I get a haircut there around every 4-6 weeks, and recommend it to anybody that asks me where to get a haircut in Downtown. Environment Professional, spacious, clean, comfortable. There are two leather couches, a coat hanger, and even a coffee machine there (not instant coffee - real, fresh ground coffee). Service JB is my guy at Concept, and he is not only skilled but he actively maintains me as a client. He documents each cut, familiarized himself with my hair type, and can consistently replicate previous cuts or make adjustments depending on what I'm going for. Usually I just go in with a vague request like "Just a clean up, maybe some shaping on the beard" and he always delivers with something that looks good. I'm satisfied with his work after every appointment.

I've been going here a while now, and Mike consistently proves to be the best barber/stylist I've ever had. He understands all different hair types, and mine (straight when short, wavy when long, prone to frizz and resistant to holding a style) caused me endless frustration before him. He finally got me away from traditional shampoo, and into better products and routines - and it worked! And of course it's great to have a relaxed experience with someone who talks you through what he's doing so you understand how it'll grow in. I really can't recommend him highly enough. read more
