I am simply echoing the same sentiments everyone else here has said. Started off very well. Cleaning was decent. Had to remind them to do things like empty the trash, dust the blinds and my desk. After we made that clear they did a decent job. Crew was friendly and worked hard. The issue was consistency. I was told I would have them come every Friday from 1:30-2:30pm window. They then began to show up later and later each week. One week they called at 8am cancelling. I had family coming into town and told them not to worry about coming next week. They then had a crew show up an hour later to clean. My contact there was a guy named Michael. I texted him to update my credit card on file. No response. I messaged him again about a concern. No response. Last week the maids did not show and we called to see what the issue was. Was told they would arrive between 4:30-5. I was leaving for an event at 6pm and told them not to come and cancelled the service. I then got another call two hours later after we fired them and was told the maids would arrive around 6:30pm. I told them I had already fired them so why is someone dispatched. They had no idea about what was happening. The management is a mess. The service starts off great but you have to stay on top of them to keep things at a certain level. I do not recommend at all. read more

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. My apt was not in great condition BUT 3 women, a quote for 4hours-6hours which is only 1 hour and 20mins in the apt. They only did bathtub and fridge! looked like they were NEVER there! They saw the condition of the apt and said they would not be able to do much, so I said ok lets do the basics, which I assumed would include vacuuming the floors!! I am beyond disappointed. The team assigned to our home was wonderful for our first three cleanings. Their attention to detail was incredible. They asked for a five star review, so I was happy to do so. However, the quality of service dropped for the fourth cleaning. I provided private feedback indicating that I missed the attention to detail they had for the previous cleanings. Then, for the fifth cleaning, they claimed to be locked out when they were not, did not use the provided key code, and only called the secondary number that cannot be answered during business hours. I called and spoke to Jacqueline at TCA to figure out why they didn't enter and how to move forward. She quickly became combative, so I told her I was no longer interested in problem solving and would like to end services with TCA. She said, "Yes, ma'am, we understand each other. You can go straight to hell. Be sure you put that in your review." Jacqueline, here's the review you eloquently asked for. I have never before used Cleaning Authority. I thought Elizabeth and Aida moved too slowly, despite their excellent attitudes and diligence and methodical approach. I decided to hire this company after reading the reviews. I hired this company to clean all of the doors in the house and four bathrooms in two hours. To be quite honest, I was let down by their failure to finish the job for which I had hired this company. When the allotted time expired, they were in the midst of the two downstairs bathrooms. I was called by the business manager to inform me that I would need to pay for additional time in order for them to complete the task. She claimed that they had exceeded the allotted time by thirty minutes after we debated this point. I would therefore have to pay for that additional time, and an additional $139.00 would be required if I wanted them to complete cleaning the two bathrooms. She made a concession, cutting that hour down to $51.00. However, the work for which I engaged the company was not finished. None of the doors downstairs had any work done to them. However, they completed the second floor's doors. Naturally, the total cost of the four bathrooms (two small ones) and the six doors on the second floor came to $351.00. Even though I knew this business was charged by the hours, the job was not completed as stipulated!! Had I opted to have my first-floor doors cleaned, the total cost would have been nearly $500.00. That is illogical. I really should have known better than to use an hourly cleaning crew. Everything hinges on how fast or slowly the staff members work. It was dishonest! exploiting the customer. Started out well, then they stopped mopping floors, stopped cleaning the tub, and I had to ask them to do everything that I kept finding they hadn't done. Not a good value for 20 minutes or less of work. read more

I had two deep cleans done. The first was horrible, no windows, ceiling fans, furniture, pictures or counters were cleaned. They came and did a re-clean the next day which was great so I decided to give them another chance. I had my second "deep clean" yesterday. They were only there for 90 minutes and again, no furniture was cleaned and neither of the toilets in my house were cleaned. I ended my cleaning contract with them since if that is their standard of a "deep clean" the normal cleaning is definitely not worth the money. read more

