Water leak under fridge onto concrete of room 201
    Jacqueline C.

Everything was great... except for our room. We ate chicken and pastor tacos with a DoleWhipped cocktail while lounging at LyloSwim Club. Nice atmosphere and great music playing. Quick and friendly service. At the Say When Rooftop Bar, we enjoy the complementary cocktail. Not sure what it was but it was delicious with passion fruit and vodka. The service was not so good. Our food ended up at another table and vice versa. When we got the Mini Pizzas, they were very tasty and a great little snack between lunch and dinner. At the Cartel Roasting Co. we had two different drinks. Hubby enjoyed his cold brew and my CCL as I didn't like it. He did like it a lot tho. He loved the Poblano Burrito and I really like the blueberry muffin. They were able to heat his burrito but not the muffin. The complementary popcicle from the Pop Stand was SO GOOD. You can take the popcicle at check-in or come back at any point during the stay. We both had boozy ones. Ok the ROOM. So dirty. Rug, floor, chairs, you could see the crud coming from the air filter. Water was leaking into the concrete floor from the drink fridge. Water sprayed out of the shower onto the floor and took more than ten minutes to be only warm. The redeeming quakes that we book a room with a fire pit. We used it make s'mores and it was lovely outside.

Making a cross country journey, we stayed the night at the lovely Rise Uptown Hotel after finding it listed on HotelsTonight. Honestly, we went in with fairly low expectations but this place blew us away. The rooms were super cozy, the retro vibe of the entire spot was spot on, and the pool/lounge area was a great way to relax post-long drive for an hour or two. The area itself is also cool, with some restaurants and bars in walking distance, and a cute little book store we just fell in love with. The rooms were well maintained and cozy as well. Already looking for another reason to hop over to Phoenix to visit the Rise crew!

Rise Uptown is a whole vibe - fun, funky, and full of personality. This place is exactly what you'd hope for from all the cute things people post online. We were greeted with a popsicle when we checked in (we went with lime + vodka, which was super refreshing after the drive). One of the fun extras is that you get to pick out three records, and they bring a record player to your room. Ours didn't really work that well--kept skipping--but it was still a cool little touch and fun to browse through the vinyl collection. The rooftop bar, Don Woods' Say When, was definitely one of the highlights. It's got such a cool retro vibe, great cocktails, and views for days. We went up there around sunset and could see Camelback and the whole skyline--it was stunning. Perfect spot to hang out before dinner or for a late-night drink. The pool scene at Lylo Swim Club was just as fun. The setup is colorful and laid-back with tons of loungers and umbrellas. It's very mid-century modern, but in a playful, not-too-serious way. Drinks by the pool were solid and the vibe was super chill. Overall, Rise Uptown nailed it. It's got character, style, and all the little extras that make a stay feel special--even if the record player was more for show. I'd absolutely stay here again.

    Roomnet Streaming Menu

I loved everything about the place, and I mean everything; from the mid-century modern boutique to the popsicles, the excellent staff, and the outdoor bar. It gets a two because of the Roomnet streaming service. It is extremely limited and only offers Fox News as a national and global news source. Expand the choices or dump Roomnet. I don't watch state-sponsored news outlets or establishments that solely endorse them (either passively or actively) As Keenon Rhompson says! "FIX IT! . Please do better so I can return. It's a great place with a great vibe.

My mom and I stayed here this Mon-Wed in July. I picked this hotel for the pool. There weren't more than 6 people at the pool at any time but that's to be expected on a weekday. They check your bags at the pool entrance. You cannot bring in outside food or drink. The room was really cute and everyone working here is very friendly. I wish the rooms had 2 luggage racks. They didn't have any. You get 2 free overnight parking passes per room. You get 2 free popsicles (with or without alcohol) and each night you are there, you get 2 free drinks (one per person) at their HH. The HH location changes between Lylo and the rooftop bar depending on the day. I tried some fruit flavored mojito at Lylo HH on Tuesday and it was awful. It was so sweet, that even when you replace half of it with water, it was still too sweet. I also wasn't sure if there was any alcohol in this at all. Couldn't taste it, only the sugar. They can deliver ice to your room if you send a text to their number which they give you at check-in.

