Our first time here and we were here for a few days. It's clean, drink and food options. Very cool inside besides the hallways. Everyone is really kind. It's great location for so many events in the heart of Phoenix. We love valet parking with Steven, thank you Steven for always remembering us and always so kind and easy to talk too, it was not only his job to get our cars but he really enjoyed his night shift. We can't wait to come back.

The Moxy brand's signature aesthetic shines at this location. Rooms are well-maintained and compact, yet perfectly suited for two guests. The property sits in a prime spot, with easy access to everything from local coffee shops to the nearby arena.

this was the crappy thin towels

Hotel is O.K. not worth the price! When we checked in, there was a minimal line, guy was being trained, we were suppose to be "EDIT MEMBERS" they didn't offer any of our perks. $100 credit, breakfast etc. this hotel was NOT an upscale hotel. it was dark and "low budget." your better off going to other marriott properties next door. Towels were trash and thin, outlets didn't work in rooms, and for an "elite status" we got a view of the roof of the train area' we asked about the "upgrade" due to status and was told our room was automatically assigned. we all know could be changed. not worth the price, service or valet person waiting around for tip when car was left out at curb line.....horrible experience

This hotel is so darling! I love the decor and it happened to be Halloween season so they incorporated some fun Halloween themed decor. The tokens you get for the bar are an added plus. The staff were very accommodating and really nice. It was nice to be greeted by them every day. I strongly look forward to going back. Some things is worth noting is that the rooms don't have a fridge, at least the ones that we stayed in. Parking is also not included so you will need to either park their valet at a fee or in a paid lot. I will save this place as close to a lot of restaurants and other things to do so that is nice and outweigh the cost of parking if you are ok walking and or taking rideshare places.

Heritage Square is home to some preserved 19th and 20th century homes, museums and restaurants. The Rosson House is a beautiful restored 1895 Queen Anne Victorian house that was once home to early settlers in Phoenix. Heritage Square also hosts many food and cultural festivals. There is a large garage nearby for parking and ASU has a small campus next door. The Arizona Science Center is the building that stands out the most here at Historic Heritage Square. I have gone to it a couple of times and have enjoyed my time there. Arizona's most iconic restaurant Pizzeria Bianco by James Beard Award-winner Chris Bianco is also here. It can be a very long wait to get a table and has been visited by many celebrates like Jerry Seinfeld and Jimmy Fallon over the years. Sometimes I will park near Heritage Square while going to a baseball game and like to enjoy its relaxing peaceful atmosphere before the game. Every other experience here has been great no complaints, however this last visit was odd. We had an odd interaction with the valet attendant so I wanted to provide feedback to management and I approached a woman and she identified herself as a manager, later to find out her name was Phoebe, while I was speaking Phoebe was holding laughter back. She was laughing at me while I was talking. I was so appalled I had to walk away so I didn't embarrass myself by getting loud bc it was just so inappropriate and RUDE. Now let's get to the room, it appeared clean but then we realized that it wasn't, like maybe it wasn't flipped over completely by the housekeeper, the bed appeared cleaned and made but when we climbed in after our dinner and drinks there was sand in it. We had to sleep on the towels from the bathroom because it was too late to ask them for a new room. The next morning I called for clean extra towels and they never arrived. The blow dryer offered by the hotel is a Whisper 1200, I mean Hyatt come on every other hotel brand has upgraded to a normal size dryer.... Now let's talk about how the outlet in the bathroom didn't even work so we couldn't get ready for our brunch at the hotel because the dryer only worked by the lamp and there was no mirror except in the bathroom. We mentioned to the clerk at the front desk later what happened and they didn't seem to mind that we're inconvenienced. A manager appeared to be standing near the young check out clerk but she pretended to look busy so as not to have to engage, not sure. The whole stay was odd. Except the B&B bartender who was really nice and they had a great guitar player in the outdoor bar. We enjoyed that part. Oh and the Compass Room meal was 10/10! 5 Stars! We loved it!

I arrived at noon on a Friday after driving in from Las Vegas, and Dylan at the front desk set the tone immediately. Before I could even ask, he let me know there were no suite upgrades available but offered me a King Premium and got me checked in on the spot. As a solo traveler who had just made that drive, being able to walk straight to a room and crash was everything. He took a few minutes to catch me up on what had changed since my last stay; the breakfast situation being the highlight of that conversation, which turned out to be... relevant. The next morning, after a rough experience at breakfast, I mentioned something at the front desk and Donna, the front-end manager, stepped in immediately, not defensively, but genuinely wanting to understand what happened and make it right. That kind of accountability is rare. Saturday night brought a similar hiccup at the bar, and Sayan handled it the same way: professionally, without hesitation. The room was exactly what I've come to expect from Kimpton, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. But the real story here is the staff outside the restaurant. Dylan, Donna, Sayan, these are hospitality professionals who actually care, and it shows. The hotel itself earns every star.
