I felt like the people there actually enjoy doing what they do and are happy to help. Quick aside for comparison. I went to a chain battery store before visiting this place. When I entered that store it reeked of smoke and the employees had their heads down as I approached them. Then they couldn't open one of the watch's backs and referred me to the mall...lol. Hubby and I've come by a few times for the sole purposes of buying clocks for the home. Our first visit with a very nice and helpful woman employee who really stuck with us for around 45 minutes before we made our decision on what we wanted to get. No pressure, no huffs to hurry us up. We took home a musical wall clock from that visit. Our subsequent trips was to look for a cuckoo clock. We were looking for a 7-day chalet (which they have), but we didn't want musical, and we weren't too keen on any of the hunter designs. Great prices, and it was nice to really see the cuckoo clocks fairly up close. They also have a "sister" store in Solvang, which I didn't really think about until the Solvang clock store mentioned a Fullerton location that can do maintenance and repairs on the cuckoo clocks. Small world! They have a lot of grandfather clocks that I'd love to take home one day when hubby and I have our forever home. Otherwise, they have a great variety of wall clocks, from simple to musical, small and large. They do also have desk clocks, cuckoo clocks, and a good amount of watches. They carry both new and pre-owned items, it seems, though mainly new items. Prices are decent. They are around retail, but I think sometimes a little below retail depending on what you're looking at. There is also a warranty on the clocks, which makes it that much more worth it to support your local business. All employees we've worked with have been helpful, and would at least try and find answers for us if they themselves aren't sure. They were fine with us browsing around, too, which is nice; the grandfather clocks are definitely a room statement! I believe it's only street parking. Hubby and I have only parked in the streets behind Clock Man, as they are on a major street and street parking in front of the store is frequently not available. read more

The dial on the watch had come off from trying to set the time but the owner said to turn the dial counter clockwise instead.