After a substandard level of cleaning and several items broken in our home in less than a year, we had no choice.but to discontinue there service. I received several direct mailers from this company. Went online to get an estimate and at the end it said a representative would get back to me for scheduling. Days passed and no one called. So... I called them, the representative confirmed the information I entered online and said someone from scheduling would contact me... it's been a full seven days and nothing.. not a single call or email. I wanted to get house cleaning once a month in order to keep up better during the weekly cleans. My husband reluctantly agreed and I had Jack Reynolds come and view the house . He was (at first) very professional. I mentioned how concerned I was having people come in as we have 3 cats and a dog. I was worried about the cats getting out and he assured me that it would be in my cleaning file to look after pets . Before my first clean I made sure to talk to Jack and remind him of the pet issue . He said he would mention it to the crew personally . The first "clean A" went great and I felt my house is as spring clean. This was a coveted Friday clean and the crew seemed to do a great job. No pet issues . Second clean, the "Clean B" was not so great. I had to cancel a clean because my husband had to stay home to study for a work exam . I cancelled for another day. Jack was very rude and terse about the cancellation even after I explained it was a last minute emergency. I rescheduled for an early morning clean on a Tuesday. This clean was not impressive at all. I felt my floors hadn't been cleaned even after I asked for the crew to use my own chemical for pets : Natures Miralce . They didn't wet clean my floors and you could see dirt . My door frames weren't cleaned as promised . I called Jack before my 3rd clean and made sure to reiterate the pet issue and to make sure the crew actually washed the floors in my chemical . When we got home my husband had the horror of finding our cat 5 doors down outside on a very busy street . Luckily nothing happened to our baby and he was able to catch him. Needless to say he was furious. The crew left our clothes hamper broken . The clean was subpar . I called corporate that afternoon to complain about the pet issue stating I wanted a full refund due to negligence. They stated I had to speak to the owner Jack Reynolds. I did do the next day and he was told me he had to "think about a refund". I held my ground saying he didn't want my husband calling corporate. He got even ruder and hung up on me . To this day I still haven't receive my refund . Now I will never have a cleaning service again as my husband won't trust anyone . Bottom line : stay away from this company at all costs ! read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY !!!!!!! I worked for this company last year 2017 - for ONE month. I was promoted to manager my first day there - which was shocking and weird. He forced me to train the other girls there - which none of them spoke English so it was hard teaching them. And none of them cleaned or detailed properly like Cleaning Authority teaches you the first week of TRAINING. Come to find out - Jack doesn't even make his housekeepers watch the "Cleaning Authority Trainer Video" to teach his new workers - instead, he just throws them into a house to clean and get his money! I came from a Cleaning Authority in California - and we did things way differently - so I was way ahead of everyone and this is why Jack made me manager my first day. Let's just say I ended up quitting because he would curse me out and hang up in my face and blame me for other girls not cleaning the houses correctly. On top of that, I've seen girls steal and most of the women there are not CITIZENS and they're ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS which bothers me a lot because he is allowing these people into your homes!!!! And he doesn't even give these women background checks or drug tests!!! Also, his equipments "such as his vaccums and mini vac" are raggedy and do not clean your floors thoroughly. And when I would complain to him about it, he would say he would fix the vacuums and never did. This is another reason most of my customers floors weren't properly cleaned. This company is terribly run. I have been using them for almost a year and had several issues/poor service. When talking to the manager he is incredibly rude, makes snarky comments and generally just treats the customer terrible. I was requesting to try a different crew since I had been unhappy with my current crews work. He just wanted to blame my dogs for their poor lazy service. I did not appreciate the way I was treated and the lack of responsibility he took for the service I received. Despite the website explicitly stating that they serve the military base, NAS JRB Fort Worth, they do not. I clearly stated on my estimate appointment request that I live on base. When the guy called at our appointment time, he seemed shocked that I stated we lived on base. After making some inquiries to me about how to get on base (despite him saying they've cleaned on base before), he said nevermind they're going to have to pass. I don't mind that he couldn't get on base. I mind that the website very explicitly (and thus falsely) lists the base name as an area of service even though they clearly do not actually serve that area. read more

