When i took in my shirts and pants the young girl behind the counter told me they offer same day service if you drop off by 9am. She also said since it was in the afternoon she would not get them back till the following day normally. I said that is fine. I took out my clothes and separated them out on the counter for her while she took my info. She then told me that due to the amount i had, 25 shirts and 4 pants that they may need a extra day with them. So i left them with her a bit puzzled that that amount may need an extra day. I told her I wanted heavy starch as i like my shirts creased and stiff. I returned the following day after 5 on a whem that they would be back. She tells me "I told you we will not have them back till tomorrow" So i said thanks i just thought with you having same day service you would have them back this evening. I came back the following morning and they had them back. When i took a quick look at them i noticed they had no creases in the sleeves. I inquired about the starch and creases not being present. The lady told me ohh we don't do creases and yes they are starched as you asked. I then said this is the first time i got my shirts back from any cleaners with out creases. She said this is normal for them. I then promptly paid the $100 bill and started to gather my stuff when she said, oh we kept a shirt due to there being a stain on it, and it will be ready tomorrow. I said ok thank you. I returned the next evening to find out they kept 5 shirts, Which i know most if not all did not have stains on them. So after handing me the remaining part of my order, she told me I owed them an additional $25 for those shirts. So With all that being said. I feel they Lied to me to cover their lateness on having my order ready, They failed to properly starch my shirts. Their customer service is next to none. If they would have offered to send the shirts back and starch them properly and tell me the truth about the missing shirts i would not have wrote this review this way. I recommend anyone looking for a place to due their dry cleaning to use another company unless you enjoy being lied to and taken advantage of.

Of course they do a great job but it's the people that work there that keep me coming back. All are personable and easy going while getting the job done. OK, he doesn't feel great (on oxygen for Pulmonary Fibrosis) and owners couldn't have missed that! They never mentioned a price, just rang up his card. They didn't even tell him when the handbags would be ready until he asked, and the male clerk/owner(?) said "about a month, we have to send them out". After hubbie told me this when he got home, I asked to see the receipt. I was shocked to see they charged him an $85 deposit and planned to charge an additional $40-plus upon pickup. This was a Saturday so they squeezed in this outrageous ripotff of a sale just prior to closing. I left a scathing voicemail telling them to credit his card and have the bags ready for pickup Monday morning. Hubby went in to pick them up and get a receipt for a credit to his card. They had the bags, but the woman said she had (are you ready?) "NO WAY OF REFUNDING HIS CREDIT CARD"!!!!! At that point he just took my bags brought them home and proceeded to file a CC dispute against them. I also spoke with the (excellent) BOA rep who confirmed that no service was ever provided by Gentle Cleaners, and they did not handle things in a professional manner. May I suggest to all that you to NOT do business with this unscruplous company?? There are local competitors who conduct their business in a legitimate fashion!! P.S. FYI, we won the dispute, but we should never have had to go through all that in the first place! :-)

I was looking to get a pair of dress pants cleaned right away and looked up other places that did…read morethe cleaning in house. (My usual choice sends it out.) This spot came up with good reviews and I decided to give them a try. They're in a small plaza with a restaurant and some other businesses. There isn't a lot of parking, but I suggest going during a non-peak meal time to find a spot. I've been fortunate to find parking both times I've gone. The owner was present when I arrived with my pants. He confirmed he could do a delicate cleaning on these and would not press a crease into the pants. (His rule of thumb is to not put a crease in unless the customer asks.) He did recommend that I remove the button as he didn't have a spare, which the instructions in the pants suggested anyway. He loaned me a seam ripper from the back so I could remove the button before he took the pants. They do not use harsh chemicals on dry cleaning here - good for those avoiding harsh chemicals and wanting an eco-friendly cleaner. Prices are very reasonable here. My pants were finished on Monday afternoon with no rush charge. (I dropped them off on Saturday.) The pants looked crisp but not crunchy - ready to wear after being picked up.

The most recent pick up, my shirt shrank considerably. I've had other instances where stains (almost bleach like) on 2 pick ups that ruined the clothes. Another instance I was charged around $60+ for a coat that had stains they said they'd removed, they were unable to remove them. Given the multiple mishaps, I will look for another place to have my clothes dry cleaned. At this point it became unacceptable.

She then stated she "could not trust" me because I did not have history with them. She then reverted back to the originally agreed upon price and apologized stating there was a confusion. The sweaters were returned stretched and loose fitting and the button on my coat was broken. In reading some of the other reviews for this business, I think people have this expectation that magic can happen and they are the only ones that live on this planet. Plan accordingly people!... if you can't find that a place can't accommodate your impossible schedule that you created for yourself, take your business elsewhere. All the work is done in-house here and organic. Lots of other dry cleaning places (that are less expensive) ship out the garments to another facility so it then becomes a game of transportation and logistics. I know I've been trying to be more environmentally conscious about my decisions, but think about the extra gas it takes to transport garments from the cleaners to another place - it just erks me to think about the wasted fuel as I'm sure all that driving adds up. Soapbox speech over... I was super happy with the service here and will be coming back. It is in the same complex as my work, so very convenient. The day I picked up my suits, their credit card system was being weird and actually didn't charge me. The staff member called and politely asked me to come back in to pay the balance (which was no problem). I came back the next day and she totally remembered me (since the situation was unique).