Beautiful property with a fun pool scene. Really nice rooms with balconies. 420 friendly and dog friendly. Great coffeeshop and the food at the pool bar is delicious. The nearby cafe and restaurants are also great. Conveniently located in Phoenix.

We loved it enough to stay 2 nights when we had originally only planned on staying for 1. The property was cute, with a Palm Springs/Miami vibe and awesome pool & pool bar area. There were free popsicles when we checked in, a cool retro-cabin-father's office style rooftop bar and so many cool spots within walking distance. We loved the room decor and for some reason - the towels were extra amazing (big and super soft). It was clean and DOG FRIENDLY , with no additional fees for fur family members.

I stayed here for my 30th birthday weekend. Check in was wonderful and fast. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. The complimentary popsicles were a nice touch. We also got a voucher for a complimentary cocktail at the rooftop bar during happy hour. They also sent up a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday. The room itself is adorable. We stayed in a room with a balcony that was very spacious. Parking was close to the room. And the hotel is only about a 10-15 min drive to downtown. I saw a review that said this wasn't a walkable hotel. It indeed was. We walked to a bookstore, coffee shop, breakfast restaurant, and liquor store during our stay. I don't think they offer daily housekeeping but maybe you can request it The pool area was small but nice with several day bed and lounge chairs. The drinks from the bar were delicious. Overall, 10/10 recommend and would stay again.

Tuesday check in to an empty hotel, I guess we got the VIP room. Construction started at 5:45 am.

So, is it possible to grab a seat at the pool without reserving a seat through the lylo swim club? Like I'm trying to figure out if I even need to buy a seat at the Lylo.

It was glorious. I definitely recommend trying one of the classes or "experiences" if you stay here. Some of them you have to pay extra for, but a few of them are included with your room rate. At first glance the hotel interiors and architecture seem extremely simple and minimal, but then you realize it's actually all a piece of mid-century modern inspired art. The guy who rang us up was friendly, but when we came to close out, he told me gratuity was automatic and to just sign for it (I was charging it to my room). I asked him "gratuity is automatic? " He said yes. I didn't think much of it and signed for it and got my receipt and went on about my day. But as I was looking at my receipt, it gave me a gratuity option at the bottom, which made me realize gratuity should not have been automatic. I confirmed with the front desk that gratuity is up to the customer. She did credit my room for the amount of the gratuity that he gave himself. In the end, it is not about the gratuity because I was going to tip him regardless. For me, it's the principal.

This was our fourth consecutive year, and we were eagerly anticipating this trip with high hopes for the Omni Scottsdale experience. While the property itself was beautiful and the restaurants were excellent, the spa was an enormous disappointment. The setting had all the makings of a luxurious retreat, but the spa experience fell far short of expectations. Both the interior jacuzzi and the rooftop spa pool had a visible ring of grime made up of oils and skin residue. When I ran my finger along the edge, a chunk of sticky buildup came off--it encircled the entire tub. What made this especially concerning was that I was the very first spa guest to use the jacuzzi on a Saturday morning at 9 a.m. This clearly wasn't buildup from a busy day; it appeared to be the result of weeks or even months of inadequate cleaning and maintenance. There is simply no excuse for that level of neglect at a resort and spa of this caliber. I reported the issue immediately. To her credit, the general manager was gracious and responsive, ultimately comping two nights of our stay, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the spa manager did not seem to fully grasp how unacceptable and unsanitary the situation was. I was offered 10% off spa services, but after spending more than $600 specifically to enjoy the spa amenities, I found it impossible to relax or enjoy the experience afterward. Overall, it was deeply disappointing and honestly upsetting, especially given how much we look forward to this annual tradition each year.