This is addressed with Manager, promises are made, but always after 2 weeks, back to frustration as, at best, the home is neglected. After receiving several clever marketing materials (Life's too short to clean your own house!), I called and set up an appointment with Jack Reynolds. He came by my house, but I was still stuck at work. I was mortified and extremely apologetic. He was very terse, but rescheduled. I didn't miss our second appointment and found him to be very pleasant in person. We walked through the house and I explained that the quote should not include the master bedroom (it was too cluttery to clean!) and the small half bath because that is where I keep the litter box. I believe I said something to the effect of 'no one gets paid enough to have to deal with that'. I hired The Cleaning Authority to complete a thorough kitchen and master bath cleaning and basic cleaning of the rest of the house. The two house cleaners showed up on time and immediately went upstairs. Our upstairs air conditioner was working working very poorly and it was too hot for them to work up there. I tried to tell them to skip it, but neither spoke English. It is in contract that the house must be at a reasonable temperature to clean and they should have refused since it was about 85 degrees. Instead, they both stayed in the upstairs bathroom for about an hour occasionally yelling 'calente'. Although I specifically asked that the half bath not be touched, it was cleaned anyway. One problem... the drainage pipe from the auto-washing cat box was pulled out of the toilet and left on the floor. I didn't discover it until the next morning. The bathroom floor and walls were coated in a layer of liquefied cat feces. It was horrible! I called the phone number for TCA on my invoice immediately and told them what happened. The person told me they would have someone call me back. As promised, I received a call a couple of minutes later. The man I spoke to was very apologetic and exhibited excellent professionalism. He asked if I wanted someone to come over and I advised this was a biological mess (which they reasonably do not do). I told him I just wanted him to be aware of what happened and that it could be a training opportunity. He told me to let him know how much the cleaning cost was. Since I cleaned it myself (yikes!), there was no cost. You can't put a price on grossing out. When he said he would send a different crew next time, I said we should just call it even and that I would not be hiring them again. He said he understood. Two weeks later, I received an irate phone call from Jack Reynolds complaining that two cleaning ladies were at my house and I wasn't there to let them in. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and that I never booked an appointment. He said that he called and left me a message the day before saying they would be there. 1) You're not hired unless I hire you. 2) During our initial consultation I advised that I work full-time and appointments would have to be scheduled weeks in advance. 3) I indicated I would no longer be using this service in the future when I called about the cat poo waterfall. 4) A moot point, but I d After I explained that I told the company two weeks prior they would not be hired again because of the poop, he didn't believe me that I called to report the problem. He took it way too far and actually raised his voice to accuse me being a horrible person before hanging up on me. This was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. The Cleaning Authority is the best cleaning service we have ever had. I did not know about them and was looking for a better cleaner and my neighbor, he always has a beautiful house, highly recommended them. They have been absolutely terrific and I have been with them about eight months now. They are professional, on time, and most importantly do a wonderful job all around and cleaning the house. I wanted to make sure that the company paid their workers well, because that matters. It matters in the job people do and the kind of employees that you want to attract. They are simply terrific. That aside, it was my interactions with the owner at the time, that affirmed my decision to find an alternative provider. Don't use them! No one speaks English and they say they don't use bleach products but they do. I worked there for 3 days and ended up with the flu and couldn't go back but the last day I was there the girl I rode with smoked pot in her car in between cleaning houses and I also wasn't going to do it again and risk going to jail. So it's a little hard to work when no one can speak English.Trust me they don't look like the pics..no shirts or uniforms..when I didn't get a check in the mail for 2 months I called and Jack the owner was a complete a$$ hole. This was THE worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning company. None of my faucets or cabinets were even wiped down, which is a guaranteed part of the first cleaning. My shower wasn't cleaned nor was my closet carpet vacuumed. They came while I was at work, when I returned home I was shocked at how little they did. I sent pictures of all they hadn't done and then spoke to supervisor and he was rude and obnoxious to me. I would never recommend the crew they send to the Aledo/West Fort Worth area. read more

Staff does not speak English, so they do not understand instructions. Staff checks off cleaning list even when task has not been completed. I come home to find cobwebs, dust bunnies, and trash. On three of the visits, items were broken...an antique sugar bowl, a bookend, a picture frame. But, they did not inform me, call me, or leave me a note. Also, they will clear off a surface, like a nightstand or dresser to dust, but not return items - lamp, photo frame, etc. laying on my bed when I got home! Jack Reynolds will not listen to concerns. Cleaning Authority has had a year with me and it has moved from "almost right" to "terrible". Have now had three different teams and it seems they have gotten worse over time. Total disregard for property (metal vac hose end gouging wood floor, scratches on stainless steel kitchen appliances, marks on the walls where mops/buckets/equipment has been dragged, leaving wet towels on the wood floor). All of this and they don't even do a decent job cleaning. I have had to re-clean the kitchen each time to feel safe about cooking in it. Cleaning Authority, you're fired. read more

