Love this place for a handful of reasons! The owner is extremely kind and knowledgable about his stock. His son is often there tending to costumers as well. Both are availible to answer any questions, provide recommendations, are very friendly, etc. I never feel rushed or 'pushed' to get something. I have been to a few cigar lounges on Long Island. I find the Cigar hut to have the best overall selection in their cigar room. They have great selections of flavored cigars, all the way up to larger, more intense cigars. The room is always kept at the right temperature/properly humidified, which is why the cigars are always in the best condition. Even at the 'fanciest' of cigar shops, their cigar rooms pretty much are the size of a tight closet. They are usually stuffed with shelves and cigars, and you pretty much miss most of the stock. Or you end up rushing through the picking process just to get out of the tiny cigar room. But at Cigar Hut, their stock room is a big, wide open room. There is plenty of space for a whole group of people to check out the stock at the same time. Its a more enjoyable experience, and you can clearly see the whole inventory. After you pick your cigar you can take it to go OR go enjoy a smoke in their back room, completed with comfy leather chairs, standup ash trays, flat screen TVS, and a professional smoke diffuser systems which keeps the room from getting too smokey/filters the air. They even let you bring food/drinks back there so you can enjoy a meal while you smoke/watch TV. It is a really great spot to chill and smoke with friends, or even relax alone. There is really no other place like this within the immediate area. Love coming here! I hope to make it to one of their cigar events they have every so often! They are going to be providing cigars for my wedding as well! read more
