I found Doreen here on yelp and called to get a quote for my wedding dress. She was immediately responsive and let me know when she was available so I could come in. The quote was very reasonable for what I needed: sides of bodice taken in, shoulders taken up, bra cups sewn in and a bustle. I believe she got all of the alterations done in a matter of a few weeks (I gave her lots of time before my wedding, I imagine she could have done it quicker if I was in a pinch). I came in only once to try it on after the alterations and took it home, no further alterations. Everything turned out just as expected. She was very friendly and available. I wish I could give Cinderella Cellar more than 5 stars! I live out of state but knew I wanted to wedding dress shop with all the women in my family so we met up in my hometown (Fresno) to do it. Cinderella Cellar was the first (and only!) place we went and we had a wonderful experience! I had a few horrible dress shopping experiences and was about to give up, but Doreen worked her magic and I found my perfect dress at Cinderella Cellar. She was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on what size I should get (I'm kind of between sizes) and recommended the option that would work best for me - not just what would make her the most money. The prices were very reasonable, and you know what you're paying for up front aka no hidden fees. I have so much respect for Doreen and she runs a respectful, genuine business that I love. I loved it so much I'm doing my alterations there next time I fly home! Another huge bonus was that Doreen let me take the sample dress home to try on for my grandpa, who was unable to make it to the appointment. That meant SO much to me and my family, and he cried seeing me in my wedding dress (it was extra special because he won't be able to see me in it again since he can't attend my wedding in Colorado). My daughter went in shopping for her wedding gown. She had visited a couple of other shops prior and had in mind what she wanted or thought she wanted. Nothing knocked her socks off. She is tiny, size 0. She has no curves and so some dresses that look amazing in pictures just did nothing for her. Doreen was GREAT! It is her shop, her baby and she is proud of the service she gives her brides! My daughter found her dress! Doreen measured her and ordered the dress. It came in and fits PERFECT! She is doing a couple of small alterations (adding cups so no bra is needed and taking some length off since she will wear boots rather than heels). She had the best prices for cleaning and preserving that I could find. Her work was always done when she said it would be, or before. She explains everything and makes you feel comfortable. Wedding dress shopping and planning a wedding is stressful enough that going to The Cinderella Cellar for your bridal gown needs is like a breath of fresh air. I first went to try on some gowns just to see what styles I liked. I remember there was absolutely no pressure, I could play dress up with as many dresses as I wanted. Unfortunately after eyeing a particular gown online that I could not get my mind off of I ended up purchasing my dress elsewhere since it was not available in Fresno. When it came to alterations, I knew I had to find a local professional and Doreen absolutely fits the bill. Doreen was so incredibly accommodating with appointments that she had me come earlier before the shop opened or offered to stay late after closing hours to give me her undivided attention.