I moved my service from the Mansfield office to the Fort Worth office. Initially no issues but then the crew started arriving later and later than scheduled. This was up to 60 - 90 minutes later than planned. I made it clear to Mike about a month ago that I needed them here on time due to working from home on this date. I was assured this would be handled. Yesterday, the arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes late. I left a message for the franchise owner to call. He never called back so called again today. Got a return call from Mike, who informed me the owner retired. Not sure who runs the company. Mike then proceeds to tell me they have a 90 minute window. Never was this discussed until today. I reminded him that he assured me this would be handled. After going back and forth, I told him to cancel my service and was about to ask to speak to corporate but was hung up on. I too had a pretty cleaning the first time, followed by less than good cleaning there after. I had to call them back on two separate occasions to clean the floors. The final time they came, one of the ladies had a serious cold. She was coughing repeatedly without covering her mouth. I called Jack and he was rude, defensive, and told me that they would not be back to clean my house. I hope everyone looking for a cleaning service in Fort Worth sees these comments. It will not end well if you go with Jack at The Cleaning Authority. I called corporate and was told that Jack is the Franchise owner, that they could not reprimand him and there was no one else that worked in Fort Worth. Just as the other bad reviews, I too have had a bad experience with Jack Reynolds. Today was the final straw. I came home to a house that was obviously barely touched. I went from room to room with a Swifter and was appalled at the evidence that floors were not touched. I used a new pad for each room and each room's Swifter pad was dirty. (There's more besides the floors.). Jack got very angry, defensive and was rude to me. I told him that If he charged my credit card for today's visit that our relationship was severed. He said you can't fire me, I quit! I say good riddance! This bad review refers to ONLY the Fort Worth franchisee. The 1 star is only for the cleaning that was decent. Jack Reynolds is very unprofessional. We started using the cleaning authority several months ago and maybe even last year some time. They were much cheaper than our previous cleaning company. Our main reason for switching was the other people were having difficulty accommodating our request for 2:30 pm, but the cleaning authority assured us that was no problem. We liked the women who came and only had 1 incident where our wood floors had a white powder type look, but the next clean was back to usual. This week Jack Reynolds called me Sunday afternoon to request the girls come between 1:30-2:30 instead of 2:30 bc they had a cancellation. I explained (as I had for similar requests in the past), that my husband works nights and I would have to check with him bc that would require him to get up earlier. We agreed I would call back to the main scheduling number if this was ok, but if not they would come at regular time. I never called bc my husband said no. Monday at 130 I get a call from Jack, but am unable to answer bc I'm at work. He calls my husband, but he's asleep so misses the call. He called Jack back at 2 when he woke up. Jack was angry with him and told him I agreed to this on Friday. He sent the women home when he couldn't reach us. I called today to request they come back Monday at usual time and resume every 2 weeks from there. When Jack called back he apologized for Monday, saying it was his fault and he should have been more organized. He yanked me for being understanding and mentioned Brendan was also understanding, then immediately changed his tone of voice to anger and said "But were NEVER coming back to your house!" I was baffled and repeated what he had said to me. He responded with "you couldn't bother to return my calls, so we can't be bothered to come clean." Mind you, this was his mistake and I was not even mad. I was just asking them to keep coming starting next week. Then I brought up that he said he talked to me on Friday, when it was actually Sunday, and we agreed no call meant regular time. He said, "Well, you're right! That was a bold faced lie and you caught me!" Then I told him I would be retracting previous referrals I've given and he hung up on me. I'm still baffled read more

It's a shame there's so many negative reviews. I've been using Cleaning Authority for almost a year now and have had zero issues. My house is always clean, nothing has ever been stolen, and my pets are always right where I left them. I've rescheduled cleanings once or twice with no problems. The price is also reasonable. The owner, Jack Reynolds, inspected my home himself, and set a cleaning price. However, he left a bathroom, two bedrooms and a sunroom off of the list he gave his crew, so it was a struggle with non-English speakers to get them to clean the whole house each time. After the last clean, I sent Jack a detailed list of the specific shelves, floors, etc., from their cleaning list that had not been touched. He replied only that he would go over the list with the crew. I then asked about a re-clean or partial refund (the website offers a re-clean), and he responded with an offer of $25 and added simply, "We are not interested in cleaning your house again." read more

The Cleaning Authority was hire to clean my home every 2 weeks on Wednesday at 1300 hrs, I waited until 1530 and called the main number and they said that Jack would call me back. Jack reynolds apologized about the lateness and I stated that our last conversation the cleaning ladies would be there at 1300 and Jack called me a lyre and started shouting I hung up and called the main # again and asked to talk to a manager but instead Jack calls me back and again started the cussing so I hung up again.
