner though, because he is one of the nicest guys to chat with!

Cider Farm is a unique bar and resturant that offers local fare and delicious ciders. They are attached to Brennan's Grocery Store, which offers all local produce, pastries, and drinks. Cider Farm uses these same local ingredients from the grocery store in their food, like the charcuterie board. All of the food is local and delicious! The ciders are more on the dry side and there are several different flavors. I really enjoy the oak cider! When the weather is nice, the restaurant opens up all their garage doors to give an indoor/outdoor feel. They have a beautiful outdoor patio and a cider garden where they sometimes have musicians to play music while you enjoy your food and beverages. It's a very unique place and I'm so excited that I discovered it! I definitely recommend and will be going back!

I was very pleased. Brix has a very nice cider selection. I got the flight which comes with 4 ciders of your choice. I chose Troll Juice which is a honey wine that packs quite the punch for a cider. The Cosmic Queen was pretty light in taste but not overly sweet. The apple and raspberry was a great mix. My personal favorite was the Watermelon Mojito, it was so light, very refreshing and delicious. I love mint, so this was right up my alley. I could have had a handful of those! Lastly I had Jam Sesh which was a bit too sweet for me but it was still pretty tasty. The Honey and Strawberry taste was pretty prominent, but I did taste a bit of the apple. I liked how chill this place was even though they had a live band playing outside. I had a few bites of the Wagyu Burger that my fiancé had and it was sooo good! If you are into ciders or just trying something new and happen to be visiting Mt. Horeb; This place is a must try!
