Eco stepped in, got the project back on track, and communicated clearly with us every step of the way. We are absolutely delighted with the final result: a beautiful playroom that our daughter can enjoy for years to come. We would definitely recommend Eco Home Builders to anyone considering a home renovation. I'd like to also call out Eco team members Kayleen and Eyal who were amazing to work with!

He walked into the bathrooms I wanted renovated and asked at least 50 questions. We met again at the Kearny Mesa offices and again went over what I wanted and quality and types of fixtures and finishes I wanted. The next day I received a quotation, which included the total and payment schedule for the work I wanted. Eco was one of 4 total builders I had quote on the job. They sat exactly in the middle, but were the only ones to have a payment schedule after certain work was completed. The others wanted 1/2 up from and then the balance on the close. I felt like if at any point that work that was completed was incomplete, I would have some way of working with them to get it done completely and correctly. Besides Ben that were 3 other team members that coordinated my job. The first was Izabella, the designer and sourcer. Again after a few visits and email exchanges we settled on a design and began the purchase process. After all the materials were acquired, I met with Enrique the daily foreman and Derrick the project manager. The work is now complete and I am very happy. I don't have any real caveats, however, my home was build in 1968 and nothing was standard and a few surprises. Enrique and Izabella just looked for ways to solve issues as they popped up. I have two more possible renovations in the future and will call Eco Home Builders first.

Awesome is the only word to describe this company…read more Initially they came in when I bought my home and helped me with colors and design and furniture layout. Recently, I decided to do a kitchen remodel to a tropical feel. Jessica and Amy came out and discussed some ideas. I was very comfortable as they figured out exactly what would work best. They came back with a design and off we went. Amy was in charge and setup meetings with my contractor, cabinet makers, etc. Amy actually was more like the project manager than designer. She kept everyone on schedule and let everyone know that she has very high expectations and there is no compromising. I stay busy and as much as I like to stay on top of details, I couldn't. Amy, made it all very easy. She would supply a couple of options to each aspect of the kitchen remodel. She gave me a selection of paint colors, cabinet style and stain, sink style, counter top edging and more. I was shown how all of this would go together and complement each other. I never would have figured this out myself. Amy met me at 3 different stone slab yards to help me pick out the right slabs for my counters. The Sea Pearl Quartzite was amazing. I even learned how important the little details like cabinet pulls are and proper placement. They even had this idea to do a basket weave leather insert into some of my cabinet doors...so cool. Amy and Jessica were on top of my project from start to finish. I had the pleasure of meeting many of their team members along the way and all were exceptional and focused. I would make the highest recommendation for J. Hill Interiors. Don't waste your time....just call them! You will be happy you did!

I most certainly would recommend the team to anyone embarking on a design project of their own. This was our second design project with Jessica. It came about as a result of our recent relocation to Columbus, Ohio. As it turned out the buyer of our condominium in San Diego purchased our unit 'as is' complete with all furniture and decorating items. That fact alone speaks volumes regarding the quality of our first project with Jessica. With this move, we were transitioning to a 5100 square foot home and were starting from scratch. To complicate the matter, our new home was in Columbus and the project was going to have to rely on some serious communication skills, strong remote coordination and commitment to the decorating plan, timing expectations and budget envelope. Jessica & her team knocked the ball out of the park. We couldn't be happier with the end result. Jessica has the ability to take a blank sheet of paper, pepper in client preferences, and then deliver an award winning design on-time and on budget. If I were to describe her attributes they might include: Creativity & innovation - She has the uncanny ability to walk into a space and immediately see the possibilities. It is as if she was simply born with the design gene. Balances cost/value - The one thing I like most about J Hill is that there is not a cookie-cutter approach. Based on a solid understanding of customer preferences and budget constraints, she delivers solutions. And, importantly her solutions are turnkey. We went from an empty house to a beautiful showcase home in just 8-10 weeks. On budget and on time. Always available / technologically advanced- Even being over 2000 miles apart presented no challenge. Through routine conference calls, videoconferences, email and site visits, it felt as though our designer was located right here in Columbus. Put simply, Jessica collaboratively assembles the plan and then executes it flawlessly. We have used a lot of designers in the past, but none that I would recommend over J Hill Interiors. If you are in the market for affordable design services that deliver tremendous value, you wont go wrong with Jessica Tompane and the entire J Hill Interior Design group.

I was both impressed with her sense of style and her professionalism. The process started with her visiting our home to get a general sense of our style and to interview us about the project. She asked thoughtful questions and took detailed measurements of our current space. With a short time we had the initial designs and was surprised how close to the mark they were. I was expecting a number of rounds of back and forth before we got to that point so it showed she really had an understanding of our priorities and style. Since this was our first project, and I'm a very detail oriented person, I had a lot of questions and really wanted to understand everything about the process. She was patient and prompt when answering my questions and going over the details, sometimes repeatedly. I really appreciated that because I know we weren't her biggest client. I was also impressed with her taking the initiative and working with our general contractor to make sure we where all on the same page. This lessened my stress level knowing that things were going to plan. I couldn't recommend Maegan and team enough and am excited to start working with them on our new kitchen!

The designer's ability to accommodate all her clients tastes rather than many designers who limits to one design style is awesome. After seeing the before and after I was so impressed it inspired me to get the ball rolling on our projects at home. -Adding a floating vanity in our powder room to replace a pedestal sink. -Replacing carpet with wood in the family room. -Making our master retreat cozy retreat. I found out they have Design Sessions. The best thing is that the sessions are a la carte. This way I can pick and choose what I want to watch what I am interested in that will benefit our design goals. She also included business resources for furniture, materials etc. To make it happen. You have no idea how hard it has been for me to find installers and appropriate material for faux wood beams in the house. I have watched 8 sessions now and found they even had some vieos online which has helped us significantly. My husband is familiar running commercial, but didn't have the resources for housing. I have learned so much and I think a couple of their gift beside style and having a natural eye in design is creative storage, mix matching materials and finishes and making it work, and super creative lighting that is jaw dropping, functional and adds amazing ambiounce. At our ages we are looking to eliminate our mortgage and not gain more debt. Robeson caters to all budgets. If you want high end you they can redesign and decorate for you. I then met with a few designers at Arizona Tile and everyone kept showing me stone backsplash or a white ceramic tile backsplash. I knew that wasn't the look I wanted for my kitchen but I had no idea what it was I was looking for. I wanted something light, bright, classic but with a sandy look as we live near the beach. I contacted Carole and she immediately had a suggestion to look at large glass tiles. She had a few at home for me to look at and then met me at Arizona Tile to pick the perfect color. She suggested I go with the 4x12 Matte Islandia Lanai tile and it was exactly what I was wanting. She then helped me find the perfect grout and suggested I do the traditional subway style to give me a more classic look. After weeks of debating, Carole helped me pick out and design my backsplash in under an hour. Two weeks later our fabricator went to pick up our two slabs and found out that our perfect countertop had been double sold and was on its way to Las Vegas. We were in a panic. This was going to delay our kitchen project weeks. I called Carole and she dropped everything and met me at Arizona Tile to go through numerous lots of similar slabs. Nothing was right. Some were too brown, others too green. Carole insisted that they bring out more slabs for us and we managed to find two slabs that were possibly even prettier than my original ones. Project was back underway and only delayed by one day. I can't thank Carole enough for helping me with the design of my kitchen remodel. She made what was stressful into a fun, easy project. We are getting ready to remodel our master bathroom and I'm definitely having Carole help me with the tile and backsplash design.
